  • the invention is based on the object of creating a locking unit of the type described above, which is characterized by a high degree of handling safety with a high level of burglary and manipulation security and a simple structure, particularly in panic situations with escape door locks.
  • the invention teaches in a generic locking unit of the type described above that the coupling element, which engages on the one hand in the first control cam in the lock housing and on the other hand in the second control cam in the swivel bolt, in the section (or length section) in which it engages in the second control cam of the swivel bolt, has a control cross section that deviates from the circular shape and is therefore "out of round".

  • the cam-shaped cross section can, for. B. be formed by a round basic shape with an eccentrically projecting cam tip.
  • the invention is based on the knowledge that the kinematics of the swivel bolt can be optimized in a particularly simple manner, particularly in the course of pivoting or unlocking, by modifying the geometry of the coupling element, in that the coupling element, which on the one hand is in the Control cams of the lock housing and on the other hand engages in the control cam of the swivel bolt, with a non-round, e.g. B. cam-like cross-section is equipped, namely in the longitudinal section of the coupling element in which it engages in the control cam of the swivel bolt.
  • the kinematics of the swivel bolt in the course of pivoting is optimized not only by the geometry of the control cams in the lock housing on the one hand and in the swivel bolt on the other hand, but also by the geometry of the coupling element, which is preferably a "free" coupling element which is not rigid is attached to the slide, but in the course of actuation of the slide is not only displaced with the slide in the longitudinal direction, but is also movable relative to the slide, preferably in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the slide, so that the coupling element in the course of Unlocking can move through the control cams in the lock housing properly and can be moved relative to the slide.
  • the coupling element which is preferably a "free" coupling element which is not rigid
  • the coupling element is held on the slide in such a way that the coupling element is carried along with the slide in the longitudinal direction during unlocking and can (at the same time) be displaced transversely to the longitudinal direction.
  • the slider can z. B. have a recess or receptacle in which the coupling element is displaceable in the transverse direction, the transverse direction not having to be aligned exactly perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, but can also be oriented obliquely thereto.

  • the coupling element is secured against rotation and is therefore arranged in a rotationally fixed manner or is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the slide, e.g. B. against twisting guided securely in the receptacle of the slide or in the receptacle of the driver.
  • the coupling element is consequently taken along in the longitudinal direction in the course of the longitudinal displacement of the slide and can be displaced transversely to the longitudinal direction without being twisted.
  • the coupling element essential to the invention is guided in the course of the displacement of the slide in the first control cam (on the lock housing) and optionally in a recess in the slide and thereby engages in the second control cam (on the swivel lock), so that the kinematics of the swivel lock is influenced by the geometry of these control cams can be.
  • the first control curve (on the lock housing) can z. B. be sickle-shaped.
  • the second control cam (on the swivel bolt) can be angular or L-shaped, whereby the curvatures of the two control cams can be oriented opposite to one another.
  • the coupling element according to the invention can fundamentally be implemented in embodiments in which the geometry of the control cams is taken from the prior art. • this locking unit additionally has one or more bolt bolts, which are coupled to the slider via a gear in such a way that the bolt bolt is retracted in a transverse direction approximately or essentially perpendicular to it in the course of the displacement of the slider in the longitudinal direction .
  • the coupling element according to the invention is therefore particularly preferably implemented in an embodiment in which, on the one hand, a pivot bolt and, on the other hand, one or more bolt bolts are provided.
  • the bolt bolts are usually unproblematic in the event of a panic operation because they are slanted have ends and there is no risk of hindering the panic operation.
  • the geometry of the coupling element ensures that the swivel bolt is retracted at an accelerated rate compared to the bolt bolts, so that the function is optimized in the event of a panic operation.
  • the additional locking mechanism with a pivot bolt is often used in an espagnolette lock with a central lock, which has a central lock latch and/or a central bolt. Due to the thickness of the lock latch, there is usually no initial contact between the swing bolts and the locking strip (on the frame side) during a panic operation. The situation may not be optimal if the lock latch of the center lock slips out of the locking part, as the locking elements of the additional locking devices are then pressed against the locking part.
  • the early retraction of the pivot bolt ensures particularly reliably that it is retracted into the area of the bolt bolt or behind it at this point in time when the center lock latch slips out of the locking part, so that the forces are not transferred from the pivot bolt , but are taken up by the bolt bolts with bevelled ends.

  • FIG. 4A to 4F A comparative view of the Figures 4A to 4F with the Figures 5A to 5F shows, that the pivot bolt 10 in the course of unlocking in the embodiment according to the invention ( Figures 4A to 4F ) compared to the known design ( Figures 5A to 5F ) is collected faster or earlier.
  • the coupling element or control element according to the invention is retracted significantly earlier than in the prior art with a round or cylindrical control pin 11 '.
