Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a pole grip, in particular for walking sticks, trekking poles, alpine ski poles, cross-country poles, Nordic walking poles, with a handle body and with a hand strap, the hand strap is adjustable in length.
  • Walking sticks, trekking poles, alpine skis, cross-country poles, as well as Nordic walking sticks usually have at their upper end a stick handle, which is grasped by the hand.
  • a hand strap is usually attached to this stick handle, through which the hand is passed before grasping the stick handle.
  • Such hand straps are usually adjustable to different hand sizes and use with or without gloves by their length can be varied. There are in this respect a variety of ways to attach hand loops on the pole handle variable.
  • US 3,113,786 discloses an adjustable-length wrist strap, wherein the first end of the loop is fixed in the handle and the second end in the desired length outside the handle with a transversely aligned to the pole axis fastener can be attached, while the remaining part of the second loop end by the handle is inserted into the pole tube.
  • EP 1 819 406 discloses such a handle with an improved hand strap usage locking mechanism.
  • such a handle has the disadvantage that when the handle is made of a soft material, such as foam material or cork, the handle material can be quickly worn at the point of entry and exit of the wrist strap by abrasion caused by stress.
  • Existing systems also have the disadvantage of insufficient stability when the handles are made of soft material.
  • the invention is therefore inter alia the object of providing an improved pole grip available, which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art.
  • a pole grip with a secure locking mechanism for the loop length is to be made available, which is easy to manufacture, and in which the handle material is protected against tensile stress and against abrasion through the wrist strap.
