  • the epilation head according to the invention comprises fixing means which are designed, on the contrary, to prohibit (in normal use of the head hair removal) the relative disassembly of the roller 1 and the hollow body of the hair removal head.
  • the hair removal head roller 1 comprises a main body 2 formed of a stack, along the axis of rotation A-A', of a plurality of roller elements (or blocks) distinct. More specifically, the main body 2 of the roller 1 is formed of a stack of two lateral roller elements 3A, 3B (side blocks) and a plurality of central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C (central blocks) interposed between said side roller elements 3A, 3B. The main body 2 thus formed then extends itself longitudinally along the axis AA' of extension and rotation of the roller 1.
  • the main body 2 of the roller 1 is formed from a stack of three central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C interposed between said lateral roller elements 3A, 3B.
  • the number of central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C is not limited in practice.
  • each of the central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C of the main body 2 of the roller 1 has a first face 5A, 5B, 5C and an opposite second face 6A, 6B, 6C, at which said central roller element 4A, 4B , 4C can advantageously be directly (that is to say without intermediate piece) stacked against, coupled to, a respective face of a roller element (lateral or central) immediately adjacent along the axis of rotation A-A' .
  • each of said lateral roller elements 3A, 3B can have a working face 7A, 7B, advantageously intended to be directly (that is to say without intermediate piece) stacked against, coupled to, one of said first and second faces 5A, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6B, 6C of one of said central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C, and an opposite face 8A, 8B (or external face), oriented towards the outside of the main body 2 of the roller 1 and which preferably defines an end face of said main body 2.
  • the side roller elements 3A, 3B and the central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C of the roller 1 according to the invention are designed and configured in such a way that each of said side roller elements 3A, 3B and said central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C defines, by complementarity with the roller element (central 4A, 4B, 4C or lateral 3A, 3B) which is immediately adjacent to it, a plurality of windows 9 of fixed predetermined size. Said windows 9 are thus defined, materialized, by complementarity in shape of a pair of immediately adjacent lateral 3A, 3B and central 4A, 4B, 4C roller elements.
  • said windows 9 are fixed in the sense that, when the roller 1 is stopped or in operation, the dimensions of the windows 9 remain unchanged.
  • said windows 9 are advantageously distinct and distant from each other, and preferably delimited by a continuous closed contour (for example of substantially rectangular shape).
  • said contour can advantageously be formed by complementarity of a first contour element defined by one of said lateral roller elements 3A, 3B or central 4A, 4B, 4C, and a second contour element defined by another of said lateral roller elements 3A, 3B or central 4A, 4B, 4C immediately adjacent.
  • Each of the windows 9 thus defined carries a first fixed jaw 10 (or fixed blade) and is intended to (and therefore designed and dimensioned for) receive within it a second jaw 11, which is in turn mounted movable (or movable blade) relative to said window 9, to form hair removal tweezers 12 (or tearing tweezers) by cooperation of the first fixed jaw 10 with the second movable jaw 11.
  • this first fixed jaw 10 can typically be arranged at one or other of the first and second contour elements of the window 9.
  • the window 9 is thus (at least in part) delimited by said first fixed jaw 10 .
  • the travel of the second movable jaws 11 between their open and closed positions is of the order of approximately 1 to 1.5 mm.
  • the second movable jaws 11 are made of metal, for example stainless steel.
  • the second movable jaws 11 could possibly be made of a plastic material, provided that the plastic material chosen gives said jaws sufficient mechanical strength and rigidity to enable them to effectively perform their function of pinching and pulling out hairs.
  • roller 1 in addition to simplifying both the management of the stocks of parts necessary for the manufacture of the main body 2 of the roller 1 and the relative assembly of these parts (whether manually or automatically), also advantageously gives the roller 1 according to the invention a " modular " character ". Indeed, it is therefore possible to simply and inexpensively manufacture hair removal head rollers of more or less length (considered according to their axis of rotation), and therefore capable of allowing hair removal of a strip of more or less less wide body area, by successive stacking of two, three, four or more identical central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C. The same central roller element reference 4A, 4B, 4C can thus be advantageously used for the manufacture of epilation head rollers intended to equip epilation heads and epilation devices of different sizes.
  • said central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C are designed so that their said first and second faces 5A, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6B, 6C have complementary profiles in pairs.
  • the profile of each of the first and second faces 5A, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6B, 6C of one of said central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C is complementary to both the profile of the first face 5A, 5B, 5C and the profile of the second face 6A, 6B, 6C of each of the other central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C.
  • central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C can be stacked, arranged, coupled, one against the other regardless of the orientation of their first and second faces 5A, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6B, 6C.
  • This “ reversible ”, “ returnable ” nature of the central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C makes it possible to further simplify the assembly of the main body 2 of the roller 1.
  • the central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C are preferably designed to be assembled two by two along said axis of rotation AA' by nesting, more preferably with a regular angular radial offset (relative to the axis of rotation A-A ').
  • the central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C are designed so that their first and second faces 5A, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6B, 6C are respectively not inscribed in a plane.
  • they are designed so that the first and second faces 5A, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6B, 6C of any of the central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C can fit closely, without play.
  • said central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C can then advantageously be designed so that the first and second faces 5A, 5B , 5C, 6A, 6B, 6C of any of the central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C can fit tightly, without significant play, indifferently in one or the other of the first and second faces 5A, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6B, 6C of another of said central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C.

  • central rollers 4A, 4B, 4C (so that the side roller elements 3A, 3B can be stacked, arranged, coupled to any one of the first and second faces 5A, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6B, 6C of the any of the central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C), said lateral roller elements 3A, 3B can then advantageously be designed so that their working face 7A, 7B can fit closely, without significant play, indifferently in either of the first and second faces 5A, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6B, 6C of any of the central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C.
  • This particular “ interlocking ” design further facilitates the relative assembly of the central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C, and preferably also the side roller elements 3A, 3B.
  • Such a design also advantageously makes it possible to guarantee perfect indexing two by two of the respective faces of the central roller elements 4A, 4B, 4C and, preferably also of the lateral roller elements 3A, 3B, so as to ensure precise definition and repeatable windows 9 intended to receive the second movable jaws 11.
