Definitions
- the present invention relates to a device for biomechanical stimulation of muscles.
- Biomechanical Muscle Stimulation was developed in the late 1970s in Russia by Prof. Nazarov and used primarily in the field of competitive sports.
- the BMS is based on a purely mechanical action on the human body with vibrations in a particular frequency and a certain amplitude, which are selected according to the desired application.
- the vibrations that resemble and mimic the body's natural ones act on strained or stretched muscles along the muscle fiber.
- the BMS thus generates positive effects on, for example, the circulatory and lymphatic systems.
- BMS blood flow to the muscle or the corresponding body part.
- This can be used to treat diseases such as peripheral circulatory disorders.
- the BMS can be used in the cosmetic field, for example against wrinkling or cellulite.
- the BMS is carried out with the help of randomly generated vibrations in more or less linear (vertical) direction. It comes to a hub, which adversely affects the user.
- the devices are designed in such a way that only a limited number of body parts, for example, only the leg or arm area - the BMS can be subjected.
- the BMS can be advantageously carried out when the stimulation is generated by a uniform circular or elliptical movement.
- the device according to the invention in the device according to the invention not only a force is exerted vertically to the platform, but also a tensile force acting essentially parallel to the platform. This results in significantly improved biomechanical stimulation of the body part located on the platform.
- an apparatus according to claim 1 is provided.
- the apparatus comprises a base plate, a pedestal connected to the base plate, and a platform connected to the pedestal via a drive device, the platform exerting a circular or elliptical movement about an axis outside the center of gravity of the platform during operation, and thereby undergoes a parallel shift.
- the device according to the invention comprises a base plate for stable installation of the device on a flat surface.
- additional weights can be arranged on the base plate in order to increase the stability, in particular during operation at high frequencies, by fixing the base plate.
- a base Connected to the base plate, a base is arranged.
- the base preferably has an L-shape whose shorter end is fixedly connected to the base plate and whose longer end extends vertically up to the base plate.
- an L-shape is also understood to mean a shape in which the two sections do not enclose a right angle or the larger section is curved. A user can hold on to this base during the operation of the device according to the invention.
- devices for operating the device are preferably provided on the base. Particularly preferred is provided over substantially the entire length of the longer portion of the L-shaped base in the direction of the base plate and platform, a band with electrical connection to the drive device. By repeatedly pressing this band, the operator can set or stop the device according to the invention.
- two handles are arranged at the upper end of the base. A user can hold on to these handles.
- other common brackets are also conceivable.
- the inventive device is equipped for better transport with at least one wheel.
- at least one wheel Preferably located in the vicinity of the connection of the base and the base plate, two wheels, which are arranged in particular laterally of the base at the lower end.
- a platform is provided which is movably connected to the base via a drive device.
- the shorter piece of the L-shaped socket is located on a portion of the base plate.
- the drive device is connected.
- this part of the base there is an opening through which the drive device extends.
- the platform is connected via bearings to the drive device such that it can be set in the desired circular or elliptical motion.
- a cover is arranged on the portion of the base plate, on which the base is arranged and over which the platform is located, so that the drive device is not accessible from the outside.
- the platform has an ergonomic shape.
- An ergonomic shape according to the present invention is understood to mean a shape which does not include any corners or edges. To this In this way, the platform can be used from all directions, without causing unpleasant or even risk of injury to the user. According to the invention, the platform is preferably oval.
- the platform has an ergonomic shape and a lower surface area of the surface than the surface of the base plate.
- the user can get on the base plate, which improves the stability of the device during operation, and use the device by placing a body part, such as a leg or arm, on the platform.
- the platform is accessible from any direction.
- the area of the surface of the platform is preferably 30-70% of the area of the surface of the base plate.
- openings are provided in the platform.
- ropes or bands can be pulled through these openings and connected to the platform. With these ropes or bands further exercises can be performed.
- the user may be on the base plate and pull the ropes or straps or lead around a body part and use the device in this way.
- the platform undergoes a uniform circular or elliptical motion.
- the movement is enforced and absolutely uniform in the inventive device. It has been shown that in this way the biomechanical muscle stimulation can be performed much more effectively than when the BMS is done by random and therefore non-uniform movements.
- the device according to the invention in the device according to the invention not only a force is exerted vertically to the platform, but also a tensile force acting essentially parallel to the platform. This results in significantly improved biomechanical stimulation of the body part located on the platform.
- a circular movement is preferred.
- a circular movement is understood to mean a movement which does not deviate more than 5% from an ideal circular movement.
- the axis about which the platform moves in a circle lies parallel to the base plate below the platform and in particular preferably perpendicular to an axis perpendicular through the base.
- the movement of the platform takes place at a frequency of 5 to 35 Hz.
- the circular or elliptical movement of the platform can be generated by conventional and known to those skilled drive devices. According to the invention, the movement is preferably generated by an eccentric drive.
- the eccentric drive is well known to those skilled in the art and therefore need not be explained in detail here.
- an eccentric shaft is connected to the platform via conventional components such as rods, rollers, bearings, belts or gears
- the movement performed by the platform is in Fig. 1 shown for the example of a circular motion.
- the platform P moves about the axis A. During this rotation, there is thus no tilting of the platform P. This experiences a parallel displacement.
- the platform P (ie the platform in the home position) and the platform P '(ie the platform after a rotation through 90 °) and the platform P "(ie the platform after rotation by 180 °) and the platform P''' (ie the platform after a rotation of 270 °) are thus in each case parallel to one another
- the travel of the platform during the movement according to the present invention is preferably not more than 4 mm.
- the device according to the invention can be used in the fitness, cosmetics and health sector.
- the emphasis is on building muscle and increasing the user's endurance.
- the device can be used for example against cellulite or wrinkling.
- the device according to the invention can be used for, for example, the following indications: connective tissue weakness, degenerative rheumatic diseases, migraine, muscle tension or weakness, musculoskeletal pain, muscular atrophy, muscle degeneration, arthrosis, fractures, joint diseases (eg tennis elbow), joint instability, myelosis, shoulder-back, - hip, - knee and ankle problems, circulatory disorders, congestion syndrome (ulcus cruris), edema absorption, neuropathy, metabolic, urinary incontinence, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, stroke, Arthrogenic (venous) congestive syndrome (Ulcus cruris), circulatory disorders, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, scleroderma, periodontos
- FIGS Fig. 2 A preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention will be described below with reference to FIGS Fig. 2 shown.
- an L-shaped base 2 On a part of an oval base plate 1, an L-shaped base 2 is mounted, whose shorter portion is surrounded by a cover 7. In an opening located in this shorter section of the base 2, the drive device for the platform 3 is arranged. In this example, this is an eccentric shaft, which causes the circular movement of the platform 3. At the end of the shorter section of the L-shaped base 2 there is additionally an operating unit 8 for adjusting the device according to the invention. At the lower end of the base 2, two wheels 6 are mounted to ensure easy transport of the device according to the invention. At the upper end of the longer portion of the L-shaped base 2 is a handle 4, on which the user can hold during operation of the inventive device. Along the longer portion of the L-shaped base 2, a band 5 is attached.
- the band 5 is electrically connected to the drive device in the base 2.
- the platform 3 is movably connected to the drive device located in the base 2 (in its part surrounded by the cover 7), so that the platform 3 can be moved circularly or elliptically by the drive device. How out Fig. 2 As can be seen, the surface of the platform 3 has a smaller surface area than the surface of the base plate 1. The user can thus also put on the base plate 1 during operation and bring only certain parts of the body on the platform 3 and subject them specifically to the BMS. On the platform 3 are still openings 9. Through these openings ropes or bands can be performed for additional exercises.
