Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a closure for a drinking bottle, in particular a closure that is easy to clean.
  • Closures for drinking bottles are well known from the prior art and are used in the leisure and sports sectors. Such closures are arranged in the lid of a drinking bottle and can release or close an opening in the lid when actuated. Because the drink has to pass through the closure in order to get to the opening, the closure is wetted by the drink. However, the conventional closures are difficult to clean or require increased installation effort.
  • One object of the present invention is to provide a lid for a drinking bottle that includes a closure that is easy to clean.
  • a lid with a closure having the features of claim 1. Further embodiments of the lid with such a closure, and a drinking bottle with such a lid are defined by the features of further claims.
  • a lid according to the invention comprising a closure, for a drinking bottle is defined by the features of claim 1.
  • the closure of the lid comprises a fastening element for the detachable arrangement of the closure on the lid of the drinking bottle, a prestressed pivoting element which is arranged on the fastening element such that it can be pivoted away from it about a pivot axis, a seal which is arranged on a pivoting end of the pivoting element, the fastening element having a first Bracing element, a second bracing element and a spring, wherein the two bracing elements are arranged linearly displaceable in one direction on one another and the spring is arranged in the direction of displacement between the two bracing elements.
  • the two bracing elements can be easily pressed together, which means that the closure can be easily removed from the lid.
  • the closure forms an easily removable unit which is easy to clean.
  • the bracing elements and the pivoting element can be made of a food-grade, heat-resistant plastic, such as polypropylene.
  • these elements can be injection molded parts that are produced in one piece.
  • the seal may be detachably formed at the pivoting end of the pivot member or it may be integrally formed together with the pivot member.
  • the seal can be made of a food grade silicone, a food grade TPE or TPR.
  • each of the two bracing elements includes a latching element, which together prevent the two bracing elements from being able to be separated from one another in the displacement direction.
  • the components of the closure thus form an inseparable unit, which means that no parts can get lost, for example when cleaning the closure.
  • the latching elements can be designed in such a way that they cannot be separated from one another without being destroyed, or they can be designed in such a way that the latching elements can be separated from one another by applying force in a direction perpendicular to the direction of displacement, as a result of which the bracing elements can be separated from one another.
  • the latching elements can be formed together in one piece with the other elements of the bracing elements.
  • one of the latching elements is a recess and the other of the latching elements is a tab with a latching lug and the tab can be displaced in the displacement direction up to the stop on the latching lug in the recess.
  • the recess is dimensioned in such a way that the tab with the locking lug can be easily inserted.
  • a bevel can be provided on the side of the locking lug directed towards the free end of the tab.
  • the detent can extend over the entire width of the tab. A partial extension is also possible.
  • a bevel can be provided, which facilitates the insertion of the locking lug.
  • the recess can at first Bracing element can be formed and the tab with the detent on the second bracing element or vice versa.
  • the first bracing element comprises at least one guide bar and the second bracing element comprises at least one guide groove, the at least one guide bar being displaceable in the displacement direction in the at least one guide groove.
  • the guide web can be formed on the first bracing element and the guide groove on the second bracing element or vice versa. The web and the guide groove can be formed together in one piece with the other elements of the bracing elements.
  • the first bracing element comprises two guide webs facing one another and the second bracing element comprises two guide grooves facing away from one another.
  • the pivoting element is arranged on the first bracing element and is prestressed by a spring arranged between the first bracing element and the pivoting element.
  • the preload can be realized by means of a torsion spring in the area of the pivot axis or by means of a compression spring, for example a spiral spring, which is in the area of the pivoting end of the pivot element attacks.
  • the spring acting between the two bracing elements can also be a spiral spring.
  • the two springs can be configured identically, which reduces the number of different components. However, other conventional springs can also be used.
  • the first bracing element can comprise a spring seat which is directed against the second bracing element
  • the second bracing element can comprise a spring seat which is directed against the first bracing element.
  • the spring mounts can be mounting pins around which a spring can be detachably arranged. The locating pins prevent the spring from slipping sideways or buckling.
  • the spring mounts can be designed as a sleeve into which a spring can be inserted. In the area of the swinging-out end of the pivoting element, such spring mounts can also be provided on the first bracing element and on the pivoting element, in order to position and guide the corresponding spring.
  • a pusher is provided on each of the bracing elements, which extends essentially in a plane perpendicular to the direction of displacement and which is designed in such a way that at least one fingertip of a user can be placed on it.
  • the closure can thus be easily removed from the drinking bottle cap by pressing the two pushers together with two fingers.
  • the pushers can also be sized so that two or more fingertips on them are attachable. The pressures can be formed together in one piece with the corresponding bracing element.
  • the first bracing element comprises a projection which is arranged on a side facing away from the second bracing element and the second bracing element comprises a protrusion which is arranged on a side facing away from the first bracing element.
  • Each projection can be inserted into a recess provided for this purpose in the cover, as a result of which the closure can be used securely and secured against twisting in the cover.
  • the projection can extend over the entire width of the corresponding bracing element. A partial extension is also possible, in which case the projection can be continuous or formed with interruptions.
  • the projection can be formed in one piece together with the other elements of the bracing elements.
  • the pivoting element is essentially U-shaped and comprises a first web and two legs adjoining it laterally, and with the free ends of the legs encompassing the pivot axis.
  • the U-shape is a light and permeable design, which means that liquid that gets through the cap in the direction of the drinking opening when drinking can get back through the cap into the drinking bottle essentially unhindered after drinking.
  • the free legs are at least partially elastic, which makes it easier to insert the bearing elements of the pivoting element.
  • the bearing elements are laterally outwardly projecting pin, which in corresponding Recordings can be inserted in the first bracing element. During assembly, the two legs can be pressed together and can be released again after the pins have been positioned in the corresponding receptacles.
  • the first bracing element may comprise tabs which protrude from the first bracing element in the direction of the pivoting element.
  • pin receptacles can be provided in the form of through-holes.
  • a seal receptacle can be provided on the side facing away from the first bracing element, around which the seal of the drinking opening can be arranged.
  • it can have a narrower neck area and a wider head area, with the seal being able to be slipped over the head area and engaged in the neck area.
  • the seal can be arranged on the pivoting element so that it can be easily detached and positioned securely.
  • the dimensions of the seal essentially correspond to those of the drinking opening.
  • the dimensions of the seal receptacle essentially correspond to those of the seal, minus the corresponding wall thicknesses of the seal.
  • the pivoting element comprises a further web which connects the two legs to one another at a distance from the first web.
  • An actuation can act on this further web, as a result of which the pivoting element can be pivoted against the first bracing element, as a result of which the drinking opening can be released. Because the two webs do not form a closed structure, liquid can also flow through this area of the closure essentially unhindered.
  • the surface of the additional web can be aligned at an incline with respect to the displacement direction of the actuation.
  • a lid according to the invention for a drinking bottle therefore comprises a lid with a housing in which a drinking opening is formed, a closure which can be removed from the lid and with which the drinking opening can be closed or opened, an actuating arrangement with which the closing or opening the drinking opening can be effected by the closure, the closure discloses the features of the closure in claim 1, and wherein the closure can be removed from the lid by pressing the two bracing elements together in the displacement direction.
