Definitions

  • the invention relates to a vibration device for training and therapeutic applications according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the vibration device has a first handle and a second handle as well as a movement mechanism that can be driven by an electric motor and by means of which a vibration or oscillation movement can be generated on both handles.
  • the two handles are held on a frame on which the movement mechanism is accommodated and which can be displaced via the handles.
  • Such vibration devices are used for medical or physiotherapeutic applications or for training purposes, in which in particular the upper body muscles of the user are to be stimulated and built up.
  • the user grabs the two handles, which are vibrated or moved back and forth during operation via the movement mechanism, so that the movements via hands and arms act on the entire upper body of the user.
  • the user's muscular system reacts to the movements generated by the vibration device in order to compensate for them. In this way, the relevant muscle groups are stimulated and thus built up.
  • a portable training device which has a pulling element deflected on a pulley. Handles are attached to the ends of the pulling element, by means of which the user can alternately apply pulling forces.
  • the deflection roller is held on a roller carrier, via which a vibration movement can be transmitted to the tension element.
  • US7,238,143B1 shows in a first embodiment a vibration device with a housing, on the outside of which two weights are driven eccentrically to generate a vibration.
  • the housing is connected to a rod that serves as a handle via a rope that is guided over two rollers mounted on a ceiling.
  • the vibration device is switched on, the vibration generated on it can be transmitted to the rod as a recurring, increasing and decreasing tensile load.
  • the rod is via a linkage with an eccentric Drive connected while the user is on a movable couch. When gripping the bar while the vibration device is switched on, the user is repetitively shifted back and forth.
  • JP4,153997B2 or the priority application mentioned herein DE19634397A1 describes a dumbbell-like device for a hand, in which a handle part is driven with an oscillating movement relative to a mass element.
  • the handle part is mounted on a cross member at both of its ends via a joint.
  • both traverses are rigidly connected to one another via two support columns.
  • US2018 / 272185A1 describes two handles, each protruding from a housing via a ball joint, with a pull lever.
  • the handles can be rotated with different resistances to exercise the wrist muscles in relation to the housing.
  • vibration devices can be integrated on the handles as well as on the housing.
  • US2013 / 331746A1 shows a vibration device with a spherical housing in which a drive motor is received, which drives a weight in an oscillating manner.
  • the spherical housing is connected to a kind of circular shell, which consists of a large number of handles, via two bearing elements protruding from the outside.
  • the disadvantage of the known training device is that the vibration movements generated in this way can only be transmitted relatively weakly to the user via the pulling element and consequently only a relatively weak stimulation of the muscles takes place. In addition, only relatively few muscle groups can be reached here. Overall, the training effect of the known vibration devices is therefore relatively small.
  • the object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages mentioned in a generic vibration device and to ensure an increased training effect.
  • the two handles each have a rigid connection to the frame.
  • a particularly direct transmission of the vibratory or oscillating movement of the frame excited by means of the movement mechanism is hereby possible.
  • the mass set in vibrating or oscillating motion by the movement mechanism is increased by the weight of the handles. Overall, this can improve the training effect even further.
  • the two handles each form a connection between two bearing plates of the frame, with both handles being connected to the frame at both ends.
  • the handles can be integrated into the vibrating or oscillating mass in a particularly stable and rigid manner. In this way, the vibration movement generated by the movement mechanism first acts on the frame and thereby sets a relatively large mass in vibrating or oscillating movement.
  • this vibration or oscillation movement of the frame mass can act on the user's entire upper body via the hands and arms of the user. Due to the vibrating mass of the frame, a relatively high kinetic energy acts on the upper body of the user, so that his musculature can be stressed relatively heavily. By tensing certain muscle groups, the user can specifically control the areas that are to be stimulated more intensely by the vibration movement. In this way, essentially all muscle groups of the upper body can be reached.
  • the movement mechanism advantageously has at least one eccentrically rotatable centrifugal mass which is received in the frame and which is driven by the motor. In this way, a stable and uniform vibration or oscillation movement can be generated on the frame in a simple manner.
  • the at least one centrifugal mass is mounted on each of the two bearing plates via a pivot bearing, whereby the entire mass of the frame and the handles attached to it can be set in a uniform vibration or oscillation movement, in particular without it being inside the frame could lead to movements in opposite directions in some areas, which could reduce the effective kinetic energy.
  • the centrifugal mass advantageously has an adjustable amplitude in order to be able to adjust the intensity of the vibration or oscillating movement acting on the user.
  • the adjustable flywheel has two eccentric disks which can be adjusted or rotated in their position relative to one another.
  • they can be positioned with respect to one another in such a way that their eccentric movements essentially cancel one another out in terms of force or can be more or less pronounced.
  • the setting of the positions of the two eccentric disks with respect to one another can be provided manually, for example by means of an adjusting screw, or by means of a controllable servomotor.
  • a first eccentric device is held adjacent to the first handle and a second eccentric device is held rotatably adjacent to the second handle. In this way, the vibration or oscillation movements generated by the movement mechanics can act particularly directly on the handles.
  • both eccentric devices can be driven by the electric motor via a common belt drive. This enables a simple structure of the drive and an exact coordination of the movement of the two eccentric devices with one another.
  • the two eccentric devices can be driven with a preset offset, such as in particular 180 °.
  • the electric motor advantageously has an adjustable speed, which is preferably in the range from 5 to 28 Hz. In this way, the vibration or oscillation movement generated by the movement mechanism can be individually adapted to the respective application or the respective user.
  • the speed can be set via a wireless connection by means of an electronic control device, such as, for example, via a a corresponding control app equipped smartphone or a portable computer, such as a tablet computer in particular.
  • an electronic control device such as, for example, via a a corresponding control app equipped smartphone or a portable computer, such as a tablet computer in particular.
  • This enables particularly convenient control of the vibration device via the electronic control device, including the execution of special preprogrammed training programs with automatic change in speed.
  • the frame is pivotable, such as, in particular, is mounted to swing freely.
  • the weight of the vibration device or the effective mass during operation can be selected independently of the weight that can be held by the user.
  • This makes it possible to provide the frame or the handles with a relatively high weight in order to achieve a high training effect.
  • the user Due to the pivotable or freely swinging mounting, the user has the option of using the handles to deflect the frame as desired in order to be able to stimulate specific muscle groups in a targeted manner.
  • the frame is mounted or suspended so that it can be tilted about a storage area in order to expand the possibilities for loading the frame via the handles and thereby the training variations.
  • the frame is advantageously suspended from a carrying device, which enables the vibration device to be used in any location and in a stable manner.
  • the frame on the carrying device is pretensioned into an initial position by means of elastic tension elements.
  • the forces that a user has to apply in order to deflect the suspended vibration device can be adjusted via the tension elements.
  • Fig. 1 shows a vibration device 2 with a frame 4 which has two bearing plates 6.
  • two housing parts G which are provided between the two bearing plates 6 and on the underside of the vibration device 2, are only shown by their outer contour shown in dash-dotted lines.
  • a first handle 8A and a second handle 8B are provided between the two bearing plates 6 on two sides facing away from one another.
  • the handles 8A, 8B each have a rigid connection 10 with the respective bearing plate 6 at their two ends, for example by means of a screw connection.
  • a movement mechanism 12 is mounted on the frame 4, by means of which the frame 4 and the two handles 8A, 8B can be subjected to a vibration or oscillating movement.
  • the movement mechanism 12 has an electric motor 14, by means of which both a first eccentric device 18A adjacent to the first handle 8A and a second eccentric device 18B adjacent to the second handle 8B can be driven via a belt drive 16.
  • Both eccentric devices 18A, 18B each have a flywheel 20A, 20B which is held eccentrically rotatable on both bearing plates 6 via pivot bearings 22.
  • the two centrifugal masses 20A, 20B are essentially each formed by two eccentric disks 24, 26, as in FIG Figs. 1 and 2 shown as an example.
  • the centrifugal masses 20A, 20B can also be essentially formed by a single eccentric disk.
  • an offset angle WA, WB must be changed according to Fig. 2 between two eccentricities of the two eccentric disks 24, 26 shown by arrows E1 and E2.
  • the setting of this offset angle WA, WB can be made possible, for example, by a manual handle or by a servomotor (not shown).
  • the two centrifugal masses 20A, 20B are usually driven with an offset of 180 ° in relation to one another in order to be able to ensure the most uniform possible vibration or oscillation movement when the vibration device 2 is in operation.
  • any other offset can also be provided in order to generate a special vibration movement.
  • a speed of the electric motor can also be set, such as preferably to a value between 5 and 28 Hz.
  • a control device 28 can be provided, as shown in FIG Fig. 1 can be found.
  • the control device 28 can be adjustable, for example, via an easily accessible control 29 on an outside of the frame 4.
  • the control device 28 can also have an interface 30 for a wireless connection, such as in particular via Bluetooth. This enables a connection to an electronic control device 32, as exemplified in FIG Fig. 3 is shown.
  • the electronic control device 32 can be formed, for example, by a portable or tablet computer or by a smartphone on which a corresponding control program, such as an app that can be downloaded from the Internet, is stored. In this way, the electric motor 14 can also be set or controlled via the separate electronic control device 32.
  • the vibration device 2 is preferably suspended from a carrying device 34, for example by means of a rope or chain Element. As a result, a user does not have to bear the weight of the vibration device 2 himself during operation.
  • the vibration device 2 can be pivoted and tilted via a central bearing area 36 so that the user can place it in any position in order to be able to stimulate specific muscle groups during operation.
  • the vibration device 2 can also be pretensioned into a particularly horizontal starting position via elastic tension elements 38, such as rubber bands.
  • the force that is necessary to deflect the vibration device 2 in the various directions can be predetermined via the tension elements 38.
  • the tension elements 38 enable more comfortable handling of the vibration device 2, particularly at the beginning and at the end of an application.
  • a height adjustment 40 can be provided between the vibration device 2 and the carrying device 34 in order to be able to adapt the starting position of the vibration device 2 individually to the body size of the respective user.
  • the height adjustment 40 can be used to adapt the vibration device 2 to different types of application. For example, the user can lie down on a lounger or sit on a chair in order to use the vibration device 2 in the area of his legs, such as by direct action or, for example, by attaching leg loops to the handles 8A, 8B (not shown).
  • the two bearing plates 6 also have a contour with a concave section.
  • this enables, as a further function, comfortable contact with parts of the body of the user, for example in the back area, in order to massage them.
  • the dead weight of the vibration device 2, together with the tension elements 38, ensures a suitable contact pressure.
