SE DESCRIBE UN PROCESO PARA LA REDUCCION DE LA FRICCION ENTRE UN TAMBOR CABEZAL ROTATIVO Y UN MEDIO DE REGISTRO PERFILADO EN FORMA DE BANDA QUE RODEA EL TAMBOR CABEZAL PARA EL REGISTRO Y/O REPRODUCCION POSTERIOR DE INFORMACION. PARA ACORTAR EL TIEMPO DE ACCESO A LA INFORMACION ALMACENADA EN EL MEDIO DE REGISTRO CON PERFIL DE BANDA, SE DISPONE DE REPRODUCTORES DONDE EL MEDIO DE REGISTRO DOTADO EN UNA CASSETTE PERMANECE INCLUSO DURANTE LOS PROCESOS DE REBOBINADO Y DE CIRCUNVALACION DEL TAMBOR CABEZAL EN LA MISMA VIA QUE EN LOS MODOS DE BUSQUEDA Y DE REPRODUCCION. DEBIDO A QUE LA BANDA PERMANECE DURANTE EL REBOBINADO, TALES REPRODUCTORES, TAMBIEN LLAMADOS REPRODUCTORES DE CARGA COMPLETA, SUFREN DE PROBLEMAS DE FRICCION INCREMENTADA, QUE PUEDEN SER EVITADOS MEDIANTE MEDIDAS RELATIVAMENTE COSTOSAS. EL OBJETIVO DE LA INVENCION ES REDUCIR TALES COSTES ORIGINADOS POR MEDIO DE REBOBINADO EN UN REPRODUCTOR DE CARGA COMPLETA. PARA ESTE OBJETIVO, LA VELOCIDAD DE GIRO DEL TAMBOR (1) CABEZAL SE INCREMENTA POR MEDIO DE UN FACTOR, CON PREFERENCIA FACTOR 2, DURANTE EL REBOBINADO.
