Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cleaning system comprising a bucket and a cleaning device with a mop head, the mop head comprising a support body and cleaning fringes which are fixed to the support body, the support body being connected to a handle on its side facing away from the cleaning fringes, and one in the bucket arranged washing-out device for washing out the cleaning fringes, comprising a basket which can be set in an upward and downward movement by a first actuating device, and an ejecting device arranged in the bucket for spinning dry the cleaning fringes, comprising the basket, which can be set in a rotational movement by a second actuating device, and Centering pin, which is arranged in the basket for centering the cleaning device, the support body being essentially disk-shaped, with a peripheral boundary and with a largest extension d1 between two opposing peripheral b reach, wherein the basket is designed to be rotationally symmetrical, with a largest clear first width d2 and a first ratio of d2 to d1 ⁇ 1.5.
  • the cleaning system comprises an irrigation device for the cleaning device and a rotatable drainage basket, the drainage device comprising a fresh water reservoir which can be filled with fresh water and which is connected to the drainage basket in a flow-conducting manner through a fresh water line.
  • the fresh water reservoir is ring-shaped and surrounds the drainage basket on the outer circumference.
  • the fresh water reservoir has an upper side and a lower side, the upper side having a filling opening for the fresh water and the lower side having a connection for the fresh water line.
  • the drainage cage comprises a fresh water dome, which is connected to the fresh water line in a flow-conducting manner and protrudes into the drainage cage.
  • the fresh water dome has a base and a jacket, the base being liquid-tight and the jacket having openings through which the fresh water can flow essentially radially outward during the intended use of the drainage device.
  • the fresh water line comprises a throughflow valve which is arranged in the flow direction between the fresh water reservoir and the fresh water dome.
  • the flow valve is actuated accordingly. It is actuated by placing the cleaning device with its cleaning fringes on the fresh water dome.
  • the flow valve can be brought into the open position by applying pressure to the dewatering cage axially. When the drainage cage is relieved of pressure, the flow valve can, on the other hand, be brought into the closed position with spring force.
  • the cleaning system including a cleaning device with a mop head in addition to the bucket, the mop head comprising a support body and cleaning fringes which are fixed to the support body, the support body being connected to a handle on its side facing away from the cleaning fringes.
  • the previously known cleaning system also has a wringing device with a funnel-shaped wringing basket. The wringing device can be detached non-destructively and clipped onto the upper edge of the bucket in a form-fitting manner.
  • the mop head can be inserted into the wringing basket from above and then pushed into the basket using the handle. Cleaning fluid is squeezed out of the cleaning fringes.
  • a cleaning system with a centrifugal device arranged in the bucket for centrifuging the cleaning fringes of a cleaning device to dryness.
  • the ejection device comprises a basket which can be set in a rotational movement, for example by actuating a foot pedal.
  • the mop head of the cleaning device has a support body, the diameter of which essentially corresponds to the clear width of the basket and therefore practically completely covers the opening of the basket.
  • the cleaning fringes are arranged pressed in the axial direction of the basket between the support body and the bottom of the basket.
  • a centering pin is arranged in the bucket, onto which the mop head can be placed directly to spin dry the cleaning fringes.
  • a foot pedal can be provided as an actuating device or a handle that works like a drill bit.
  • Such a cleaning system does not have a basket.
  • the mop head is set in a rotary motion by means of the actuating device.
  • the cleaning fringes extend in the radial direction away from the support body and the handle in the direction of the boundary wall of the bucket.
  • the spin-drying of the cleaning fringes works sufficiently well.
  • comparatively long cleaning fringes are advantageous in order to be able to clean the largest possible surfaces in a few operations.
  • the cleaning fringes For the cleaning fringes to be spun dry effectively and quickly, it is necessary that they do not touch the bucket's boundary wall surrounding the centering pin during their rotation around the centering pin. Such a contact with the boundary wall of the bucket would have the consequence that the rotation of the mop head would be slowed down undesirably, high forces would be required to maintain the rotation and the spin-drying of the cleaning fringes would therefore only function inadequately.
  • the bucket could have a very large diameter, which is dimensioned in such a way that even long cleaning fringes do not touch the bucket when it is spun dry.
  • such buckets would be undesirably large and would be impractical to handle because of their large volume.
  • the invention is based on the object of further developing a cleaning system of the previously known type in such a way that it has very good performance properties despite its compact dimensions, in particular that In a compact bucket and a compact basket, long cleaning fringes of a cleaning device can first be washed out thoroughly and then spun dry and that the cleaning device has a large wiping area due to comparatively long cleaning fringes during its intended use and therefore large areas can be cleaned quickly and effectively.
  • a cleaning system comprising a bucket and a cleaning device with a mop head, the mop head comprising a support body and cleaning fringes which are fixed on the support body, the support body being connected to a handle on its side facing away from the cleaning fringes, and a washing device arranged in the bucket for washing out the cleaning fringes, comprising a basket which can be set in an upward and downward movement by a first actuating device, and an ejecting device arranged in the bucket for drying the cleaning fringes, comprising the basket which can be set in a rotational movement by a second actuating device , and a centering pin, which is arranged in the basket for centering the cleaning device, the support body being essentially disk-shaped, with a peripheral boundary and with a largest extension d1 between two opposite one another narrowing circumferential areas, wherein the basket is designed to be rotationally symmetrical, with a largest clear first width d2 and wherein a first ratio of d2 to d1 is ⁇
  • the advantage here is that the cleaning system has good usage properties and that the cleaning fringes of the cleaning device in the cleaning system according to the invention can both be thoroughly washed and then effectively and conveniently spun dry.
  • the cleaning device To wash out the cleaning fringes, the cleaning device with its mop head is placed in the basket of the washing device. The basket is lowered as far as possible in the bucket in the cleaning liquid that is taken up in the bucket. In order to be able to wash out the cleaning fringes thoroughly, it is necessary for them to be sufficiently wetted by cleaning fluid during the washing process and to have good mobility relative to one another and, if possible, to be able to swim freely in the cleaning fluid. It would not be expedient to press the cleaning fringes between the support body and the basket relative to one another. The cleaning fringes could no longer be thoroughly washed out due to the no longer existing or at least greatly restricted relative mobility to one another.
  • the ratio of d2 to d1 is ⁇ 1.5.
  • the aforementioned ratio ensures in any case that an annular space remains in the radial direction between the outer circumference of the support body and the circumference of the basket, which is open at the top. While the cleaning fringes are being washed out, they can move relatively freely with respect to one another, and the upwardly open annular space prevents the cleaning fringes from being pressed together and therefore not being able to be washed out sufficiently thoroughly.
  • the basket located deep in the bucket is set in an upward movement by the first actuating device, in such a way that the basket is located above the water level in the bucket.
  • the same basket that was previously part of the washing device now forms part of the centrifuging device.
  • the mop head with the previously washed cleaning fringes is now set in rotation by a second actuating device together with the basket in order to spin dry the cleaning fringes.
  • the cleaning fringes even if they have a greatest radial extent over everything, which is larger than the dimensions of the bucket, are stored in the basket for drying and thus cannot touch the boundary wall of the bucket.
  • the basket can be set in a rapid rotational movement by the second actuating device, so that the cleaning fringes can be spun dry efficiently, ie very largely in a short time.
  • the first ratio is 1.5 to 2.5.
  • the advantage here is that the annular space described above and required for good usage properties during washing is always retained.
  • the first ratio is significantly greater than 2.5, the cleaning device can no longer be thoroughly washed out in an acceptable time because of its very long cleaning fringes.
  • Cleaning fringes protruding radially from the support body have, due to the manufacturing process, a greatest radial extent over all d3, a second ratio of d3 to d2 being> 1.
  • the second ratio is more preferably 1.25 to 1.75.
  • the bucket encloses the basket at a radial distance and, viewed over an axis of rotation of the basket, has a clear second width d4 and that a third ratio of d3 to d4> 1.
  • the third ratio is more preferably 1.25 to 1.75.
  • the second and third ratios are essentially the same. This is particularly the case when the basket has as large a clear first width d2 as possible in order to be able to accommodate a large number of long cleaning fringes without any problems.
  • the first clear width d2 is greatest when it practically corresponds to the second clear width d4 of the bucket. If the third ratio is significantly greater than 1.75, the handling of the cleaning device, as described above, is less than satisfactory because of the very long cleaning fringes.
  • the support body and the basket can delimit a substantially circular ring-shaped annular space, the annular space having a radial width W and a fourth ratio of W to d3 0.25.
  • the fourth ratio is particularly preferably 0.33 to 0.67.
  • the centering mandrel is preferably arranged in the axis of rotation of the basket, the centering mandrel and the basket being non-destructively detachable and connected to one another in a force-fitting and / or form-fitting manner.
  • the basket can be connected to the centering pin, for example, by a latching connection. This locking connection ensures that the height of the basket can be adjusted by the first actuating device by means of the centering pin in the bucket by moving it up and down.
  • the first actuating device can be formed by a lever with at least one joint, the centering pin on the one hand and a first actuating pedal on the other hand being arranged for the joint.
  • the operating pedal can be designed as a foot pedal.
  • the basket can be arranged highest in the bucket and completely above a substantially mean water level in the bucket.
  • the basket inside the bucket is brought into the ejecting position. In order to be able to eject the cleaning device as quickly and effectively as possible, it is useful if the basket for drying the cleaning fringes in the bucket is arranged completely outside the cleaning liquid.
  • the basket When the first actuating device is not actuated, the basket can be arranged lowest in the bucket and at least partially below the essentially mean water level in the bucket. More preferably, when the first actuating device is not actuated, the basket can be arranged in the bucket completely below the essentially mean water level in the bucket.
  • the advantage here is that the mop head and thus also the cleaning fringes are completely immersed in the cleaning liquid when it is washed out. The cleaning fringes are therefore washed out particularly quickly and thoroughly.
  • the second actuating device can be formed by a second actuating pedal and can comprise a transmission for converting a translational movement of the second actuating pedal into a rotary movement of the basket.
  • the first actuation device and the second actuation device can be combined in a common actuation pedal. This also makes handling of the cleaning system easier for the user.
  • the second actuating device can for example comprise a freewheel so that the basket with the mop head arranged therein, once driven, also remains in rotation - at least temporarily - when the actuating pedal is not actuated.
  • the bucket can have a maximum interior height that can be filled with a cleaning liquid, which corresponds essentially to twice the height of the essentially mean water level in the bucket and essentially to twice the height of the basket.
  • a cleaning liquid which corresponds essentially to twice the height of the essentially mean water level in the bucket and essentially to twice the height of the basket.
  • Such proportions have proven to be particularly advantageous because one and the same cleaning system can be used on the one hand to wash out the cleaning fringes and on the other hand to spin dry the cleaning fringes previously washed out in the cleaning liquid.
  • the cleaning fringes are ideally completely immersed in the cleaning liquid when they are washed out. When spinning out, the cleaning fringes to be spun dry then ideally no longer come into contact with the cleaning liquid in the bucket.
  • the cleaning system comprises the bucket 1, which in the exemplary embodiment shown here consists of a polymer material.
  • the cleaning system comprises a cleaning device 2 in the form of a fringe mop, the cleaning device 2 including the mop head 3.
  • the mop head 3 for its part comprises the support body 4 and the cleaning fringes 5, which are fixed on the support body 4.
  • the support body 4 On its side 6 facing away from the cleaning fringes 5, the support body 4 is connected to the handle 7, the handle 7 in this example being connected to the support body 4 by a cardanic joint.
  • the washing device 8 and the centrifuging device 12 are arranged in the bucket 1.
  • the washing device 8 is provided for washing out the cleaning fringes 5.
  • the centrifugal device 12 is provided for centrifuging the cleaning fringes 5 to dryness.
  • a crucial component of both the washing-out device 8 and the centrifuging device 12 is the common basket 11, which as a component of the washing-out device 8 in an upward and downward movement 10 by the first actuation device 9 and in a rotational movement as a component of the ejection device 12 by the second actuation device 13 14 is relocatable.
  • the two actuating devices 9, 13 can, for example, be combined in one structural unit or installed separately from one another.
  • the centering pin 15 is provided for centering both the cleaning device 2 in the basket 11 and for centering the basket 11 in the bucket 1.
  • the following is carried out for the function: To wash out the cleaning fringes 5, the cleaning device 2 with its mop head 3 is inserted into the basket 11 of the washing device 8. The basket 11 is lowered as far as possible in the bucket 1, and indeed completely into the cleaning liquid 28 which is in the bucket 1. In order to be able to wash the cleaning fringes 5 thoroughly, it is necessary for them to have good mobility relative to one another during the washing process and, if possible, to be able to swim freely in the cleaning liquid 28.
  • the first ratio of d2 to d1 ⁇ 1.5 ensures in any case that an annular space 21 remains in the radial direction between the outer circumference of the support body 4 and the circumference of the basket 11 and is open at the top.
  • the previously washed-out cleaning fringes 5 should be centrifuged dry as quickly and thoroughly as possible.
  • the basket 11 is formed by a circular base and by an annular jacket which is connected to the base.
  • the basket 11 is made of the same material, consists of a polymer material and is permeable to water.
  • d1 denotes the diameter of the support body 4, d2 the diameter of the basket 11, d3 the diameter of the cleaning fringes 5, which protrude radially from the support body 4, the radial extent over everything, i.e. from a free end of the cleaning fibers 5 over the support body 4 to the radial opposite free end of the cleaning fibers 5 is measured.
  • d4 denotes the diameter of the bucket 1 in the region of the basket 11, the bucket 1 being essentially oval in shape in the exemplary embodiment shown here.
  • W denotes the radial width of the annular space 21, which is delimited in the radial direction on the inside by the support body 4 and in the radial direction on the outside by the jacket of the basket 11.
  • the first ratio is 1.5 to 2.5
  • the second ratio is 1.25 to 1.75
  • the third ratio is the third ratio.
  • the fourth ratio is approximately 0.5 in the exemplary embodiment shown here.
  • the cleaning fringes 5 are spun dry in the centrifuging device 12, it is advantageous to emphasize that the cleaning fringes 5 do not touch the boundary wall of the bucket because the cleaning fringes 5 are arranged in the basket 11.
  • FIG. 1 the basket 11 is shown with the first actuating device 9 not actuated, the basket 11 and the mop head 3 arranged in the basket 11 being arranged at the lowest and completely below the central water level 25 in the bucket 1.
  • the cleaning fringes float largely freely within the cleaning liquid 28 and are thereby washed out well.
  • the entire cleaning system has a simple and few parts structure, is simple and inexpensive to manufacture, has a relatively low weight, based on the many functionalities, and is easy to handle.
  • Figure 2 is the basket 11 from the Figures 1 and 3 shown as a single part.
  • the basket 11 is a central component of both the washing device 8 and the centrifuging device 12.
  • Reference numeral 20 denotes the axis of rotation and reference numeral 30 the height of the basket 11.
  • the mop head 3 to be used is arranged in the axis of rotation 20 during the intended use of the cleaning system.
