Definitions

  • the invention relates to a paper machine for producing a paper or cardboard web comprising a headbox, a former for sheet formation, a press section for dewatering and a drying section for drying the web, the web being guided through at least two press nips within the press section, together with on both sides runs an endlessly circulating, water-absorbing drainage belt through the first press nip and together with only one drainage belt through the last press nip.
  • the invention also relates to a method for producing a paper or cardboard web which has a filler content between 20 and 42%, in particular with a machine according to the invention.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to enable safe operation even at high machine speeds.
  • the object with regard to the paper machine was achieved in that, after the first press nip, its lower dewatering band is guided away from the web, the opposite, upper dewatering band transfers the web to a lower dewatering band in the second and last press nip, and this second press nip is extended.
  • This press section which is limited to two press nips, is associated with relatively little effort and, because of the two dewatering belts, already ensures a very high dewatering performance in the first press nip.
  • the first press nip can be formed by two cylindrical press rolls or can be extended.

  • the extended, second press nip should advantageously be formed by a lower shoe press roll with a flexible roll jacket and a cylindrical, upper press roll. • the smooth surface of the upper press roller ensures good web guidance, but also a relatively smooth surface on the top of the web.

  • the web 1 is then transferred from the forming fabric 19 to a water-absorbing, upper dewatering belt 4 of the press section.

  • the lower dewatering band 5 is only led away from the web 1 in the looping area of a suction-guided guide roller of the upper dewatering band 4.
  • the web 1 is then transferred in both cases from the upper dewatering belt 4 to a lower dewatering belt 6 of a second and last press nip of the press section.
  • the takeover is supported by a suction guide roller 24 wrapped around by the lower dewatering belt 6.
  • the second press nip is elongated and for this purpose is formed by a lower shoe press roll 7 and an upper, cylindrical press roll 8 with a smooth outer surface.
  • Shoe press rolls 7 have a flexible roll jacket, which is pressed by a press shoe with a concave pressing surface to form an extended press nip to the cylindrical counter-press roll 8. Because of the longer dwell time of web 1 in the press nip, they enable intensive but gentle drainage.
  • the water-absorbing drainage belts 4, 5, 6 are designed as endless circulating press felts.

  • the top of the web 1 at the end of the press section is smoother than the bottom. This is further supported by the fact that a low-marking upper side of the web 1 was already produced in the former 3.
  • the lower dewatering belt 6 is moved away from the web 1 and the web 1 alone on the jacket of the smooth cylindrical press roller 8 until it is transferred to an air-permeable dryer fabric 9 of a subsequent dryer section for drying the web 1.
  • the air-permeable dryer fabric 9 wraps around a guide roller 10 which is slightly spaced from the upper press roller 8 and is vacuumed.
  • the web 1 runs with a short free train, i.e. unsupported. So that this does not lead to a significant increase in the risk of tearing, the dry content of the web 1 should be at least 45% with this first free train.
  • the web 1 is supported by the dryer fabric 9, alternately guided in a meandering manner over heated drying cylinders 11 and suctioned guide rollers 12.
  • a removal scraper 15 and possibly also a subsequent cleaning scraper are assigned to the first drying cylinder 11 of the drying section.
  • the take-off scraper 15 separates the web 1 or its transfer strip when transferring it from the drying cylinder 11 and then guides it into a pulper 14 located below and between the first drying cylinder 11 and the following guide roller 12.
  • first drying cylinder 11 can also have a ceramic coating, which facilitates the detachment of the web 1 or parts thereof.
  • a suction device 13 and a blowing device 17 are arranged between the first drying cylinder 11 and the following guide roller 12 on the side of the drying wire 9 facing away from the web.
  • the suppression of the suction device 13 improves the adhesion of the web 1 or a transfer strip to the dryer fabric 9.
  • blowing device 17 promotes the detachment of the web 1, but in particular the transfer strip at the web edge from the dryer fabric 9.
  • the suction width and the blowing width directed at the web 1 can be changed transversely to the web running direction 16.
