Mechanism as claimed in the preceding claim, characterised in that the flat surface (706) of the second non-toothed sector (702) of the second mobile (7) is shaped such that, if downstream inertia or impact causes said second mobile (7) to rotate when said second non-toothed sector (702) cooperates with the first mobile (52), the flat surface (706) comes to abut against the tooth (523) of the first mobile (52) located between the two non-toothed sectors (521, 522) of said first mobile (52).
  5. Mechanism as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that one tooth (704) of the second mobile (7) immediately adjacent to the first non-toothed sector (701) but not adjacent to the second non-toothed sector (702) of said second mobile (7) is truncated such that the first mobile (52) can pivot without driving the second mobile (7), and that one of the teeth (520) of the first mobile (52) can leave the first non-toothed sector (701) of the second mobile (7) without driving same.
  6. Mechanism as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first mobile (52) is fixedly attached to the date mobile (5).
  7. Timepiece characterised in that it comprises a mechanism for displaying the date as claimed in any one of the preceding claims.
