Definitions
- the present invention relates to a lifting device for a sliding door or a sliding window according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Sliding doors and sliding windows are used to cover openings in a building envelope with a movable, flat element that can be moved laterally, i.e. essentially transversely to gravity or horizontally, in order to release the opening as required.
- a movable, flat element that can be moved laterally, i.e. essentially transversely to gravity or horizontally, in order to release the opening as required.
- the movable element hereinafter referred to as a "wing”
- wing consists mainly of glass or another transparent material, especially in the case of windows. This is often the case with doors such as patio doors, but partially or completely opaque leaves are also conceivable.
- sliding door unless otherwise specified, is understood to be synonymous with sliding door and sliding window.
- the sash is lowered in the closed position.
- the lowering can be used to set the wing down on a solid surface and thereby block it from moving.
- Another possibility is that the wing is lowered into a recess, which also creates a form fit that prevents it from being moved to open.
- Other mechanisms for securing a sliding door or a sliding window against unintentional opening are known and can be considered for combination with the present invention as long as they do not conflict with the lifting device according to the invention or other features.
- a fundamental problem with sliding doors is that the leaves have to be guided downwards.
- This guide represents a threshold, step or some other elevation protruding from below and is at least disruptive or even dangerous since it creates a risk of tripping in the case of a door.
- the sash is suspended from the top of the frame, ie the lifting device is located at the top of the frame.
- this solution requires that the upper part of the wing is made sufficiently stable so that the entire weight can be suspended from the lifting device.
- a guide at the lower edge of the wing is still necessary.
- the DE-A-1808276 teaches a lifting device under the wing.
- the sash is unlocked by lifting a track on which the sash can move with the aid of rollers that are attached to the bottom of the sash's frame. Since these rollers are located in the frame of the wing, a relatively wide frame is again required at least at the bottom of the wing and the said running rail protrudes from the ground in the raised state.
- the running rail is raised by horizontally shifting a lifting rail, which has inclined tracks for lifting rollers that are attached to the running rail. This arrangement also requires careful adjustment, namely precise positioning of the lifting rollers in relation to the inclined paths of the lifting rail.
- One object of the present invention is to provide a lifting device which is used to lift the sash of a sliding door (or a sliding window) and which requires less adjustment effort.
- a lifting device that fulfills the object is specified in claim 1.
- the further claims indicate preferred embodiments and sliding locking devices for a building shell (sliding door or sliding window) with such a lifting device.
- an essential feature of the present invention is that the carrier of a roller arrangement under the wing is provided with eccentrically mounted lifting rollers in order to be able to lift them.
- the carrier rests on a roller conveyor with the lifting rollers.
- By shifting the carrier sideways and thus the axes of the lifting rollers they roll on the runway. Due to this rotary movement and the eccentricity of the axes of the lifting rollers, the distance between the axes of the lifting rollers and thus of the carrier relative to the runway is changed, in particular from a lowest level, which corresponds to the idle state of the locked sliding door or the locked sliding window, to a higher position , in which the wing of the sliding door or the sliding window can be moved, that is, the sliding door or window can be opened and closed.
- the carrier is provided with a flat surface from which rollers for the wing protrude just enough that the wing can be guided, a substantially threshold-free and obstacle-free passage can be achieved, especially when used as a door.
- a substantially C-shaped, rubber-elastic profile For the guidance at the top of the wing, an arrangement of a substantially C-shaped, rubber-elastic profile has proven to be favorable.
- the profile preferably extends over the entire length of the upper edge of the wing.
- a T-shaped profile protrudes downwards from the top of the window frame, with the crossbeam of the T at the lower end of the web of the T, i.e. the T is upside down.
- the C-shaped profile encompasses the crossbar of the T in such a way that when the wing is lowered, the sides of the C rest against the ends of the crossbar of the T and are optimally spread slightly. In this way, a seal between the interior and the exterior with respect to the wing is achieved at the same time.
- the C-shaped profile preferably has a cross section in which the opening of the C-profile is noticeably reduced compared to the maximum diameter or the height of the C-profile, so that the C-profile engages behind the crossbar of the T-beam and is pressed against the rear edge of the crossbar when it is lowered.
- the sash in the device according to the invention has a grip strip, a handle or the like for ergonomic reasons in order to be able to move the sash manually, it is possible in the case of a glass sash to make it practically without a frame.
- a version with a simple plate can be performed directly on the rollers of the lifting device.
- the spacer profile which is located in the edge of the glass panes and connects them to one another, is preferably designed on the outside in such a way that it also serves as a rail for the rollers, e.g. has at least one sufficiently pronounced rib in the longitudinal direction.
- the above-mentioned combined seal and guide on the upper edge of the wing can be combined with a climate-separated, motorized drive.
- the drive is preferably located on the inside of the wing.
- Via a shaft it is connected to a vane drive wheel, which is essentially located in the web of the T-guide bar and whose circumference protrudes so far down over the transverse plate of the T-bar that, when the sash is raised, a drive surface that is at the top of the edge of the sash is designed to come into contact with the periphery of this vane drive wheel.
- This vane drive wheel is thus arranged in the intermediate zone between the outer space and the inner space with respect to the vane.
- the connection between the shaft and the vane drive wheel is preferably automatically height-adjustable, e.g. by means of a pivoting gear or elastic torque transmission means.
- a sliding door 2 which in general, unless specific functions of a door are required, can just as well be a sliding window.
- the sliding door can be arranged with the underside 3 of the stationary frame 5, also called a blind frame, which essentially covers the edge of the opening in the building shell 1, below the floor level 7 in order to obtain an essentially ground-level passage.
- the opening lever 11 which can be pivoted 180 degrees downwards, for example according to arrow 13, in order to lock or release the sliding sash 15 in the closed position.
- the sliding sash 15 is shown in a partially open position, in which it is slightly raised relative to the upper edge 17 of the lower frame part.
- a handle 19 is provided on the left of the sliding sash in order to be able to move the sash by hand.
- the handle 19, which can also be a vertical handle strip, can be fastened in a suitable manner near the edge to the wing, e.g. glued or attached to an edge profile, which in turn is sunk into the wing and arranged invisibly.
- Fig. 2 shows the mechanism which is essentially located in the left 9 and lower 3 frame parts of the stationary frame 5, wherein Fig. 2a represents a left part and Figure 2b represents a partial section at the right end.
- a vertically displaceable rod 23 extends in the left frame part 9 (see Fig. Fig. 3 , in Fig. 2a , covered in a cover 25), which can be moved up and down by pivoting the lever 11 according to arrow 13.
- the movement of the rod 23 is converted into a substantially horizontal movement via a pivot lever 27.
- the left horizontal band 29 produces an articulated connection between the pivot lever 27 and the carrier 31 of the roller arrangement 33.
- the roller assembly 33 comprises eccentrically mounted lifting rollers 35 on axles 37 and running rollers 39 protruding from the carrier 31 at the top have sufficient friction with the circumference of the lifting rollers 35 that they roll on the runway 41, but do not slip on it.
- the runways 41 can be connected in a suitable manner to the underside 3 of the window frame 5 or building shell 1, as indicated here by screws 43. The height of the runways 41 can also be adjusted by means of the screws 43.
- FIG. 2b it is shown that a right horizontal belt 45 is articulated to the right of the carrier 31. It represents an articulated connection to the bolt actuating rod 47, which is guided in the bolt block 48 so as to be displaceable.
- the two bolts 51 are attached by means of a connecting part 49.
- the specification of two bolts 51 is an example; one bolt or more than two bolts 51 are also conceivable.
- the bolts 51 are in turn held in the bolt block 48 in grooves 53 (see FIGS. 10, 12) in the bolt block 48.
- Figg. 3 to 9 show the mechanism arranged in the frame 5 in greater detail.
- the vertical rod 23 runs in guides 55 which are attached to a bar 57 in the left frame part 9 ( Fig. 1 ) is attached or forms part of it.
- the left frame part 9 is shown in Figs. 2 and 3 are not shown for the sake of simplicity.
- the bar 57 has a bearing 59 for the pivot lever 27.
- An articulated connection between the linearly guided rod 23 and the pivot lever 27 is established by the connecting member 61.
- the sections through the roller arrangement 33 of FIGS. 5 and 6 (lowered position) and Fig. 8 and 9 show that the carrier 31 is designed as a tube with a basically rectangular cross-section.
- the lifting rollers 35 mounted eccentrically on the axles 37 are located outside the carrier 31 on the left and right in the figures.
- the arrangement in pairs prevents the roller arrangement 33 from tilting.
- the roller arrangement 33 is linearly guided by a guide rib 63 in a width corresponding to the spacing of the lifting rollers 35 on the roller tracks 41.
- rollers 39 which are mounted on axles 67 in the carrier 31, are arranged in the carrier 31.
- a C-shaped cover profile 69 with a flat central part 70 is attached to the top of the carrier 31.
- the rollers 39 protrude above the carrier 31 and through the cover profile 69 just enough to allow the sliding sash 15 to be moved on the rollers 39 relative to the roller arrangement 33, preferably to be moved easily, but reinforced by its own weight on the roller assembly, through which the rollers 39 are laterally guided.
- the circumference of the rollers 39 is concave in cross section, so that a corresponding rib on the underside of the wing 15 is laterally guided therein.
- the design of the lifting rollers 35 and the eccentricity of their axes 37 is selected in such a way that in the lowered state (see FIGS. 2, 5 and 6) the cover profile at most just rests on the lifting rollers 35.
- the cover profile 69 is preferably approximately flush with the underside 3 of the window frame 5 adjoining left and right or, especially in the case of doors, the floor level in front of a transition between the floor that is as free of thresholds as possible and get behind the sliding door.
- the cover profile 69 also protects the roller assembly 33 from solids and liquids that fall from above onto the lifting device. For liquids (rain) in particular, it is advantageous to provide drainage precautions.
- the rollers 35 For an even lifting or lowering movement, the rollers 35 must be aligned with one another.
- One possibility is to lower the roller arrangement 33 with the wing 15 open and to remove the cover profile 69.
- the rollers 35 are accessible and can be in the lowered position according to FIG Fig. 3 be rotated, if necessary supported by a corresponding marking, which indicates the point of maximum eccentricity at the beginning, which must then point upwards.
- a self-adjustment can also be assumed, since when lowering the wing 15 in the locked position in the lower frame part 9, whereby the roller arrangement 33 is relieved. If the runway 41 has an asymmetrical frictional behavior with respect to the rollers 35, that is, when it is moved to the left in FIG Fig.
- the design can be such that the lifting rollers 35 in the unloaded state when moving the carrier 31 to the left do not move over the in Fig. 3 Turn away the position shown, but if necessary slide on the track 41. If the carrier 31 is pushed to the right again, there is increased friction, which is supported by the weight of the wing 15 when it rests on the rollers 39 and is pushed upwards.
- the Figg. 10 to 12 show details of the locking device.
- the locking block 48 is firmly attached in the frame 5. It has the linear guide 71 for the bolt actuating rod 47, the grooves 53 for the bolt 51 and a transverse groove 73 for a seal.
- the lower side of the sliding sash 15 rests on the upper side 75 in the lowered state. Suitable recesses are present in or on it so that the latches 51 move into these recesses in the final phase of locking (to the left in FIGS. 2, 3, 7) and thus prevent the wing 15 from lifting.
- the sash Since the sash is raised by rolling the eccentrically mounted lifting rollers 35, whereby initially there is at most a slight vertical movement, but a large horizontal movement, when unlocking, ie lifting the sliding sash 15, a substantial horizontal movement is initially generated which allows that first of all the bolts 51 move out of the underside of the sash 15, after which the essential vertical movement begins, which is then no longer hindered by the bolts 51.
- This mechanism is supported by the partially beveled underside (bevel 77) of the bolt 51, which can be supported, supplemented or replaced by appropriately shaped recesses in the underside of the sash, depending on the situation.
- the recesses may, for example, be holes 78 in a strike plate 79 which is fastened to the side of the sash in a suitable manner.
- an O-ring 81 is proposed.
- the starting point here is, for example, triple glazing 83 of the wing 15, the individual panes being connected via the profiles 85 at the edge of the glass.
- the guide profile 89 is placed on the profiles. It essentially comprises two C-shaped, mirror-image sealing strips 91 which are fastened to a carrier profile 93 by means of a pressure strip 95. Support profile 93 and pressure strip 95 are made of material of suitable strength, such as metal, plastic, glass fiber reinforced plastic.
- the sealing strips 91 consist of a material suitable for sealing purposes, in particular a rubber-elastic material, and can be deformed in a rubber-elastic manner. As in Fig. 13 As shown, the sealing strips 91 lie in the lowered state on the transverse strip 97, more precisely on its upper, rear edges.
- the transverse strip 97 is part of an essentially upside-down, T-shaped arrangement, the transverse strip 97 being attached to a support 101 protruding downward from the top 99 of the window frame 5.
- the sealing strips were pressed outward by their rounding from the sides of the transverse strip 97, so that the outer sides 103 of the sealing strips 91 rest against the inner side walls of the upper part 99.
- the sealing effect produced in this way is reinforced by chambers 105 on the outer surfaces 103, which act as additional sealing lips.
- the contact between the sealing profiles 91 and the transverse strip 97 each represents a seal. Overall, a multiple, high-quality seal between the interior and exterior of the sliding door 2 (or a sliding window) is achieved.
- Fig. 14 shows the situation when the wing 15 is raised.
- the sealing strips 91 are no longer in contact with the transverse strip 97 and are no longer pressed outward by the latter. They have therefore moved inward and their free ends 109 are laterally in contact with the carrier 101.
- the sliding door 15 is thus guided laterally, but can easily be moved.
- the ends 109 of the sealing strips 91 can be equipped with a material of lower friction with respect to the surface of the carrier 101 and / or the side surfaces of this carrier can be equipped with a correspondingly low-friction material.
- silicone, Teflon and related materials for example, are conceivable. Friction pairings for sliding purposes are known per se to the person skilled in the art.
- the specified mechanism for locking the sliding door or window can also be motorized, namely the lever 11 can be equipped with a motorized drive.
- the lever 11 can be equipped with a motorized drive.
- the motor 117 is located in the upper side of the window frame 5, specifically in a zone between the interior and exterior with respect to the sliding door 2.
- a drive shaft 119 extends from the motor 117 and drives a drive wheel 121 via a movable transmission.
- the drive wheel 121 is arranged in the area of the carrier 101 and its circumference 123 protrudes downward over the transverse strip 97 so far that the clamping strip 95 of the guide profile 89 rests on the circumference 123 when the wing 15 is in the raised, unlocked state.
- a suitable, elastic or movable transmission unit is advantageous in the area of the transition between shaft 119 and drive wheel 121, such as rubber-elastic deformable transmission members or pivotable against spring action Gear units, and the drive wheel 121 is vertically movable.
- Such measures are known per se to the person skilled in the art and do not need any further explanation.
- the drive wheel can be moved at least vertically.
- the weight of the drive wheel and the vertically moving parts of the transmission can be used as the pressure force on the wing, supported or gradually compensated by a spring-elastic element, depending on the requirements.
- controlled pressing by an actuator is also conceivable.
- a friction wheel can be attached to the end of the shaft 119, around which the drive wheel can be pivoted, so that there is a permanent frictional connection between the friction wheel and the drive wheel.
- a gear arrangement is also conceivable in which a gear connected to the drive can be pivoted about a pinion (gear) at the end of the shaft 119, a chain or belt drive or other types of drive known per se in the art.
Description
The present invention relates to a lifting device for a sliding door or a sliding window according to the preamble of
Sliding doors and sliding windows are used to cover openings in a building envelope with a movable, flat element that can be moved laterally, i.e. essentially transversely to gravity or horizontally, in order to release the opening as required. In the case of sliding windows, an area of at least half a square meter can be expected for the opening, in the case of sliding doors of at least one square meter. The movable element, hereinafter referred to as a "wing", consists mainly of glass or another transparent material, especially in the case of windows. This is often the case with doors such as patio doors, but partially or completely opaque leaves are also conceivable.
In the context of the present description, for the sake of simplicity, the term sliding door, unless otherwise specified, is understood to be synonymous with sliding door and sliding window.
To lock the sash, i.e. to secure it against unauthorized opening by third parties or other influences, the sash is lowered in the closed position. The lowering can be used to set the wing down on a solid surface and thereby block it from moving. Another possibility is that the wing is lowered into a recess, which also creates a form fit that prevents it from being moved to open. Other mechanisms for securing a sliding door or a sliding window against unintentional opening are known and can be considered for combination with the present invention as long as they do not conflict with the lifting device according to the invention or other features.

A lifting device that fulfills the object is specified in
Accordingly, an essential feature of the present invention is that the carrier of a roller arrangement under the wing is provided with eccentrically mounted lifting rollers in order to be able to lift them. The carrier rests on a roller conveyor with the lifting rollers. By shifting the carrier sideways and thus the axes of the lifting rollers, they roll on the runway.
If the carrier is provided with a flat surface from which rollers for the wing protrude just enough that the wing can be guided, a substantially threshold-free and obstacle-free passage can be achieved, especially when used as a door.
For the guidance at the top of the wing, an arrangement of a substantially C-shaped, rubber-elastic profile has proven to be favorable. The profile preferably extends over the entire length of the upper edge of the wing. A T-shaped profile protrudes downwards from the top of the window frame, with the crossbeam of the T at the lower end of the web of the T, i.e. the T is upside down. The C-shaped profile encompasses the crossbar of the T in such a way that when the wing is lowered, the sides of the C rest against the ends of the crossbar of the T and are optimally spread slightly. In this way, a seal between the interior and the exterior with respect to the wing is achieved at the same time. When the sash is raised, the contact between the C-shaped profile of the sash and the T-profile on the stationary frame is eliminated so that the C-profile can be displaced with respect to the T-profile and is guided by it. With regard to the seal, the C-shaped profile preferably has a cross section in which the opening of the C-profile is noticeably reduced compared to the maximum diameter or the height of the C-profile, so that the C-profile engages behind the crossbar of the T-beam and is pressed against the rear edge of the crossbar when it is lowered.
Since the sash in the device according to the invention has a grip strip, a handle or the like for ergonomic reasons in order to be able to move the sash manually, it is possible in the case of a glass sash to make it practically without a frame. A version with a simple plate can be performed directly on the rollers of the lifting device. In the case of multiple panels (multiple glazing), the spacer profile, which is located in the edge of the glass panes and connects them to one another, is preferably designed on the outside in such a way that it also serves as a rail for the rollers, e.g. has at least one sufficiently pronounced rib in the longitudinal direction.
According to another possible development, the above-mentioned combined seal and guide on the upper edge of the wing can be combined with a climate-separated, motorized drive. The drive is preferably located on the inside of the wing. Via a shaft, it is connected to a vane drive wheel, which is essentially located in the web of the T-guide bar and whose circumference protrudes so far down over the transverse plate of the T-bar that, when the sash is raised, a drive surface that is at the top of the edge of the sash is designed to come into contact with the periphery of this vane drive wheel. This vane drive wheel is thus arranged in the intermediate zone between the outer space and the inner space with respect to the vane. The connection between the shaft and the vane drive wheel is preferably automatically height-adjustable, e.g. by means of a pivoting gear or elastic torque transmission means.

In a

In addition to the

Most of the body of the
The design of the lifting

The Figg. 10 to 12 show details of the locking device. When the sliding
During the lowering, the sealing strips were pressed outward by their rounding from the sides of the
The specified mechanism for locking the sliding door or window can also be motorized, namely the

In particular, there can be a gear arrangement in which the drive wheel can be moved at least vertically. The weight of the drive wheel and the vertically moving parts of the transmission can be used as the pressure force on the wing, supported or gradually compensated by a spring-elastic element, depending on the requirements. In principle, controlled pressing by an actuator is also conceivable.
To drive the
Denkbar sind dabei u.a.:

drive wheel 121 can protrude through a recess in the carrier of the inverted T-shaped arrangement or the bearings of theshaft 119 can be mounted in this carrier. This prevents the separating effect of the carrier from being interrupted, and a compact arrangement results.
