Definitions

  • the invention relates to a scraper bar arrangement for attachment to a plow blade according to the preamble of patent claim 1 and a scraper bar cassette for use in a scraper bar arrangement according to the invention according to the preamble of patent claim 9.
  • the scraper bar can be made of steel, for example.
  • a scraper bar is typically a plate-shaped element that extends essentially the entire length of the plow blade.
  • scraper bar arrangements have already become known which include scraper bar segments that are adjustable in the height direction. Such training is available, for example, in the US 5743032 and the SE 454279 described.
  • a plow with a width of 3 m which for stability reasons consists of two or three rigid elements that can move slightly relative to each other, has a relatively poor adaptability to punctual grooves or holes.
  • the present invention therefore aims to further develop a scraper bar arrangement in such a way that the adaptability is increased and the clearing result on uneven road surfaces is improved.
  • the present invention further aims to facilitate the interchangeability of the scraper blades and to increase the stability of adjustable scraper blade elements.
  • the scraper bar arrangement according to the invention therefore consists of a combination of a sliding plate with a large number of adjustable scraper bar segments. Because the scraper bar segments are independently adjustable in the height direction, ie transversely to the scraper edge, they can adapt to uneven roads while at the same time the rigid scraper edge remains in contact with the road surface. When individual scraper bar segments are extended downwards, they can also scrape off the snow from lower-lying areas of the road, such as grooves or holes. However, if there is no space below the scraper edge of the rigid scraper bar to extend the scraper bar segments, they remain in the upwardly retracted position due to the own weight of the plow blade.
  • a further feature according to the invention lies in the subdivision of the scraper bar segments arranged along the longitudinal extent of the rigid scraper bar into at least two, preferably at least three, groups of scraper bar segments.
  • the adjustable scraper segments of a group are each combined in a scraper cassette, in which the scraper segments are adjustable in a direction that runs transversely to a scraper edge of the scraper segments.
  • the arrangement of a plurality of scraper segments in a scraper cassette enables the scraper segments to be assembled and dismantled together, so that downtime is minimized.
  • the scraper cassette is viewed as a wearing part that can be easily replaced if necessary.
  • the scraper bar segments are slidably displaceable parallel to the sliding plate.
  • the scraper bar segments can be supported on the sliding plate, so that the scraping forces that occur during contact with the road are absorbed not only by the individual scraper bar segments, but also by the sliding plate behind them.
  • the cutting edge segments are designed as flat plate-like elements, the plate plane of which runs parallel to the plane of the rigid sliding plate.
  • the feature that the scraper segments slide on the rigid slide plate during the displacement movement does not mean that the scraper segments and the rigid slide plate must directly touch each other.
  • the sliding can also be achieved with the help of an intermediate layer or an intermediate element, which preferably has friction-optimized properties.
  • the sliding plate has a fastening section which is fastened to a scraper holder.
  • the scraper cassette can be designed as a standard component, while any necessary adaptation to different assembly situations, e.g. different hole patterns of the plow blade or the scraper bar carrier, can be done by means of a correspondingly adapted design of the sliding plate.
  • a preferred embodiment provides that the fastening section of the sliding plate is secured to the scraper bar carrier with the aid of fastening elements, in particular screw bolts, which pass through holes formed in the fastening section is attached.
  • fastening elements in particular screw bolts
  • the bores are designed as countersunk bores, which enables a recessed arrangement of the head of the fastening elements or screw bolts.
  • the scraper cassette has a housing that is open on the side facing the cover element Includes cutting edge segments.
  • the open housing is closed by the cover element as soon as the housing is attached to the scraper bar support.
  • the scraper segments each have an elongated guide slot running in the direction of displacement and that positioning bushings are attached to the sliding plate, which pass through the guide slot and form a guide element for the displacement movement of the scraper segments .
  • the positioning bushings advantageously each have a hole with an internal thread for a fastening screw, with which a plate-like cover element of the scraper cassette is fastened.
  • each scraper segment is assigned at least one spring element, in particular a helical spring, arranged in the scraper cassette, against which the respective scraper segment is adjustable.
  • two adjacent scraper segments each have form-fitting elements that interact with each other laterally, which limit the relative displacement movement of the scraper segments. This limits the maximum stroke of each scraper segment relative to its adjacent scraper segment. If the maximum permissible stroke relative to the adjacent scraper segment is significantly smaller than the stroke possible without limitation, e.g. less than half of the otherwise possible stroke, this means that a scraper segment cannot be fully extended individually, but only at a time Course with the neighboring cutting edge segments. It is preferably provided here that the interoperating form-fitting elements are formed by a laterally projecting pin of one scraper segment and by a lateral groove of the other scraper segment, into which the pin engages.
  • each scraper segment is assigned at least one spring element, in particular a helical spring, arranged in the scraper cassette, against which the respective scraper segment can be adjusted.
  • the scraper bar cassette preferably forms a housing for the scraper bar segments that is open on the side facing the cover element.
  • the scraper bar segments preferably each have an elongated guide slot running in the direction of displacement, positioning bushings being attached to the scraper bar cassette, which pass through the guide slot and form a guide element for the displacement movement of the scraper bar segments.
  • the positioning bushings preferably have a bore with an internal thread for a fastening screw, with which a plate-like cover element of the scraper cassette is fastened.
  • FIG. 1 a representation of a plow blade which is equipped with a scraper bar arrangement according to the invention
  • Fig. 2 a cross-sectional view of the scraper bar arrangement
  • Fig. 3 a front view of a scraper cassette in an open state.
  • a plow blade of a snow plow is designated 1.
  • the plow blade 1 carries on its lower side facing the road surface a scraper bar arrangement 2, which comprises a plurality of scraper bar cassettes 4 adjoining one another in the longitudinal direction, of which in Fig. 1 only one is shown.
  • the cutting edge cassette 4 comprises a plurality of cutting edge segments 5, which are guided independently of one another in the direction of the double arrow 6.
  • the scraper bar arrangement 2 is attached to a scraper bar support 7 which is L-shaped in cross section.
  • the scraper bar arrangement 2 comprises a sliding plate 3, which lies in a fastening section 9 between the scraper bar segment 5 and one leg of the scraper bar carrier 7.
  • the sliding plate 3 is fastened in the fastening section 9 to the scraper bar support 7 with the aid of screw bolts 10, the head of the screw bolts 10 being sunk into the rigid sliding plate 3 so that the adjustable scraper bar segments 5 can slide along a flat surface on the sliding plate 3.
  • the sliding surface of the sliding plate 3 is in the in Fig. 2 Example shown is formed by a sliding support 11.
  • the adjustable scraper segments 5 are held in the scraper cassette 4 with the help of positioning bushings 12 and 13, which can be, for example, by means of a Welded connection are attached to the sliding plate 3 and have an internal thread into which fastening screws 16 are screwed in order to fasten a plate-like cover element 8 of the scraper cassette 4 to form a housing on the sliding plate 3.
  • the cutting edge segment 5 has a guide slot 15 ( Fig. 3 ), in which the positioning bushings 12 and 13 are arranged.
  • Coil springs 14 engage on the scraper bar segments 5, as shown better Fig. 3 is visible.
  • Fig. 3 It can be seen that two adjacent cutting edge segments 5 each have form-fitting elements that interact with each other laterally, namely a pin 18 and a groove 19, into which the pin 18 engages.
  • the height of the groove 19 in the direction of the displacement movement 6 limits the stroke of a scraper segment 5 relative to the adjacent scraper segment 5.
  • the scraper assembly has the following characteristics.
  • the system basically consists of two assemblies, the sliding plate and the scraper cassette with the scraper segments.
  • the sliding plate serves as a connection to the shield. It is screwed to the shield body together with the existing rigid scraper bar. It should be noted that the existing holes must be lowered to ensure a flat sliding surface for the cutting edge segments.
  • the advantage of this sliding plate is that it is independent of the hole patterns of different plow types. This will be the hole pattern of the plow to be assembled transferred to the sliding plate and the pre-assembled scraper bar cassette with the vertically movable, spring-loaded scraper bar segments is mounted on it.
  • the permanently welded threaded bushings are located on the sliding plate. Together with the hardened drill bushings (wear-resistant) mounted on them, they serve to guide the spring-loaded cutting edge segments.
  • the cover element is positioned and screwed together. This guarantees stable lateral guidance of the vertically movable cutting edge segments.
  • the base body also has a sliding surface on which the movable cutting edge segments slide and are supported.
  • the spring holders with the pre-tensioned springs are also pre-assembled on the base body, making it particularly easy to change the wear elements.
  • the pre-assembled base body is screwed to the scraper holder of the shield body during assembly.
  • the cutting edge segments are then inserted individually. This has the great advantage that assembly and replacement of worn scraper bar segments can be carried out quickly without heavy lifting.
  • the pre-assembled cover unit is then positioned and screwed onto the system using the threaded bushings.
  • the cover unit consists of a cover plate, a welded-on sliding plate with cutouts to absorb dirt and minimize friction, and a seal that protects the system from contamination from above.
  • the solution using your own cover unit offers the advantage of easy installation.
  • the spring preload force of the individual scraper bar segments is dimensioned so that they are completely retracted when used on flat roads, so that the plow rests on both the scraper bar segments.
  • the individual scraper strip segments now adapt optimally to the given surface thanks to the spring preload force.
  • Another advantage of the scraper bar arrangement according to the invention is that the snow can also be pulled out of driveways or dead ends, i.e. in the opposite clearing direction.
