PARA OBTENER UN REGULADOR DE ESPUMA ESTABLE AL ALMACENAJE QUE NO PIERDE SU EFECTIVIDAD CUANDO ESTA INCORPORADO DENTRO DE UN POLVO FUERTEMENTE COMPACTADO, SE AJUSTA SU DENSIDAD APARENTE A UN VALOR EN LA ZONA DESDE 700 G/L HASTA 1.100 G/L Y SU TAMAÑO MEDIO DE GRANO SE AJUSTA A UN VALOR DESDE 0,7 MM HASTA 3 MM. MENOS DEL 10 % EN PESO DE LAS PARTICULAS DEL REGULADOR DE ESPUMA TIENEN UN DIAMETRO INFERIOR A 0,4 MM Y MENOS DEL 25 % EN PESO DE LAS PARTICULAS TIENEN UN DIAMETRO MAYOR DE 1,6 MM.
