LA PRESENTE INVENCION TIENE POR OBJETO UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE MINERALES DE TIERRAS RARAS Y, MAS PARTICULARMENTE, LOS MINERALES CON BAJOS CONTENIDOS EN ELEMENTOS DE TIERRAS RARAS. EL PROCEDIMIENTO DE LA INVENCION, QUE PERMITE LA RECUPERACION DE DICHAS TIERRAS RARAS, SE CARACTERIZA POR EL HECHO DE QUE CONSISTE EN: EFECTUAR LA LIXIVIACION DEL MINERAL DE TIERRAS RARAS CON AYUDA DE UNA DISOLUCION DE ACIDO NITRICO; SEPARAR LOS RESIDUOS INSOLUBLES SI ES NECESARIO; SEPARAR LAS TIERRAS RARAS DE LA DISOLUCION RESULTANTE DE LA ETAPA DE LIXIVIACION; TRATAR LA DISOLUCION CON UN HIDROXIDO DE UN CATION METALICO M, Y DESPUES SEPARAR EL PRECIPITADO; TRATAR LA DISOLUCION DESPROVISTA DE IMPUREZAS CON ACIDO SULFURICO Y SEPARAR EL PRECIPITADO; EVENTUALMENTE, RECICLAR EL ACIDO NITRICO ASI REGENERADO A LA ETAPA DE ATAQUE DEL MINERAL DE TIERRAS RARAS.
