Definitions
- the invention relates to a threshold system for a sliding sash as a sliding sash or a sliding lift-and-slide sash of a window or a door according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Slidable sashes as sliding sashes or slidable lift-and-slide sashes of a window or door are known in a wide variety of designs and in the simplest case consist of a sash as a sliding sash, which is slidably arranged in an outer frame for opening and closing, and a further door that is also arranged in the frame. or window element, as an additional sliding sash or a fixed panel.
- the closed sliding sash can be locked on its side facing away from the other door or window element by actuating a fitting provided in the sash frame on the frame and thus secured against unauthorized opening.
- Sliding sashes are usually slidably received above or below the sliding sash.
- lifting / sliding sashes are opened, usually with an operating handle, the sliding sash with the seals is raised, making it easier to run on the threshold system.
- the opened sliding sash can then be pushed in front of an adjacent fixed panel. Lift and slide sashes can only be pushed or tilted depending on the design.
- When closing the sliding sash is lowered onto the threshold system and the seals are pressed on again. Opening and closing is also possible via electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic actuators.
- Sliding elements are known as sliding doors, sliding windows or balcony elements.
- the problem with the known sliding elements is that, due to the necessary guides for the movable wing (s), especially in the horizontal lower area of the threshold systems, a barrier-free transition is not possible, and the rollers of the sliding doors, sliding windows or balcony elements running on the guides also depend on the Exceed the threshold.
- so-called old building sleepers it is an issue that these have only a low height for barrier-free crossings allowed, but the guide for the roles of the wings in these old building sleepers protrudes because it is extremely difficult to integrate into the threshold.
- the threshold systems with a transition to the upper edge of the floor in the interior of the room and / or on the exterior of the room form a shoulder which, in addition to the protruding guide web for the rollers, can also act as a trip edge.
- a known device is in the EP 0 657 610 A2 described.
- a threshold made of metal for the frame of sliding or lifting-sliding windows and doors is proposed, which has a running rail with a guide web for the rollers of the sash-side carriage.
- a guide web is directly fixed or in one piece - that is, of the same material - molded onto the top of the threshold, this guide web having undercuts over its entire length towards the top of the threshold, so that a guide web equipped with a longitudinal gap on its underside and a guide web on the top If necessary, the supporting running rail hollow profile can be locked directly to the undercuts on the guide web of the threshold.
- the wings each have a glazing that is supported by a wing frame.
- a longitudinal recess of the sash serves in the lower frame cross profile of the movable sash to accommodate pairs of rollers that run between the sash and a roller support profile of the threshold profile during the sliding displacement of the movable sash.
- the lower frame cross profile of the sash frame of the sash fixed to the frame is supported by a support profile on the threshold profile.
- the frame profile of the wing fixed to the frame is fixed to the support profile by a plurality of fastening screws. Between the sash and the support profiles there is a pair of sash sealing profiles that seal the sash against the threshold profile.
- the known devices also require a guide web for the implementation of a secured roller guide for the rollers on the sliding sash.
- the well-known guide bars protrude above the threshold system and build with others Design variants further open the threshold system, so that the device moves away from a barrier-free system with the addition of further guide bars and a greater risk of tripping develops.
- a sliding sash or lifting / sliding sash of a window or door has a threshold system which provides a receiving groove for receiving a guide web.
- the guide web forms a running rail for the rollers of the wing-side carriages, which is arranged on the upper side of the threshold profile opposite the sliding sash and engages in the receiving groove over its entire length in a form-fitting or force-fitting manner.
- An adapter profile is preferably assigned to the threshold system, which is connected to a convex connector on its underside, which is able to engage positively and / or non-positively in the receiving groove of the threshold profile and which connects the adapter profile to the threshold profile.
- a receiving groove is provided which is similar to the receiving groove of the threshold profile and is suitable for receiving the guide web in one piece - that is, of the same material - or in two parts, the guide web with the upper edge of the running rail together with the top of the adapter profile being a flush, Form a barrier-free facility.
- a visible contact and side surface is formed on the respective sides of the adapter profile, on which an inner floor surface on the inside of the window or door and optionally different widening profiles to the transition of the outer floor surface on the outside of the room, preferably for barrier-free transitions.
- the known device causes a barrier-free transition for a sliding sash or sliding lift-and-slide sash of a window or door and improves drainage and tightness against driving rain.
- the design also offers an improved look.
- the invention is based on the object of increasing the watertightness against driving rain with an improved drainage system with further optimal optics, while maintaining a barrier-free transition without the formation of annoying gaps in the transitions between the window or door and the floor surfaces of the respective room sides an inexpensive variant is to be brought about, which can be assembled and adjusted in a simple, fast, safe and precise manner in a small space.
- a sliding sash or lifting-sliding sash of a window or door has a threshold system with the features of claim 1.
- the adapter profile is advantageously designed to be narrower on the outside of the room than the sliding sash.
- the widening profile for drainage and a barrier-free transition adapts to the adapter profile accordingly, so that the transition on the outside of the room from the window or door of the widening profile to the adapter profile is arranged below the sliding sash and is completely concealed in the closed position or in the locked position of the sliding sash is.
- the side surface of the adapter profile is arranged at least in the passage area to the outside of the room of the sliding sash of the window or the door on the top to the vertical plane of the sash of the sliding sash offset inward to the inside of the room in the direction of the receiving groove and runs in the direction of the underside of the adapter profile and the threshold profile in one at an acute angle to the leg Outside of the room and also moves away from the sliding sash.
- the inclined leg of the side surface thus forms a gap on the outside of the room between the sash and the side surface, into which a horizontal web of the widening profile is inserted and covers the gap almost without a gap.
- Both the web and the adapter profile are covered by the sash frame of the sliding sash, so that the widening profile designed for drainage moves away from the vertical plane of the sliding sash pointing to the outside of the room and is positioned below the sliding sash.
- the adapter profile and the widening profile are arranged in a virtually seamless manner, taking into account a drainage joint, so that the angled leg building up from the underside of the casement to the threshold system in the direction of the outside of the room is completely covered by the widening profile.
- the adapter profile is preferably designed as a right-angled trapezoid in cross section at least in the area of the opening width of the sliding sash of the window or door.
- the right-angled leg In the assembled state of the adapter profile in the threshold system of the window or door, the right-angled leg is directed towards the inside of the room and forms the contact surface which is flush with the floor surface of the inside of the room and at the same level on the top.
- Opposite is formed with an inclined side surface of the angled leg, the short base side of the parallel base sides of the trapezoid being flush with the top side with the widening profile and the long base side being assigned to the threshold profile.
- the inclined side surface inclines accordingly from the sliding sash, starting from the short base side and the upper side of the floor surface, in the direction of the outside of the room, so that any water that may penetrate can run off via the drainage system.
- the short base side of the adapter profile has a flat surface immediately next to the receiving groove for the guide web, which creates the sealing contact of the seals arranged on the sliding sash.
- the adapter profile is designed as a trapezoid in length from the closing-side vertical frame spar of the frame to the fixed field frame in cross section, which is the opening width of the window or door is the same and continues in a rectangular cross-section towards the end of the Fixed rock frame expires to the vertical frame spar of the window frame. It is also conceivable to form the trapezoid with a right-angled cross-section, for example in the case of an adapter profile, from an extruded profile in full length.
- the cross-section of the web is designed in one piece as an angle, with the vertical web as a one-piece structural unit or a positive and / or non-positive connection with an attachment body of the widening profile.
- the web creates a plane lying on top of the sliding sash and bridges in an overlapping manner gaps or transitions which are advantageous in terms of production technology and function.
- the angle not only is the connection to the extension body increased through dimensional stability and contact surface, but also a decisive adjustment of the attachment body to the inclined side surface is effected, whereby the respective ends of the angle can be used as a stop edge to the inclined side surface and through an offset form the required Bring out a drainage joint.
- the guide web is embedded in the receiving groove of the adapter profile and is flush with the top, the height of the receiving groove corresponding to the height of the guide web.
- the adapter profile adapts with the threshold profile and forms a modular unit.
- the threshold profile can be fixed in a form-fitting manner with the adapter profile and can be non-positively coupled by means of a latching / snap-in connection or additional fastening elements, for example fastening screws.
- the type of connection achieves a high level of tightness and prevents the ingress of water from wind loads and driving rain.
- the design and the spacing in the cross section of the adapter profile can be selected in width and height in coordination with differently designed widening profiles.
- a stable and sealing connection, as well as a simple and inexpensive variant of the adapter profile with the threshold profile in terms of production technology, are achieved in that the connecting means extends over the length of the adapter profile with an angular cross section and engages over the length of the threshold profile. Possible are also lanyards distributed in several sections, but at the expense of the advantages described above.
- a simple assembly and a secure hold of the adapter profile on the threshold profile is achieved with simple and inexpensive means in an advantageous manner that the connecting means is designed for a latching connection and / or by means of additional fastening means engaging in the receiving groove of the threshold profile.
- the adapter profile is made of a solid material or solid profile, for example, made of wood or any load-bearing material, e.g. marble, or it is designed as a hollow chamber profile made of plastic or consists of an aluminum as an extruded profile.
- the seals arranged over the entire length of the adapter profile on the underside between the threshold profile on the respective sides of the connecting means which are advantageously convexly extruded, glued or positively connected to the adapter profile, ensure a high level of tightness against possible ingress of water Wind loads and driving rain reached. They compensate for tolerances between the connection of the adapter profile and the threshold profile and have a supporting effect on the seat of the connection through a pressing behavior.
- the adapter profile with the threshold profile causes a change in the total height of the threshold system and extends over a length of the window frame, whereby additional lateral cross-section of the adapter profile at least over the length of the respective inner sides of the vertical spars Form contact and side surfaces that find space for the positioning of further connectable, combinable extension profiles that can be used adapted to the width of the threshold system.
- the dimension of the total height can be defined on the shape and functionality of the adapter profile and / or as a function of the shape of the extension profiles.
- the widening profile on the outside of the room is a drainage grate.
- the drainage grate has an attachment body with corresponding recesses for drainage drainage, which are formed in different patterns, for example, from longitudinal webs running parallel to the adapter profile, transverse webs running to the adapter profile or from perforated or angular webs.
- the attachment body is supported in a stable manner and is positioned at a distance from the spacer profile blocks, which themselves rest on the threshold profile inclined towards the outside of the room.
- the cavity formed by the spacer profile blocks between the threshold profile and the attachment body creates a channel body so that unwanted water can be automatically diverted from the window or door via the surface of the threshold profile that is inclined towards the outside of the room, before any ingress or water that has already entered.
- the direct contact of the drainage grate on the adapter profile means that water that has entered the rebate can preferably be carried out into the outside of the room in a concealed manner.
- the widening profile extends in length from the closing-side vertical frame member of the window frame to the fixed field frame, which equals the opening width of the window or door. Furthermore, the widening profile is advantageously in cross section in the direction of the inside of the room almost flush with the adapter profile and in the direction of the outside of the room forms a flush contact with the outer floor surface.
- the widening profile or the drainage grate thus covers the entire opening area of the sliding sash of the window or door, so that in the opening area of the sliding sash, water can penetrate safely and easily with simple means and with a good look by adapting to a barrier-free, level floor surface from the outside of the room can expire.
- the drainage recesses or bores on the side surface of the adapter profile are invisible and thus concealed in the area of the drainage grate, whereby the water from the rebate area of the threshold system, as well as the remaining water on the outside of the room, can run off on the outwardly inclined threshold profile .
- the object of the invention is also achieved by a sliding element, in particular a sliding or lifting-sliding sash of a window or a door with a threshold system.
- the adapter profile is independent of the fitting of the actuating linkage and can be mounted independently of the manufacture of the window or door.
- the adapter profile can be installed horizontally between the sliding sash and the fixed panel or frame. It is also conceivable to use several adapter profiles which are arranged one above the other and which can be centered with one another in the respective receiving groove.
- the window or door denoted by 1 in the figures consists essentially of an outer frame or frame 2 in which a sliding leaf 3 and a fixed panel 4 are provided for opening and closing the door 1.
- a sliding leaf 3 and a fixed panel 4 are provided for opening and closing the door 1.
- An arrow indicates the way to open the sliding sash 3.
- the sash 3 which is designed as a lift-slide sash, for example, has the sash frame 5 and the glazing 6 provided in this frame.
- the fixed field 4 consists essentially of the frame 7 and the associated glazing 8.
- Fig. 1 This is by locking on the vertical spar of the window frame 2 engaging locking elements of a fitting provided on the sash 5 of the sliding sash 3 - not shown - is locked.
- the vertical spar of the sash frame 5 of the sliding sash 3 In the joint area of the transition forming fixed field frame 7 overlapping by further - locked locking elements - not shown.
- a threshold system 9 is arranged at the lower horizontal area of the window or door 1.
- Corresponding sectional views AA and BB in Fig. 1 characterize the threshold system 9 of the sliding sash 3 or lifting-sliding sash in further Figures 2 to 5 .
- apparent threshold system 9 is designed, for example, as a thermally separated threshold and composed of several connecting profiles.
- Pipe or box profiles can be produced from metallic material, in particular aluminum, by extrusion, or consist of dimensionally stable and rot-proof plastic material and are manufactured as profiles in an extrusion process.
- the threshold system 9, in particular the threshold profile 11 can also consist entirely of metallic material, primarily aluminum, and be produced in one piece by extrusion or from a plastic material with metallic profile inserts.
- a threshold profile 11 it is also possible to use a cover profile made of wood, metal or plastic, which does not have a tubular or box-shaped cross-section, but is relatively flat and open at the bottom and which is located on the lower horizontal spar of the frame 2 made of wood or plastic can be attached.
- blind frames 2 which are built with threshold systems 9 according to the systems described above, are available for sliding or lifting-sliding windows and doors 1 in practical use and extend in the lower horizontal area over the entire length of the window or door 1.
- running rails 15 are preferred, which are designed to be relatively flat for threshold systems 9 that are suitable for the handicapped, that is to say in particular which wheelchairs can drive over, and thus have a flat running rail 15.
- a threshold system 9 with a flat and barrier-free surface with a subsequent flat transition to the floor level to the inside 23 and outside 25 of the room, which meets all requirements with regard to tightness and security against being lifted out, is described below solved by a sliding sash 3 or lifting-sliding sash of a window or door 1.
- a receiving groove 10 is provided for receiving the guide web 12 in the threshold profile 11.
- the threshold system 9 is provided with an adapter profile 16, which engages with a convex connector 18 on its underside 17 in the receiving groove 10 of the threshold profile 11 in a form-fitting and / or non-positive manner and inserts the adapter profile 16 with the threshold profile 11.
- the previously engaged guide web 12 is removed from the receiving groove 10, or the receiving groove 10 is shaped such that the connecting means 18 can be joined despite the existing guide web 12.
- a receiving groove 20 is provided on the top side 19 of the adapter profile 16 opposite to the underside 17, which is similar to the receiving groove 10 of the threshold profile 11 and is suitable for receiving the guide web 12 in one piece - i.e. made of the same material - or in two parts, the guide piece 12 with the upper edge of the running rail 15 together form a flush, barrier-free system with the top 19 of the adapter profile 16.
- a visible contact and side surface 21, 22 is formed on the respective sides of the adapter profile 16, on which an inner floor surface 24 connects to the room inside 23 of the window or door 1 and to the Room outside 25 optionally different widening profiles 26, 27 can be applied to the transition of the outer floor surface 28 for barrier-free transitions.
- the height of the contact and side surfaces 21, 22 can be determined by the shape of the adapter profile 16 and their length is limited by the respective vertical spars of the window frame 2.
- the contact surface 21 of the adapter profile 16 is vertically aligned continuously with the outer dimensions of the sliding sash 3, with the side surface 21, depending on the design of the adapter profile 16 with different widths 29 to the sliding sash 3, forming a shoulder, so that the side surface 22 for the widening profiles 26, 27 shifted accordingly below the sash 5.
- a reduced width 29 of the adapter profile 16 for example, causes the drainage grate 34 to be displaced under the sliding sash 3.
- the adapter profile 16 is made from a solid profile made of wood.
- the adapter profile 16 is designed to be narrower than the sliding sash 3.
- the widening profile 26 which is provided for drainage and for a barrier-free transition, fits the adapter profile 16 accordingly, so that the transition on the room outside 25 of the window or door 1 of the widening profile 26 to the adapter profile 16 is arranged below the sliding sash 3 and in the closed position or in the locked position of the sliding sash 3 Fig. 1 and Fig. 4 is completely covered.
- the side surface 22 of the adapter profile 16 is for example according to Fig. 2 and Fig. 4 at least in the passage area to the room outside 25 of the sliding sash 3 of the window or the door 1 on the top 19 to the vertical plane of the sash 5 of the sliding sash 3 inwardly to the inside of the room 23 offset in the direction of the receiving groove 10 and running towards the underside of the adapter profile 16 and the threshold profile 11 in a leg 46 at an acute angle to the outside of the room 25 and also moves away from the sliding sash 3 in the direction of the vertical plane of the sliding sash 3.
- the inclined leg 46 of the side surface 22 thus forms on the outside of the room 25 between the sash frame 5 and the side surface 22 a gap 42, into which a horizontal web 43 of the widening profile 26 is preferably inserted and covers the gap 42 with almost no gap.
- Both the web 43 and the adapter profile 16 are covered by the sash frame 5 of the sliding sash 3, so that the widening profile 26 designed for drainage is spaced from the vertical plane of the sliding sash 3 facing the room outside 25 and is positioned below the sliding sash 3. Even water that drips off the sliding sash 3 is diverted into the drainage system through the profile system of the window or door 1 without coming into contact with a material of the threshold system 9 that is sensitive to the weather.
- the adapter profile 16 and the widening profile 26 are arranged in a virtually seamless manner, taking into account a drainage joint 44, so that the angled leg 46 building up from the underside of the casement 5 to the threshold system 9 in the direction of the room outside 25 is completely covered by the widening profile 26.
- the adapter profile 16 is at least in the area of the opening width Fig. 9 of the sliding sash 3 of the window or door 1 in cross section Fig. 2 and Fig. 4 designed as a right-angled trapezoid.
- the right-angled leg 45 is directed towards the inside 23 of the room and forms the contact surface 21, which is flush with the bottom surface 24 of the inside 23 of the room and at the same level on the top 19.
- the angled leg 46 forms with the inclined side surface 22, whereby the short base side 47 of the parallel base sides 47, 48 of the trapezoid rests flush against the upper side 19 with the widening profile 26 and the long base side 48 is assigned to the threshold profile 11.
- the inclined side surface 22 is inclined correspondingly from the sliding sash 3 starting from the top 19 of the floor surface 24 in the direction of the outside of the room 23, so that any water that may penetrate can run off via the drainage system.
- a flat surface is preferably provided on the short base side 47 of the adapter profile 16 immediately next to the receiving groove 20 for the guide web 12, which when the sliding sash 3 is closed with lowering onto the adapter profile 16 arranged on the threshold system 9 forms a sealing contact with the seals 49 arranged on the sliding sash 3 , 50 manufactures.
- the adapter profile 16 is made of wood or marble Fig. 4
- the adapter profile 16 is designed as a trapezoid in length from the closing-side vertical frame member of the window frame 2 to the fixed field frame 5, which is the same as the opening width of the window or door 1.
- the adapter profile 16 continues in cross section in the direction of the end of the fixed field frame 7 to the vertical frame spar of the window frame 2 from. It is also conceivable - but not shown - to form the trapezoid, which is rectangular in cross section, for example in the case of an adapter profile 16 from an extruded profile in full length.
- the web 43 is formed in one piece continuing in cross section as an angle 51, the vertical web 52 entering into a form-fitting and / or force-fitting connection with an attachment body 35 of the widening profile 26.
- the web 43 establishes a plane lying on top of the sliding sash 3 and bridges interfering gaps or transitions that arise in an overlapping manner. Due to the direct connection of the angle 51 to the attachment body 35, an adaptation to the inclined side surface 22 of the adapter profile 16 solely through the attachment body 35 is decisive. Other components of the threshold system 9 are therefore not affected.
- the adaptation of the attachment body 35 to the inclined side surface 22 is simplified by the respective ends of the angle 51, whereby the ends of the angle 51 can be used as a stop edge to the inclined side surface 22 and form a desired offset by slightly moving the attachment profile 35 towards the outside of the room 25, which, in a functionally connected manner, produces the required drainage joint 44.
- the adapter profile 16 adapts Figures 2 to 8 with the threshold profile 11 and forms an integral structural unit.
- the threshold profile 11 can be fixed in a form-fitting manner with the adapter profile 16 and can be coupled in a force-fitting manner via a latching / snap-in connection or by additional fastening elements, for example fastening screws.
- the type of connection achieves a high level of tightness and prevents the ingress of water through wind loads and driving rain.
- the cross-sectional dimensions of the adapter profile 16 in width 29 and height 30 can be selected in coordination with differently designed widening profiles 26, 27.
- the width 29 of the adapter profile 16 can be produced variably, with the width 29 of it being covered over the entire area by the sliding sash 3.
- the width 29 of the adapter profile 16 - not shown - is smaller than the sliding sash 3, depending on the different designs, so that, for example, the side surface 22 is offset and the widening profile 26 protrudes under the sliding sash 3.
- the threshold system 9 can thus be universally mounted and adjusted on the most varied of widening profiles from different system manufacturers.
- the connecting means 18, which is angularly shaped in cross section and extends over the length of the adapter profile 16, ensures a tight and stable connection between the adapter profile 16 and the threshold profile 11.
- a simple assembly and a secure hold of the adapter profile 16 on the threshold profile 11 is achieved with simple and inexpensive means in an advantageous manner that the connecting means 18 for a snap connection and / or by means of additional - not shown - fastening means, for example fastening screws, in the receiving groove 10 of the threshold profile 11 is formed engagingly attached.
- the adapter profile 16 can be made from a solid material or solid profile, for example from wood or from any material that is stable, such as marble.
- the adapter profile 16 is designed as a hollow chamber profile and made of a plastic or an aluminum as an extruded profile.
- the Figures 4 to 5 show the adapter profile 16 as solid material.
- the adapter profile 16 with the threshold profile 11 causes a change in the total height 33 of the threshold system 9 and extends over a length of the respective inner sides of the vertical spars or - not shown - over the length of the entire frame 2.
- the dimension of the total height 33 can be defined on the shape and functionality of the adapter profile 16 and / or as a function of the shape of the widening profiles 26, 27.
- the drainage grate 34 has the attachment body 35 with corresponding recesses for drainage drainage, which are made in various patterns, for example, from longitudinal webs parallel to the adapter profile 16, as in FIG Figures 2 to 10 shown, transversely to the adapter profile 16 and the direction of displacement of the sliding sash 3 aligned webs or are formed from perforated or angular webs.
- the attachment body 35 is stably supported on spacer profile blocks 36 which are arranged at a distance from one another and which themselves rest on the surface 41 of the threshold profile 11, which is inclined in the direction of the room outside 25.
- the number of spacer profile blocks 36 is determined accordingly. As from the Figures 8 to 10 shown, two spacer profile blocks 36 are used. Between the threshold profile 11 and the attachment body 35, the spacer profile blocks 36 create a cavity which forms a channel body 37, so that unwanted water from a possible ingress or water already ingress via the surface 41 of the threshold profile 11 inclined to the room outside 25 automatically from the window or the Door 1 can be derived.
- the adapter profile 16 has drainage recesses or bores 38, which, starting from the receiving groove 20, run at an incline towards the outside of the room 25 in the direction of the widening profile 26.
- the widening profile 26 or the drainage grate 34 is sufficient Figures 9 and 10 in the length from the closing-side vertical frame spar of the window frame 2 to the fixed field frame 7, which is the same as the opening width of the window or door 1. Furthermore, the widening profile 26 is in cross-section in the direction of the interior 23 of the room, with the exception of a drainage joint 44, almost flush with the adapter profile 16 and forms a flush contact with the outer floor surface 28 in the direction of the exterior 25 of the room, thus covering the widening profile 26 or the drainage grate 34 the entire opening area of the sliding sash 3 of the window or door 1, so that water that may penetrate the opening area of the sliding sash 3 can drain away safely and without problems and optically advantageous by adapting to a barrier-free, flat floor surface from outside of the room 25.
- a sliding element in particular a sliding or lifting-sliding sash 3 of a window or a door 1 with a threshold system 9 is shown.
- a threshold profile 11 has a receiving groove 10 for a guide web 12 for the rollers 13 of the wing-side carriage 14 having running rail 15, which is formed on the top of the threshold profile 11 opposite the sliding sash 3 to accommodate the guide web 12.
- the guide web 12 can be inserted positively or non-positively into the receiving groove 10 over its entire length.
- the adapter profile 16 has a raised connecting means 18 on its underside 17 which is adapted to the shape of the receiving groove 10 of the threshold profile 11.
- the adapter profile 16 can be connected to the receiving groove 10 of the threshold profile 11 in a form-fitting or force-fitting manner by means of a latching / snap connection or by fastening screws.
- the adapter profile 16 has a receiving groove 20 on the opposite side of the connecting means 18, preferably on an upper side 19 opposite an axis, which is the same as the receiving groove 10 of the threshold profile 11.
- the receiving groove 20 of the adapter profile 16 accommodates the guide web 12.
- corresponding contact and side surfaces 21, 22 are formed on the respective sides, which are used for contact and positioning for different widening profiles 26, 27.
- the adapter profile 16 and the Widening profiles 26, 27 form for themselves and with the floor surface 24 of the room inside 23 and floor surface 28 of the room outside 25 a flush and level transition.

Description
The invention relates to a threshold system for a sliding sash as a sliding sash or a sliding lift-and-slide sash of a window or a door according to the preamble of claim 1.
Slidable sashes as sliding sashes or slidable lift-and-slide sashes of a window or door are known in a wide variety of designs and in the simplest case consist of a sash as a sliding sash, which is slidably arranged in an outer frame for opening and closing, and a further door that is also arranged in the frame. or window element, as an additional sliding sash or a fixed panel.
The closed sliding sash can be locked on its side facing away from the other door or window element by actuating a fitting provided in the sash frame on the frame and thus secured against unauthorized opening. Sliding sashes are usually slidably received above or below the sliding sash. When lifting / sliding sashes are opened, usually with an operating handle, the sliding sash with the seals is raised, making it easier to run on the threshold system. The opened sliding sash can then be pushed in front of an adjacent fixed panel. Lift and slide sashes can only be pushed or tilted depending on the design. When closing, the sliding sash is lowered onto the threshold system and the seals are pressed on again. Opening and closing is also possible via electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic actuators.
Derartige Bodenschwellen und Schiebeelemente sind bekannt.Such thresholds and sliding elements are known.
Sliding elements are known as sliding doors, sliding windows or balcony elements. The problem with the known sliding elements is that, due to the necessary guides for the movable wing (s), especially in the horizontal lower area of the threshold systems, a barrier-free transition is not possible, and the rollers of the sliding doors, sliding windows or balcony elements running on the guides also depend on the Exceed the threshold. Particularly in the case of so-called old building sleepers, it is an issue that these have only a low height for barrier-free crossings allowed, but the guide for the roles of the wings in these old building sleepers protrudes because it is extremely difficult to integrate into the threshold.
Another disadvantage of the known threshold systems is their poor drainage system. In the sensitive passage area of the sliding sash, the water that runs off due to wind pressure is pressed against the known sealing system of the sliding sash and penetrates the interior of the room in extreme weather situations.
Furthermore, the threshold systems with a transition to the upper edge of the floor in the interior of the room and / or on the exterior of the room form a shoulder which, in addition to the protruding guide web for the rollers, can also act as a trip edge.

The known devices also require a guide web for the implementation of a secured roller guide for the rollers on the sliding sash. The well-known guide bars protrude above the threshold system and build with others Design variants further open the threshold system, so that the device moves away from a barrier-free system with the addition of further guide bars and a greater risk of tripping develops.

The known device causes a barrier-free transition for a sliding sash or sliding lift-and-slide sash of a window or door and improves drainage and tightness against driving rain. The design also offers an improved look.
The invention is based on the object of increasing the watertightness against driving rain with an improved drainage system with further optimal optics, while maintaining a barrier-free transition without the formation of annoying gaps in the transitions between the window or door and the floor surfaces of the respective room sides an inexpensive variant is to be brought about, which can be assembled and adjusted in a simple, fast, safe and precise manner in a small space.
To solve this problem, a sliding sash or lifting-sliding sash of a window or door has a threshold system with the features of claim 1.
To protect the basic profile of the sliding sash or lifting-sliding sash and the frame of a window or a door with the threshold system from the effects of the weather, especially in systems made of wood or wood-aluminum constructions, and to improve the drainage system, this is made of wood in one possible variant The adapter profile is advantageously designed to be narrower on the outside of the room than the sliding sash. For this purpose, the widening profile for drainage and a barrier-free transition adapts to the adapter profile accordingly, so that the transition on the outside of the room from the window or door of the widening profile to the adapter profile is arranged below the sliding sash and is completely concealed in the closed position or in the locked position of the sliding sash is.
The side surface of the adapter profile is arranged at least in the passage area to the outside of the room of the sliding sash of the window or the door on the top to the vertical plane of the sash of the sliding sash offset inward to the inside of the room in the direction of the receiving groove and runs in the direction of the underside of the adapter profile and the threshold profile in one at an acute angle to the leg Outside of the room and also moves away from the sliding sash. The inclined leg of the side surface thus forms a gap on the outside of the room between the sash and the side surface, into which a horizontal web of the widening profile is inserted and covers the gap almost without a gap. Both the web and the adapter profile are covered by the sash frame of the sliding sash, so that the widening profile designed for drainage moves away from the vertical plane of the sliding sash pointing to the outside of the room and is positioned below the sliding sash. Advantageously, even water that drips off the sliding sash is diverted from the profile system of the window or door into the drainage system without coming into contact with a material of the threshold system that is sensitive to the weather. The adapter profile and the widening profile are arranged in a virtually seamless manner, taking into account a drainage joint, so that the angled leg building up from the underside of the casement to the threshold system in the direction of the outside of the room is completely covered by the widening profile.
The adapter profile is preferably designed as a right-angled trapezoid in cross section at least in the area of the opening width of the sliding sash of the window or door. In the assembled state of the adapter profile in the threshold system of the window or door, the right-angled leg is directed towards the inside of the room and forms the contact surface which is flush with the floor surface of the inside of the room and at the same level on the top. Opposite is formed with an inclined side surface of the angled leg, the short base side of the parallel base sides of the trapezoid being flush with the top side with the widening profile and the long base side being assigned to the threshold profile. The inclined side surface inclines accordingly from the sliding sash, starting from the short base side and the upper side of the floor surface, in the direction of the outside of the room, so that any water that may penetrate can run off via the drainage system.
For secure sealing in the closed position of the sliding sash to the threshold system, the short base side of the adapter profile has a flat surface immediately next to the receiving groove for the guide web, which creates the sealing contact of the seals arranged on the sliding sash.
Simple and inexpensive to manufacture and with optical advantages, especially when the adapter profile is made of wood or marble, it turns out that the adapter profile is designed as a trapezoid in length from the closing-side vertical frame spar of the frame to the fixed field frame in cross section, which is the opening width of the window or door is the same and continues in a rectangular cross-section towards the end of the Fixed rock frame expires to the vertical frame spar of the window frame. It is also conceivable to form the trapezoid with a right-angled cross-section, for example in the case of an adapter profile, from an extruded profile in full length.
Equally advantageous in terms of function, assembly and costs, it has been confirmed that the cross-section of the web is designed in one piece as an angle, with the vertical web as a one-piece structural unit or a positive and / or non-positive connection with an attachment body of the widening profile. The web creates a plane lying on top of the sliding sash and bridges in an overlapping manner gaps or transitions which are advantageous in terms of production technology and function. With the angle, not only is the connection to the extension body increased through dimensional stability and contact surface, but also a decisive adjustment of the attachment body to the inclined side surface is effected, whereby the respective ends of the angle can be used as a stop edge to the inclined side surface and through an offset form the required Bring out a drainage joint.
To create a flat, trip-free surface, it is advantageous that the guide web is embedded in the receiving groove of the adapter profile and is flush with the top, the height of the receiving groove corresponding to the height of the guide web.
To realize the above advantages, the adapter profile adapts with the threshold profile and forms a modular unit. The threshold profile can be fixed in a form-fitting manner with the adapter profile and can be non-positively coupled by means of a latching / snap-in connection or additional fastening elements, for example fastening screws. The type of connection achieves a high level of tightness and prevents the ingress of water from wind loads and driving rain.
In order to improve the existing appearance of the window or door and to achieve simple and inexpensive production, the design and the spacing in the cross section of the adapter profile can be selected in width and height in coordination with differently designed widening profiles.
A stable and sealing connection, as well as a simple and inexpensive variant of the adapter profile with the threshold profile in terms of production technology, are achieved in that the connecting means extends over the length of the adapter profile with an angular cross section and engages over the length of the threshold profile. Possible are also lanyards distributed in several sections, but at the expense of the advantages described above.
A simple assembly and a secure hold of the adapter profile on the threshold profile is achieved with simple and inexpensive means in an advantageous manner that the connecting means is designed for a latching connection and / or by means of additional fastening means engaging in the receiving groove of the threshold profile.
In order to achieve the above advantages, the adapter profile is made of a solid material or solid profile, for example, made of wood or any load-bearing material, e.g. marble, or it is designed as a hollow chamber profile made of plastic or consists of an aluminum as an extruded profile.
The seals arranged over the entire length of the adapter profile on the underside between the threshold profile on the respective sides of the connecting means, which are advantageously convexly extruded, glued or positively connected to the adapter profile, ensure a high level of tightness against possible ingress of water Wind loads and driving rain reached. They compensate for tolerances between the connection of the adapter profile and the threshold profile and have a supporting effect on the seat of the connection through a pressing behavior.
An advantageous development can also be seen in the fact that the adapter profile with the threshold profile causes a change in the total height of the threshold system and extends over a length of the window frame, whereby additional lateral cross-section of the adapter profile at least over the length of the respective inner sides of the vertical spars Form contact and side surfaces that find space for the positioning of further connectable, combinable extension profiles that can be used adapted to the width of the threshold system. The dimension of the total height can be defined on the shape and functionality of the adapter profile and / or as a function of the shape of the extension profiles.
It is particularly advantageous that the widening profile on the outside of the room is a drainage grate. The drainage grate has an attachment body with corresponding recesses for drainage drainage, which are formed in different patterns, for example, from longitudinal webs running parallel to the adapter profile, transverse webs running to the adapter profile or from perforated or angular webs. The attachment body is supported in a stable manner and is positioned at a distance from the spacer profile blocks, which themselves rest on the threshold profile inclined towards the outside of the room. The cavity formed by the spacer profile blocks between the threshold profile and the attachment body creates a channel body so that unwanted water can be automatically diverted from the window or door via the surface of the threshold profile that is inclined towards the outside of the room, before any ingress or water that has already entered.
The direct contact of the drainage grate on the adapter profile means that water that has entered the rebate can preferably be carried out into the outside of the room in a concealed manner.
To realize the above advantages, the widening profile extends in length from the closing-side vertical frame member of the window frame to the fixed field frame, which equals the opening width of the window or door. Furthermore, the widening profile is advantageously in cross section in the direction of the inside of the room almost flush with the adapter profile and in the direction of the outside of the room forms a flush contact with the outer floor surface. The widening profile or the drainage grate thus covers the entire opening area of the sliding sash of the window or door, so that in the opening area of the sliding sash, water can penetrate safely and easily with simple means and with a good look by adapting to a barrier-free, level floor surface from the outside of the room can expire.
A functional expansion of the adapter profile with regard to increasing the security against possible ingress of water, which may possibly collect in the threshold profile, becomes effective in that the adapter profile has drainage recesses or bores which, starting from the receiving groove of the adapter profile or the rebate area of the threshold system, to the sliding sash to the outside of the room in the direction of the widening profile or drainage grate. Preferably, the drainage recesses or bores on the side surface of the adapter profile are invisible and thus concealed in the area of the drainage grate, whereby the water from the rebate area of the threshold system, as well as the remaining water on the outside of the room, can run off on the outwardly inclined threshold profile .
The object of the invention is also achieved by a sliding element, in particular a sliding or lifting-sliding sash of a window or a door with a threshold system.
In addition, it has proven to be advantageous for the function, assembly and costs of the fitting that the adapter profile is independent of the fitting of the actuating linkage and can be mounted independently of the manufacture of the window or door. The adapter profile can be installed horizontally between the sliding sash and the fixed panel or frame. It is also conceivable to use several adapter profiles which are arranged one above the other and which can be centered with one another in the respective receiving groove.
