Description
The present invention relates to a flat mop, in particular disposable flat mop, and the use of the flat mop for clean room cleaning.
Cleaning companies regularly use flat mops to clean floors. Here, single-layer as well as multi-layer flat mop systems are used. While little consideration has to be given to the selection of the material, the type of production and the structural design for conventional cleaning purposes, a very demanding profile of properties is reliably to be ensured for flat mops which are to be used in clean room cleaning, in particular sterile clean room cleaning. The cleaning of clean rooms must be done in such a way that the risk of contamination can be excluded, but at the same time a high cleaning performance is guaranteed. This requirement profile generally entails complex production and the use of high-quality or specially selected materials. For ecological reasons as well as for cost reasons, so far mostly reusable flat mops are used in the cleaning of clean rooms. Known flat mops are essentially flat and have an elongated shape. They have on the cover sheet side attachment means for a flat mop holder. Often, terminal pockets attached to a right-sided cover sheet side are used. In general, the reusable mop is moistened by complete or partial immersion in a container filled with liquid. This usually requires the use of a cleaning cart comprising at least two or more receptacles.

A particular challenge in the development of flat mop systems for clean rooms is the degree of cleaning to be achieved combined with a controlled supply of disinfectant and / or cleaning liquids for the purpose of optimum humidification. If the flat mop is not adequately soaked or moistened, there is often no continuous liquid film formed on the surface to be cleaned. There is no complete disinfection or cleaning. On the other hand, if too much liquid is added to the mop when soaking, there is a risk that dirt particles will not be absorbed by or held in the fiber structure of the cleaning surface. In addition, the cleaning layer not only has to take in all microparticles and not re-release, but also to ensure that any dirt particles are removed from the substrate to be cleaned, absorbed in the cleaning layer and not released again.
The present invention therefore an object of the invention to overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a flat mop available, which always ensures a high cleaning power in addition to the reliable and controlled humidification in particular of clean room areas. Besides, it is a task, a Flat mop can be provided, which can also be used with conventional flat mop holders and humidification systems.
Accordingly, a flat mop, in particular a disposable flat mop, has been found having a topsheet layer and an opposing cleaning layer having a first edge and an opposing second edge, the cleaning layer comprising a woven, knitted or knitted layer having a front and a back side consisting of microfiber material and fibrous material which is not microfiber material (non-microfiber material), comprising or presenting and wherein the topsheet layer comprises or comprises a consolidated nonwoven material, in particular comprising or consisting of polyester fibers, the front side and possibly the back of the cleaning layer being alternating, in particular have substantially parallel, first and second strip-shaped areas extending from or spaced from the first edge in the direction of the second edge or to the second edge, wherein the first areas of the cleaning layer front and esp special also predominantly, in particular substantially exclusively, woven, knitted or knitted microfiber material or consist thereof and wherein the second areas of the cleaning layer predominantly on the front, in particular substantially exclusively, woven, knitted or knitted non-microfiber material, i. Fiber material that does not contain or consist of microfiber material.
In the context of the invention, microfibers are generally very fine fibers with a fineness of less than or equal to 1.5 denier. Particularly suitable for the purposes of the present invention are those microfibers having a fineness of less than or equal to 1.0 denier, preferably less than or equal to 1 dtex and in particular in the range of 0.3 dtex to 0.8 dtex.
The microfiber material and in particular the endless microfibers are advantageously distinguished by the fact that they are hard-wearing and dimensionally stable. Microfibres as well as synthetic chemical fibers regularly emit far fewer particles than conventional natural fibers. Microfibers generally comprise ultrafine fibers which are better able to penetrate into very small surface imperfections where they can also absorb very small particles, for example in the micrometer range. The mentioned in this application Microfibre materials generally absorb only little water, are generally relatively break-resistant and preferably have a high dimensional stability and good chemical and thermal resistance.
The mean fineness of the fibers of the non-microfiber material is always above the average fineness of the fibers of the microfiber material used in the flat mop according to the invention. The absolute fineness of the fibers of the non-microfiber material is preferably always above the absolute fineness of the fibers of the microfiber material used in the flat mop according to the invention.
Such flat mops according to the invention also very particularly solve the object underlying the invention, in which the first areas of the cleaning layer predominantly, in particular substantially exclusively, contain woven or knitted or microfiber material and in which the second areas of the cleaning layer predominantly, in particular substantially exclusively, woven, knitted or knitted non-microfiber material and predominantly, in particular substantially exclusively, woven, knitted or knitted microfibrous material on the front, or consisting thereof. With these embodiments, a particularly good and in particular even more uniform liquid distribution succeeds.
The second strip-shaped areas are due to their greater hardness or stiffness compared to the first strip-shaped areas particularly suitable to solve adhering dirt particles. These second strip-shaped areas take on a brush function or a brush-like function.
The shape or geometry of the strip-shaped first and second areas can be selected within wide ranges. Preferably, the first and second strip-shaped areas are in the form of longitudinal strips extending from or spaced from the first edge toward the second edge or to the second edge, preferably from the first to the opposite second edge. In an expedient embodiment, the first and / or second areas assume a substantially rectangular basic shape. If the flat mop according to the invention is in a substantially rectangular basic shape, the first and the second edge regularly form the narrow sides of this basic shape out. The strip-shaped areas preferably extend in the form of longitudinal strips substantially parallel to the longitudinal sides of the substantially rectangular basic shape. The mean width of the first and / or second strip-shaped areas, in particular in the form of longitudinal strips, ie the extent substantially parallel to the first and / or second edge, is usually in the range of 0.3 cm to 4 cm, preferably in the range of 0 , 5 cm to 3 cm, and more preferably in the range of 0.75 cm to 1.5 cm. If the first and / or second areas are in the form of longitudinal strips, their width represents the distance between the opposing longitudinal strips.
The first and second strip-shaped areas are particularly preferably an integral part of a woven, knitted or knitted fabric. Particularly preferably, the first and second strip-shaped areas, in particular also in the above-mentioned embodiment, adjoin each other directly or merge into one another.
The cleaning layer is within the meaning of the present invention on that side of the flat mop, which comes into contact with the surface to be cleaned during the cleaning process. This page is also called front of the flat mop. By virtue of the fact that the flat mop according to the invention has a knitted, knitted or woven layer on its front side, the cleaning surface is provided with an irregular surface structure or three-dimensionality, for example in contrast to the smooth surface of a tensioned cleaning cloth. The cleaning layer is accordingly part of the front or forms this. The cleaning layer itself can be subdivided into a front and a back surface or sections. On the front side, the cleaning layer in the generic use comes into contact with the surface to be cleaned. The cleaning layer, however, faces the back side of the cover sheet or the intermediate layer.
The cover sheet is within the meaning of the present invention on the front side opposite side of the flat mop invention. This page is also called the back of the flat mop. The cover sheet is accordingly part of the back or forms them. The topsheet layer comprises or is formed from a consolidated web. The solidification of fiber materials is known to the person skilled in the art and can be carried out, for example, by water-jet treatment. Preferably, the nonwoven material of the cover sheet is made of polyester fibers. Alternatively, the nonwoven material of Cover sheet also include polyolefin fibers, in particular polypropylene fibers, or consist thereof. Furthermore, fiber blends can be used for the nonwoven material of the topsheet layer, for example containing or consisting of polyester and polypropylene fibers. In particular, when using polyester fibers has surprisingly been found that the topsheet layer is very resistant to abrasion and pronounced resistance to gamma radiation. Also, using polyester fibers for the consolidated web of the topsheet layer, very strong and rigid systems can be obtained. By using the described cover sheet layer combined with the described cleaning layer containing the described alternately successive strip-shaped areas can also be achieved, inter alia, that it does not come to a so-called curling or deformation of the cleaning layer during the cleaning process with stem and mop holder.
The cover sheet layer is provided on the back usually with two engaging pockets which are spaced apart from each other, so that a flat mop holder can engage in these engaging pockets. The flat mop according to the invention is regularly present in a rectangular basic shape. It can be provided in one embodiment that the two engaging pockets are mounted opposite each other on the narrow sides.
Such flat mops according to the invention solve the problem underlying the invention particularly well, in which the fibers of the non-microfiber material have a greater rigidity or hardness than the fibers of the microfiber material.
Particularly suitable fibers of the microfiber material are selected from the group consisting of polyamide microfibers, polyolefin microfibers and polyester microfibers or any mixture thereof. Among the polyolefin microfibers, polypropylene microfibers are particularly preferred. Among the polyester microfibers, preference is given to polyethylene terephthalate microfibers.
Alternatively or additionally, split conjugated microfibers, in particular polyamide / polyester microfibers, can also be used for the cleaning layer. Of the conjugated microfibers, those whose polyester fiber content is in the range of 60 to 90% by weight, in particular in the range of 65 to 85% by weight, and their content of polyamide fibers in the range of 10 to 40% by weight are particularly useful. %, in particular in the range of 15 to 35 wt .-%, is located.
Through the use of microfibre material for the cleaning layer, the contamination of clean rooms by fiber residues or so-called lint can be avoided particularly efficiently.
It has proven particularly useful to use polyester fibers for the fibers of the non-fiber material. Here, polyethylene terephthalate fibers are particularly preferred.
Suitable flat mops according to the invention or the cleaning layer of such flat mops generally have a rectangular basic shape, wherein the first and the second edge are arranged opposite one another. The first and / or the second edge generally have a rectilinear course. Such flat mops according to the invention have proved particularly expedient in which the first and / or second strip-shaped areas extend essentially at right angles to the first and / or second edge.
In order to be able to provide a flat mop which can be used independently of the cleaning or moistening unit and ready for use, it has proved to be advantageous for the cover sheet ply to be permeable on both sides to disinfecting and / or cleaning liquids. It can also be provided here that the flat mop is configured in such a way that the cleaning layer with the disinfectant and / or cleaning liquids is impregnable or wettable by passing through the cover sheet side disinfecting and / or cleaning liquid. A particularly suitable disinfectant for clean room cleaning and for the cleaning of sterile rooms is an aqueous alcoholic system, e.g. containing 70% by volume of i-propanol and 30% by volume of water.
The use of at least one, in particular two, present on the cover sheet layer or attached engagement pockets for a flat mop holder of the flat mop invention can be used with all conventional cleaning systems in the rule. This engaging pocket or these engaging pockets can be formed by folding over one or more edge sections of the flat mop, so that the material of the cover sheet layer comes into abutment in the area of the engagement pocket or engagement pockets. It can also be provided that the folded-over edge portions along their peripheral edges under formation of the engaging pocket connected to each other, in particular sewn present.
In a further preferred embodiment, the flat mop according to the invention further comprises at least one middle intermediate layer, arranged between the cleaning layer and the cover sheet layer, of an unconsolidated nonwoven material or of a foam material. If an unconsolidated nonwoven material is used for the at least one intermediate layer, it is preferable to resort to needled nonwovens. The unconsolidated nonwoven material is preferably based on staple fibers, in particular those having a mean length in the range of 20 mm to 80 mm, preferably in the range of 30 mm to 70 mm and particularly preferably in the range of 40 mm to 60 mm.
In the flat mop according to the invention, in a particularly suitable embodiment, both the intermediate layer and the topsheet layer are in the form of fleece, wherein the intermediate layer preferably comprises unconsolidated nonwoven material and the topsheet layer has consolidated nonwoven material or is formed therefrom. Non-bonded nonwoven material in the sense of the present invention comprises those which are obtained directly in nonwoven production, including needled webs. Needle nonwovens are generally non-bonded nonwoven material which has been needled.
Suitable nonwoven materials include, in particular, those of manmade fibers, e.g. from natural polymers such as viscose fiber nonwoven fabric, from synthetic fibers made from synthetic polymers or from chemical fibers made from mineral substances. Suitable manmade fibers of synthetic polymers include, in addition to polyester nonwovens, polyolefin nonwoven fabrics such as polypropylene and polyethylene nonwovens, nonwoven polyamide fabrics, and aramid nonwoven fabrics. Suitable man-made fibers of mineral materials include, for example, non-woven fiberglass and carbon fiber non-woven fabrics. For the nonwoven material of the intermediate layer, polyethylene terephthalate fibers are preferably used, these not having to be in the form of microfibers on a regular basis. Nevertheless, it is also possible to resort to polyester microfibers for the nonwoven material of the intermediate layer, for example polyethylene terephthalate microfibers.
Besonders geeignete Spinnvliese stellen verfestigte Spinnvliese dar, beispielsweise Wasserstrahlverfestigte Spinnvliese. Diese können zusätzlich auch kalandriert worden sein. The topsheet layer is based on a spunbonded material in an expedient embodiment. It has proven to be sufficient for many applications to design the cover sheet single layer. Spun nonwovens are well known to those skilled in the art. They are generally obtained from fibers spun from polymer melt passing through nozzles and drawn by cold air and / or mechanically drawn. These fibers are then usually formed directly into a spunbonded or form after solidification of this spunbonded nonwoven. Spunbonded fabrics are generally based on continuous fibers. Particularly suitable spunbonded nonwovens are solidified spunbonded nonwovens, for example spunbond nonwoven spunbonded with water jet. These may additionally have been calendered.
In general, the cleaning layer and the cover sheet layer and optionally the intermediate layer are connected to one another along their peripheral edges, in particular sewn together. This gives particularly fluff-proof or lint-free flat mops according to the invention. Particularly preferably, the front-side layer and the backsheet, as well as possibly the intermediate layer, are connected to each other along their peripheral edges by means of overlock sewing methods. With an overlock sewing machine, the edge of one or more fabrics can be sewn. With the overlock sewing method can very clean edges are obtained. Also, fabrics or nets laid on both sides over the edge course can be connected to the layer material to be sewn by means of the overlock method. It succeeds with the overlock a very reliable and dense edge termination, so that it can be ensured that between the cleaning layer and cover sheet position edged interlayer material does not escape to the outside.
In an expedient embodiment, the sewing of the edges of cleaning and cover sheet layer and optionally intermediate layer (s), in particular by means of overlock method, can be used to use a colored sewing thread, in this way to achieve product identification or coding.
Conveniently, the cleaning layer and the cover sheet layer and possibly the intermediate layer add over a substantially identical basic shape, so that they, when they are on top of each other, reach each other to cover. In a further alternative embodiment variant, the expansion of the intermediate layer is slightly smaller than that of the front layer and the back layer, so that when sewing the three layers, the intermediate layer is completely enclosed by the abutting and sewn-together edge strips of front and back layer and preferably nevertheless still connected to these, in particular sewn.
For many cleaning applications, it has proven to be sufficient or particularly appropriate to resort to such flat mops according to the invention, in which the cleaning layer over an average thickness of at least 0.5 mm or in the range of 0.5 mm to 5.0 mm, preferably from at least 1.0 mm or in the range of 1.0 mm to 4.5 mm, and more preferably of at least 1.5 mm or in the range of 0.5 mm to 5.0 mm. If an intermediate layer is used, its average thickness is advantageously in the range of 0.5 mm to 10 mm, preferably in the range of 1.0 mm to 8 mm and particularly preferably in the range of 2.0 to 5 mm.
The cleaning layer and the cover sheet layer and, if present, also the intermediate layer are in an expedient embodiment in addition to the connection along the overlapping edges also connected in particular between the longitudinal edges together, preferably one or a plurality of spaced apart extending seams In order to achieve the object on which the present invention is based, it has proven to be expedient for at least two, in particular at least three or four, first and second strip-shaped areas to be present on the cleaning side of the cleaning system, which follow one another alternately. In the case of the alternating successive strip-shaped areas (n + 1), particular preference is given to first strip-shaped areas and n second strip-shaped areas, where n is an integer greater than or equal to 2. In particular, n is equal to 2, 3, 4 or 5. In a likewise preferred embodiment, it is provided that at least one second strip-shaped area, in particular at least two or all second strip-shaped areas, in the alternating sequence of first and second strip-shaped areas on both sides of a first strip-shaped area is bordered or adjacent to both sides or is limited by a first strip-shaped area. In this way, both a comprehensive and uniform wetting of the surface to be cleaned with cleaning fluid as well as a high cleaning performance including reliable absorption of the dissolved from the surface dirt particles can be achieved.
The flat mops according to the invention can be used for the purification of clean rooms or sterile clean rooms. Here, in principle, the multiple use in question. It can be provided in a variant that the flat mop in a first, unused condition for the cleaning of clean rooms and then in a washed and / or decontaminated, second state for the cleaning of rooms that are not clean rooms, is used. In the latter case one could then speak of a so-called reusable flat mop. With regard to clean room cleaning, the flat mop according to the invention is preferably used as a disposable flat mop. For the purposes of the present invention, clean room should be understood as meaning a room in which the number and size of the particles in the ambient air is controlled. Clean rooms are classified according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 in nine classes (ISO 1-9), whereby each class provides for specific limits for particle size and number. For example, a flat mop, which should be suitable for a clean room of
The object underlying the invention is further solved by a cleaning device, comprising an actuating element, in particular a handle, and, connected or connectable with the actuating element, a flat mop holder and a flat mop according to the invention.
The present invention was based on the surprising finding that cost-effective cleaning systems can be obtained by means of multilayer flat mops according to the invention, which are well suited for clean-room cleaning. With the invention, an economically and ecologically advantageous access to flat mops is possible, which can be used in particular as disposable flat mops for clean room cleaning. The flat mops according to the invention are in the clean room cleaning qualitatively at least the same height as conventional reusable flat mop systems for clean room cleaning. A particular advantage associated with the use of the flat mops according to the invention is the fact that a very high cleaning performance is achieved. In particular, residues adhering to the surface to be cleaned can not only be removed with the flat mop according to the invention, but also immediately absorbed by the microfibers. For example, with the flat mop according to the invention, it is readily possible to remove dried-on cleaning agent residues remaining on the surface again. Without being bound by theory, it is believed that the combination of alternating strip-like areas of microfiber material and non-microfiber material for pronounced soil removal paired with a very good Schmutzpartikelaufhahme and a very good soil retention capacity contribute to the advantageous effect of the invention flat mop. With the flat mops according to the invention, e.g. Particles in the micrometer range are absorbed and held very efficiently. In addition, the user perceives the smooth-running guidance of the flat mop according to the invention as being particularly positive. The otherwise observed in flat mops with a continuous cleaning layer of microfiber material "solid eyes" on the surface to be cleaned is no longer observed. Furthermore, with the flat mop according to the invention, a lower load on bacterial cultures can be achieved by an accelerated drying process.
