Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a curling stone, with a housing having a bottom, a top and a longitudinal axis extending in a main direction of movement from a rear area to a front area, wherein a roller device for support and rolling on a flat surface is formed on the bottom and a handle device is formed on the top, with a motor arranged in the housing, and with a control device for controlling the motor.
  • Curling is an Olympic sport. Unlike Bavarian curling, the granite stones are thrown with momentum and spin onto a flat ice surface, allowing the stone to travel in a parabolic path around opposing stones on its way to the target. Description

    • Fig. 1 eine schematische Seitenansicht eines Curlingsteins gemäß vorliegender Erfindung mit versenkten Rollen;
    • Fig. 2 eine schematische Draufsicht auf den Curlingstein aus Fig. 1;
    • Fig. 3 einen schematischen Längsschnitt entlang einer Längsachse des Curlingsteins aus Fig. 1, mit ausgefahrenen Rollen;
    • Fig. 4 einen schematischen Horizontalschnitt durch eine Mittelebene des Curlingsteins aus Fig. 1;
    • Fig. 5 eine schematische Draufsicht auf ein Spielfeld und eine dargestellte Bewegungsbahn eines Curlingsteins gemäß vorliegender Erfindung; und
    • Fig. 6 eine schematische Explosionsdarstellung der wesentlichen Funktionselemente des Curlingsteins aus Fig. 1.
