Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cleaning system, comprising a bucket and a liquid-permeable basket arranged in the bucket, wherein the basket can be set into a rotational movement by a first actuating device and is arranged in the bucket in a height-adjustable manner by a second actuating device, and a cleaning appliance with a cleaning textile, the cleaning appliance having a handle on its side facing away from the cleaning textile, and the basket being designed both as a rinsing basket and as a spin-drying basket for the cleaning textile, with the second actuating device comprising the handle and a ballpoint pen mechanism the basket can be positioned in a first, lowest position in the bucket and in a second, highest position in the bucket by moving the handle up and down.
  • Such a cleaning system is from EP 3 000 375 A1 known.
  • the bucket of the cleaning system has compact dimensions. One and the same basket becomes for washing out and subsequent Dry spinning of the cleaning textile used.
  • the height of the bucket is adjustable in the basket, and the position of the height depends on the desired function. If the basket is used as a wash-out basket, the basket is positioned in its lowest position in the bucket and is in the cleaning liquid. If, on the other hand, the basket is used as a spin-dry basket, it is in its highest position in the bucket, outside the cleaning liquid.
  • the basket is set in a rotating motion both for cleaning the cleaning textile and for drying it.
  • Another cleaning system is from the WO 2011/000332 A1 known.
  • the cleaning system differs from the cleaning system described above mainly in that the second actuating device for lowering and raising the basket in the bucket does not include a ballpoint pen mechanism but a gear with ratchets and arcuate racks.
  • Another cleaning system comprises a bucket with two chambers arranged next to one another, with one of the chambers containing a liquid for washing out and cleaning the cleaning textile and the other chamber containing a spin-dry basket so that the previously washed cleaning textile can then be spun dry.
  • the cleaning textile is washed out and cleaned in that the cleaning device with the cleaning textile attached to it is washed out by immersing it in the liquid and swinging it back and forth.
  • the cleaning device with the washed-out cleaning textile is then moved into the spin-dry basket and spun dry there.
  • the spin-drying takes place in such a way that the spin-dryer basket and the cleaning textile arranged therein by means of the first actuating device are set in the rotational movement.
  • the cleaning textile is spun dry by centrifugal force.
  • the first actuating device is usually a foot pedal.
  • a cleaning system with a wringing device that has a funnel-shaped wringing basket.
  • the wringing device is non-destructively detachable and clipped onto the upper edge of a bucket.
  • the cleaning textile for example textile cleaning fringes arranged on a mop head, can be inserted into the wringing basket from above and then pushed into the basket by means of the handle of the cleaning device. In the process, cleaning liquid is squeezed out of the cleaning fringes.
  • the articulated slats reduce its outer diameter in proportion to the pressure that the user exerts on the mop head and thus on the cleaning fringes using the handle. This additionally supports the squeezing of the cleaning fluid out of the cleaning fringes.
  • the invention is based on the object of further developing a cleaning system of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it has more compact dimensions and that its use is simplified.
  • a cleaning system in which the basket and the cleaning device are connected to one another by a coupling in a rotationally fixed manner and in the axial direction with tensile strength and non-destructively releasable, the coupling transmitting a tensile force that at least corresponds to the weight of the basket during the intended use of the cleaning system and the coupling transmitting a tensile force that is less than the weight of the liquid-filled bucket.
  • the basket and the cleaning device are non-rotatably and non-destructively connected to one another by means of a coupling.
  • a coupling allows the basket to be carried along in the axial direction by an up and down movement of the handle of the cleaning device. This activates the ballpoint pen mechanism and moves the basket back and forth within the bucket between the lowest and highest positions.
  • the tensile force that is transmitted by the coupling between the cleaning device and the basket must be dimensioned in such a way that the ballpoint pen mechanism can be operated reliably on the one hand and that the cleaning device can be removed from the basket without any problems after the cleaning textile has been spun dry.
  • the coupling transmits a tensile force which corresponds at least to the weight of the basket during the intended use of the cleaning system.
  • the basket attached to the cleaning device by means of the coupling can be pulled in the axial direction from its lowest first position to its highest second position.
  • the coupling transmits a tensile force that is less than the weight of the liquid-filled bucket.
  • the tensile force that can be transmitted is by no means so great that the liquid-filled bucket gets caught on the upwardly moving handle of the cleaning device when the cleaning device is to be removed from the basket after the cleaning textile has been spun dry.
  • the cleaning device is moved axially upwards on the handle until it hits the stop of the ballpoint pen mechanism.
  • the coupling between the basket and the cleaning device then releases because the traction force is no longer transmitted, the cleaning device is released for its intended use and the basket automatically sinks back into its lowest first position in the bucket.
  • the bucket has particularly compact dimensions.
  • One and the same basket, which is arranged in the bucket so that it can be adjusted in height, is used to wash out and spin dry the cleaning textile.
  • the position of the height depends on the desired function. If the basket is used as a wash-out basket, the basket is in arranged in its lowest first position in the bucket and at least substantially completely surrounded by liquid.
  • the basket is used as a spin-dry basket, it is positioned in its highest second position in the bucket and is at least substantially completely outside the liquid.
  • the basket is caused to rotate by the first actuating device.
  • the cleaning textile is not only spun dry particularly effectively, as is known from the prior art, but is also washed out effectively and thoroughly beforehand when the rotating basket is in its lowest first position in the bucket.
  • the compact dimensions are also due to the fact that the basket is always moved up and down coaxially in the bucket.
  • the ballpoint pen mechanism is provided, through which the basket can be positioned in the lowest first position in the bucket and in the highest second position in the bucket by moving the handle up and down.
  • a ballpoint pen mechanism itself is state of the art and, for example, from U.S. 3,205,863 known.
  • the basket now has the function of a spin-dry basket.
  • the spin-dry basket is rotated by the first actuator. that in The cleaning textile in the spin-dry basket is thereby spun dry.
  • the cleaning device is then pulled upwards out of the basket in the axial direction and initially takes the basket with it up to the aforementioned stop in the ballpoint pen mechanism. If the handle is pulled further in the axial direction, the cleaning device then detaches itself from the basket and the basket in the bucket automatically sinks into its lowest first position in the bucket. The basket, which then again has the function of a washing basket, is prepared for the next washing process of the cleaning textile.
  • the cleaning textile is then washed out again after use, it is placed in the wash-out basket from above and, like the basket, is washed around by liquid.
  • the first actuating device is then actuated. This causes the basket to rotate and the cleaning fabric is thoroughly washed out. Thereafter, as previously described, the handle is pulled upwards in the axial direction up to the stop and then sinks to the level of the highest second position in the bucket. The basket and also the cleaning textile located in the basket are then completely in the open. The cleaning textile is then drained again by the rotating movement of the basket.
  • the cleaning system can be produced easily and inexpensively, has compact dimensions, as described above, and is easy for the user to operate because it is intuitive.
  • the coupling can be designed as a latching and/or magnetic coupling.
  • a magnetic coupling has the advantage that the coupling between the basket and the cleaning device is largely automatic. This is an advantage if the user's view of the coupling is restricted when placing the cleaning device in the basket.
  • the first actuator may comprise a lever and a gear, the lever and gear being operatively connected for translating reciprocating movement of the lever into rotational movement of the basket in its lowest first and highest second positions.
  • the lever is preferably formed by a foot pedal, which is pivotably arranged in the area of the bottom of the bucket.
  • the gearing can be used to step up the gears so that moving the lever up and down at normal speed results in a high rotation speed of the basket.
  • the first actuating device can include a freewheel, so that once the basket and the cleaning textile arranged therein have been driven, they remain in rotation—at least for a short time—when the actuating pedal is no longer actuated.
  • the basket In the lowest position of the basket in the bucket, the basket is preferably completely surrounded by cleaning liquid.
  • the advantage here is that the cleaning textile is completely immersed in the cleaning liquid when it is washed out. The cleaning textile is therefore washed out particularly quickly and thoroughly.
  • the basket is in its highest second position in the bucket, it is preferably arranged completely above a liquid level in the bucket.
  • the bucket may have a bottom that provides an abutment for the pen mechanism and defines the lowest first position.
  • the ballpoint pen mechanism is preferably arranged in the axial direction between the basket and the floor.
  • the bucket can have an average water level at the height of the bucket, it being preferably provided that the cleaning textile and the basket are arranged completely below the average water level in the bucket in the lowest first position and completely above it in the highest second position. In the lowest first position, the cleaning textile is washed particularly thoroughly, while in the highest second position it is spun dry particularly effectively. Such a separation of functions is a decisive advantage for good functional properties.
  • the bucket can have a maximum interior height that can be filled, which essentially corresponds to twice the height of the mean water level in the bucket and essentially to twice the height of the basket.
  • Such proportions have proven particularly advantageous because one and the same cleaning system can be used on the one hand for washing out the cleaning textile and on the other hand for spinning dry the previously washed cleaning textile.
  • the cleaning system nevertheless has compact dimensions overall and is easy to operate.
  • the cleaning system comprising the bucket 1, the liquid-permeable basket 2 arranged in the bucket 1 and the first actuating device 3 in the form of a lever 18 in order to set the basket 2 in a rotational movement 4.
  • the first actuating device 3 includes a gear 19 to which the lever 18 is functionally connected.
  • the up 20 and down movement 21 of the lever 18 is translated into the rotational movement 4 of the basket 2 .
  • the basket 2 are set into rotary motion 4 by the first actuating device 3 .
  • the basket 2 is arranged within the bucket 1 so that it can be adjusted in height.
  • the second actuating device 5 is provided, which comprises the handle 10 and a ballpoint pen mechanism 13, by means of which the basket 2 can be positioned by moving the handle 10 up 14 and down 15 in a first 16 position that is lowest in the bucket 1 and in a second position 17 that is highest in the bucket.
  • the cleaning device 7 is provided with the cleaning textile 8 .
  • the cleaning textile 8 is formed here, for example, by cleaning fringes.
  • the handle 10 of the cleaning device 7 is arranged on the side 9 facing away from the cleaning textile 8 . At the bottom of the bucket, in the lowest first position 16, the basket 2 forms a washing basket 11, while in its highest second position 17 it forms a spin-dry basket 12.
  • the bottom of the bucket 1 is provided with reference number 22 .
  • the bucket 1, the basket 2 and the ballpoint pen mechanism 13 are arranged coaxially with one another, with the ballpoint pen mechanism 13 being arranged between the basket 2 and the base 22 in the axial direction 23 of the handle 10 arranged in the basket 2 during intended use.
  • the coupling 24 is provided between the basket 2 and the cleaning device 7 , which connects the basket 2 and the cleaning device 7 in a rotationally fixed manner and with high tensile strength in the axial direction 23 , but is nevertheless non-destructively releasable.
  • the bucket 1 has an average water level 26 at the height 25 of the bucket 1, with the cleaning textile 8 and the basket 2 being completely below in the lowest first position 16 and in the highest second position 17, as in figure 2 shown, are arranged completely above the mean water level 26 in the bucket 1.
  • the bucket 1 has a maximum interior height 27 that can be filled, which essentially corresponds to twice the height of the mean water level 26 in the bucket 1 and essentially to twice the height 28 of the basket 2 .
  • the bucket is only as high as absolutely necessary for the functions described.
  • the cleaning system thus has compact dimensions not only in terms of diameter but also in terms of height 25 and can therefore be easily handled by the user.
  • the cleaning device 7 with its cleaning textile 8 is arranged in the washing-out basket 11 .
  • the washing-out basket 11 and the cleaning textile 8 are each arranged in the lowest first position 16 completely below the mean water level 26 in the bucket.
  • the first actuating device 3 in the form of the lever 18 is actuated.
  • the wash-out basket 11 is set into a rotational movement 4 .
  • the second actuating device 5 in the form of the handle 10 and the ballpoint pen mechanism 13 is operated.
  • the basket 2 which previously had the function of a washing basket 11, is pulled by the handle 10 to the highest second position 17, as in FIG figure 2 shown.
  • the ballpoint pen mechanism 13 locks the basket 2 in its highest second position 17 and then has the function of a spin-dry basket 12.
  • the spin-dryer basket 12 is completely above the mean water level 26 in the bucket 1.
  • the pulling force to move the basket 2 from its lowest first position 16 to its highest second position 17 is transmitted through the coupling 24 which connects the basket 2 and the cleaning device 7 .
  • the cleaning textile 8 of the cleaning device 7 is largely spun dry and is removed from the basket 2 by the user. This is done by increasing the tractive force, the tractive force for releasing the coupling 24 being smaller than the weight of the bucket 1 filled with liquid. As a result, the bucket 1 remains standing securely when the coupling 24 is released, and the cleaning device 7 can be safely removed from the basket 2 .
