Description

The invention relates to a blanket, in particular a quilt, with a (completely) closed, textile cover and a filling arranged in the cover, the cover having two outer layers sewn together and along an outer seam, the outer layers consisting of a first, mite-allergen-proof nonwoven.

In the context of the invention, filling means in particular a filling fleece which, for. B. is made of synthetic fibers and in conventional quilts in the textile cover, d. H. sewn between the outer layers. The cover is a cover that is completely closed over the entire circumference, which is consequently designed without an opening, zip fastener or the like and is consequently non-replaceably connected to the filling. The term "cover" is therefore to be distinguished from separate bed linen.

While conventional blankets, especially quilts, usually covers with outer layers of a fabric such. B. cotton fabric, the invention relates to a cover in which the cover is made of a non-woven (allergen-proof) and consequently a non-woven material. The background is the widespread problem of the so-called "house dust allergy", an allergic reaction in humans caused by the faeces of house dust mites, which live in house dust and feed in particular on dander. The invention consequently relates to a blanket, in particular a quilt, with a mite-allergen-tight, ie mite-tight and mite excrement-tight cover that is made from outer layers of a nonwoven fabric.

Such mite allergen-tight nonwovens are known from practice, they are z. B. sold by Karl Freudenberg KG under the product name Evolon ® . It is a nonwoven fabric that is spun from continuous filaments, i.e. bicomponent filaments in the spunbond process. The continuous filaments, which are made from a large number of segments in a so-called PIE structure, are split under high water pressure and then swirled and solidified. The bicomponent fibers used consist of segments, e.g. B. on the one hand polyester and on the other hand polyamide. In practice z. B. special references ("encasings") provided that are used in conjunction with conventional blankets, mattresses or the like as a sort of protective cover and are washable separately. Disadvantages of such solutions are, on the one hand, the complex handling and, on the other hand, the comfort that is not always satisfactory.

Products for the sleeping area (sleeping linen, sleepwear) based on microfilament nonwovens with a high particle retention capacity are also used e.g. B. in the DE 199 62 313 C1 and the DE 199 62 357 A1 described.

From the EP 3 165 654 A1 the use of a nonwoven made of continuous filaments to prevent down from escaping from a textile product filled with down is also known, the nonwoven being obtainable in a spinning process in which composite filaments are laid down to form a nonwoven, after which the composite filaments are converted into continuous filaments with a linear density of <0 15 dtex are split and the nonwoven is mechanically bonded to form a nonwoven fabric, the nonwoven fabric not being thermally or chemically bonded.

A quilt with a barrier effect for dust mite feces is also from the DE 196 54 798 A1 known. It consists of a flexible, air-permeable cover system, which has an inner cover and an outer cover, with the inner cover material containing at least one fiber layer which is highly air-permeable on the one hand and highly active in capturing small particles with a particle size of approx. 0.5 µ to approx 3µ is . The inner shell should be held inseparably in the outer shell by both shells covering seams. While the restraining effect on allergenic particles is important when selecting the inner cover material, the outer cover material should be characterized above all by its clinging properties, so that it should be made of a light cotton fabric in particular.

Also describes the DE 203 10 279 U1 a duvet with a cover made of a down- and mite-proof textile material, the textile material consisting of an air- and vapor-permeable, allergen-retaining microfiber fleece. The filaments of the microfiber fleece should have a thickness of less than 0.6 dtex and z. B. consist of polyester and / or polyamide, wherein the microfiber fleece should preferably have a basis weight of 100 g / m 2 .

The publication JP 11187954A describes a blanket with a quilted core, which is additionally surrounded by an outer cover. The individual layers are thermally welded to one another on the outer circumference, so that thermal weldability must be taken into account when selecting the material. In addition, an edging can be sewn on later.

Based on this, the JP 2003164362 A a quilt with a quilted core and an outer cover that is made in a special way is produced without welded joints and without a separate edging tape.

For this purpose, the respective construction is sewn and turned over step by step in the course of production, so that a dense structure without binding can be realized afterwards.

Proceeding from the previously known state of the art, the invention is based on the object of creating a blanket, in particular a quilt, which is characterized both by a high retention capacity for mite allergens and by a high degree of comfort.

In order to solve this problem, the invention teaches, in the case of a blanket of the generic type, in particular a quilt, of the type described at the outset that the cover—in addition to the outer layers already described—has two inner layers sewn together along an inner seam, with the inner layers each being arranged between the filling and the outer layer and consist of a second anti-mite allergen-proof non-woven fabric. According to the invention, it is provided that the second non-woven fabric differs from the first anti-mite allergen-proof non-woven fabric of the outer layers, namely with regard to the weight per unit area.

The invention is based on the finding that a blanket, in particular a quilt, with a textile cover with a particularly high retention capacity for mite allergens, e.g. B. mite droppings, create by the filling, z. B. a padding made of synthetic fibers, first sewn between two inner layers and optionally quilted, these inner layers already consist of a mite allergen-proof nonwoven. There is the possibility of these inner layers not only on the peripheral side with a Sew inner seam together and with the filling, but the inner layers can also be quilted with the filling to form several chambers, so that slipping of the filling within the shell or tearing during washing is reliably avoided. According to the invention, the retention capacity for mite allergens, which is reduced to a certain extent by such a quilting, is taken into account in that, in addition to the two inner layers (as the inner shell), two outer layers (as the outer shell) made of nonwoven fabric that is also impermeable to mite allergens are provided, these outer layers only being connected to one another and along an outer seam If necessary, sewn to the inner layers and the filling, but without additional quilting being provided in the area of the outer layers. It is particularly preferably within the scope of the invention that different anti-mite allergen-proof nonwovens are used for the inner layers on the one hand and the outer layers on the other hand, which are preferably made of the same material but with different basis weights. The first nonwoven (of the outer layers) preferably has a higher surface weight than the second nonwoven (of the inner layers).

According to a further proposal of the invention, which is of independent importance, in the case of a quilt, in particular a quilt, of the type described above with at least outer layers made of mite-allergen-proof nonwoven fabric, the outer seam is covered on both sides with a edging tape surrounding the outer layers on the peripheral side, which is also made of a mite-allergen-proof material non-woven material and is sewn to the two outer layers (and optionally the filling non-woven material arranged between them) along a binding seam. The invention is based on the finding that the retention capacity of a shell made of mite-allergen-tight nonwoven fabric can be significantly increased if the outer seam is covered with a additional edging tape, which also consists of a mite-allergen-proof non-woven material. Such an edging tape is particularly preferably used in a blanket, in particular a quilt, in which the cover has not only the outer layers described, but also the inner layers also described. In this case, the edging tape covers both the (circumferential) outer seam and the inner seam and the edging tape made of the mite-allergenic nonwoven is sewn to both the two outer layers and the two inner layers and, if necessary, to the filling fleece arranged in between. In this case, the edging particularly preferably consists of the first mite-allergen-proof non-woven material, ie of the same non-woven material as the outer layers.

The outer layers described and optionally the inner layers (and optionally the edging tape), which are used within the scope of the invention for the production of the closed, textile cover, can consist of known nonwovens. It can in particular be such nonwovens that are sold by Freudenberg under the product name Evolon ® or those z. B. in the EP 3 165 654 A1 , DE 199 62 357 A1 or DE 199 62 313 C1 to be discribed. The focus of the invention is therefore not the further development of the known nonwovens, but rather their use within a specially equipped blanket.

B. Kleber) verzichtet. The first non-woven fabric (for the outer layers and optionally the edging tape) and/or the second non-woven fabric (for the inner layers) is preferably a non-woven fabric made from endless filaments. Such continuous filaments are particularly preferably used in the embodiment as composite filaments, in particular bicomponent fibers. It can be z. B. composite filaments (especially bicomponent fibers) act with a so-called "PIE structure", which is also referred to as "pie-shaped" and consists of e.g. B. 16, 24 or 32 segments. The production of the nonwoven z. B. in a spinning process in which the composite filaments are deposited to form a fleece, after which the composite filaments are split into the individual continuous filaments and the fleece (preferably exclusively mechanically) is consolidated into a nonwoven fabric. In doing so, e.g. B. done a first solidification by a needling process and / or a calendering process. Preferably (e.g. following a needling process and/or a calendering process), consolidation is carried out by a water jet process. In this water jet process, the continuous filaments are split into individual segments (e.g. 32 or 16) and consolidated into a non-woven fabric. Due to the extremely high water pressure and the resulting friction, the fleece is finally solidified, preferably exclusively by mechanical solidification. Consequently, it is particularly preferred to dispense with thermal bonding and chemical bonding and in particular with additives (e.g. adhesives).

As multi-component fibers, e.g. B. bi-component fibers, those are preferably used, which consist of polyester on the one hand and polyamide on the other hand, the proportion of the polyester component z. B. 60% to 80%, preferably (about) 70% and the proportion of the polyamide component z. 20% to 40%, preferably (about) 30%.

In the embodiment according to the invention with a first non-woven fabric and a second non-woven fabric, the first non-woven fabric has a higher basis weight than the second non-woven fabric.

B. etwa 40 g/m2 aufweisen.The first non-woven fabric can have a basis weight of 50 to 150 g/m 2 , preferably 80 to 120 g/m 2 , e.g. B. about 100 g / m 2 . The second Non-woven fabric can have a basis weight of 20 to 60 g/m 2 , preferably 30 to 50 g/m 2 , e.g. B. about 40 g / m 2 have.

It is within the scope of the invention to use different continuous filaments for the first nonwoven fabric and the second nonwoven fabric, e.g. B. for the first nonwoven continuous filaments of 32 segments and for the second nonwoven continuous filaments of 16 segments.

The fineness (denier) of the (split) continuous filaments is preferably less than 0.1 dtex, z. B. 0.08 dtex or less.

The nonwovens described, which are known in principle from practice and which are used according to the invention, are distinguished by particularly good properties for the purpose according to the invention. They are particle-tight and mite-tight, i. H. especially tight against mites. The non-woven fabric is breathable and is characterized by excellent moisture management. So he can z. B. absorb up to 350 times its own weight in liquid. The moisture from this liquid is deposited in the cavities between the individual continuous filaments. The material dries quickly and due to the preferred material composition (e.g. 70% polyester, 30% polyamide), moisture or liquids do not penetrate into the interior of the fiber, but are deposited in the cavities of the individual segments, so that a Evaporation and thus drying can take place more quickly.

According to the invention, these nonwovens are used in a special way to create a blanket, in particular a quilt, which is characterized on the one hand by high comfort and on the other hand by excellent protection against the penetration of allergenic particles, especially mite excrement. So a blanket, in particular a quilt, is created that can be used in a conventional manner with a classic duvet cover without having to use the special covers for allergy sufferers that are otherwise used in practice.

According to a first aspect of the invention, it is advantageous to use the inner layers on the one hand and the outer layers on the other hand, because in this way there is the possibility of quilting the inner layers in a conventional manner with the filling fleece arranged in between, so that the inner layers are not just over the outer circumferential Edge seams, but are also connected to each other and to the filling fleece via inner quilting seams, so that a perfect position of the filling fleece is maintained and tearing of the filling fleece is avoided. However, since weak points in terms of allergen impermeability can arise during the course of the quilting due to the seams, the outer layers are provided, which, however - apart from the outer seam - are expressly dispensed with an additional quilting. Particularly preferably, the outer seam runs outside the inner seam in a plan view of the blanket--relative to the center point of the blanket--i.e. H. the inner, quilted construction is completely absorbed in the area bordered by the outer seam, so that a high level of allergen resistance is achieved.

According to a second aspect of the invention (which can be combined with the first aspect), the use of the edging is of particular importance, with the edging seam in a plan view of the blanket - relative to the center of the blanket - within the inner seam and / or within the outer seam runs. Consequently, in a particularly preferred embodiment, the edging tape is used to fix the previously in the arrangement of the outer layers and, if necessary, the seams created by the inner layers are completely enclosed, so that a high degree of allergen resistance is achieved.

Overall, a duvet is created which is basically designed as a quilt with fiberfill and in which the fleece is quilted preferably via the inner layers without this quilting being visible from the outside, since the outer layers are not quilted for the reasons explained. It is also interesting that the clinging behavior, i. H. the suppleness and thus the comfort is surprisingly improved after the blanket has been washed several times, without the allergen impermeability suffering as a result.

Such a ceiling according to the invention can, for. B. with the following procedure:
First, the two inner layers are sewn together and with the filling fleece and preferably quilted, namely z. B. in a needle quilting frame. The two outer layers are then sewn together with the previously produced quilted bed (inner layers plus filling fleece) interposed, preferably through the inner layers and the filling fleece. This can e.g. B. the quilt previously produced in a needle-quilting frame can be unclamped and then a first outer layer can be clamped into a needle-quilting frame. The quilt previously made from the inner layers and the filling fleece is then laid on and clamped in again. Then the second outer layer is clamped and then the outer seam is created in the sense of "edge quilting" for fixation. Then, in a preferred development, the "bed-in-cover" cover produced in this way is stretched out and then, optionally, the particularly preferred binding with the edging tape takes place.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to a drawing that merely shows an exemplary embodiment. Show it
1
in a greatly simplified representation of a quilt according to the invention and
2
a seam diagram of the quilt Fig.1 .

In the figures, a blanket is shown in the embodiment as a quilt, which is characterized by an allergen-proof and consequently mite excrement-proof cover 1 . The blanket consists of a completely closed textile cover 1 and a filling 2 arranged in the cover, which is designed as a filling fleece (e.g. made of synthetic fibers). The shell 1 is multi-layered in the exemplary embodiment and is formed by the outer layers 4a, 4b and the inner layers 6a, 6b, the inner layers 6a, 6b being arranged between the filling 2 and the outer layers 4a, 4b.

The inner layers 6a, 6b of the cover 1 are sewn to one another and to the filling fleece 2 along a (circumferential) inner seam 5 . In addition, in the exemplary embodiment, the inner layers 6a, 6b are quilted by means of quilting seams 9 to form a plurality of chambers. The outer layers 4a, 4b are sewn together along a (circumferential) outer seam 3 with the inner layers 6a, 6b and the filling fleece 2 being interposed.

The outer layers 4a, 4b consist of a first, mite allergen-proof nonwoven. The inner layers 6a, 6b consist of a second, mite-allergen-proof nonwoven, which differs from the first nonwoven in terms of its weight per unit area.

The inner shell formed by the inner layers 6a, 6b, which is quilted with the filling fleece 2, already forms a barrier against the penetration of allergenic particles, in particular mite excrement, and at the same time a bond with the filling fleece 2 is achieved through the quilting, so that slipping and / or tearing of the filling fleece 2 is avoided. The outer shell consisting of the outer layers 4a, 4b supplements the protection against the penetration of allergenic particles in a particularly reliable manner, since the outer layers only have an "edge quilting" by means of the outer seam 3 without additional "inner" quilting.

In addition, a binding tape 7 is provided on the peripheral edge of the blanket, which wraps around the edges of the blanket and consequently covers the outer seam 3 on both sides, with this binding tape 7 also consisting of a mite allergen-proof nonwoven material, e.g. B. from the same nonwoven fabric as the outer layers 4a, 4b. The edging tape 7 is sewn along a edging seam 8 to the two outer layers 4a, 4b and to the inner layers 6a, 6b and the filling fleece 2 arranged between them.

In 1 the inner quilting of the inner layers 6a, 6b is indicated, since this is not visible from the outside due to the outer layers 4a, 4b arranged above it.

In the seam diagram 2 is also recognizable that the outer seam 3 in a plan view of the ceiling - based on the center
  • outside the inner seam 5 runs. It can also be seen that the edging seam 8 in a plan view of the ceiling - based on its center
  • runs within the inner seam 5 and also within the outer seam 3, that is, the edge strip 8 summarizes the previously produced outer seams 3 and Inner seams 5 completely in, so that the penetration of allergenic particles into the blanket is reliably avoided.
