ESTE PRODUCTO PRECURSOR, EN EL ESTADO LIQUIDO, ES INTRODUCIDO EN UN LIQUIDO INERTE, PREFERIBLEMENTE AGUA, CUYA TEMPERATURA SE ENCUENTRA POR DEBAJO DEL PUNTO DE FUSION DEL P-XILENO PURO. LA FASE DE CRISTALES, QUE SE SEGREGA EN TAL CASO, ES SEPARADA DEL LIQUIDO Y FUNDIDA. LA MASA FUNDIDA CONSTA EN ESTE CASO DE P-XILENO CON UNA PUREZA DE POR LO MENOS 99,5%.
