Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of epilating devices or epilators and more particularly epilating heads for faces and sensitive areas, mounted on an epilator.
  • An electric epilator generally comprises tweezers arranged on a rotating roller, the tweezers being brought mechanically during the rotation of the roller to close and open periodically so as to squeeze the hairs near the skin to pull them out and then evacuate. hairs pulled out.
  • the depilation device described comprises pulling pliers formed by several rows of movable blades in translation bearing against fixed support zones facing each other, all the movable blades in a row being carried by a rotating cylinder.
  • the movable blades are linked to lugs which, when the rotary cylinder is driven in rotation about a central axis, cooperate with a cam comprising grooves made on the periphery of a fixed central shaft.
  • the movement of the movable blades makes it possible to simultaneously pinch several hairs along the entire length of the row.
  • this device is not suitable for use on all parts of the body, in particular on a face or on sensitive areas, which are more difficult to access and / or thinner.
  • the documents FR 2 858 528 and FR 2 923 685 also describe epilating heads for a depilatory device with stripping tongs driven by an electric motor comprising a roller, on the periphery of which are arranged rows of stripping tongs, formed of blades actuated by the rotation of the roller. Likewise, these devices do not allow access to sensitive areas or very localized hair removal.
  • An object of the invention is to remedy at least in part the aforementioned drawbacks and to provide an epilating head for a hair removal device with pliers of simplified structure which can be assembled in an automated manner, and allowing localized use on all areas to be waxed, even the most difficult to access or the smallest.
  • each stripping row comprises a single stripping clamp itself having a single stripping blade combined with the fact that the through holes of two adjacent bars are offset longitudinally and have an overlap is particularly advantageous since this makes it possible to providing an epilation head having a narrow epilation circumferential area, thereby enabling the user to achieve precise epilation.
  • the support elements of two adjacent bars are longitudinally on the same side of the corresponding through orifices.
  • An overlap width is defined as the shortest distance in the longitudinal direction between a support element of a bar and an element opposite to a support element of an adjacent bar, and preferably a ratio between the width of overlap and the opening width is less than 0.5, preferably approximately equal to 0.35.
  • the support elements of two adjacent bars are longitudinally on opposite sides of the corresponding through orifices.
  • An overlap width is defined between the bearing elements of two adjacent bars, and preferably a ratio between the overlap width and the opening width is less than 0.5, preferably approximately equal to 0.35.
  • the epilation head described above may also have a width of the circumferential epilation zone of between 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm, preferably between 0.7 mm and 1 mm, more preferably of the order of 0.8 mm.

  • the lateral flanges (47,48) preferably have a plunging shape in the direction of the longitudinal axis, partially covering the roller 1, so as to conform to an area of skin having bristles. This plunging shape makes it possible in particular to attract the skin to which the epilation head is applied, by a suction effect for example, so that the pulling pliers are in contact with the skin and can pinch the shortest hairs.
