Definitions
- the invention relates to a flushing device for a sanitary facility, in particular a toilet or urinal flush, with a cold water supply line, with a warm water supply line, with a valve arrangement for letting in the water flowing in through the cold water line and the hot water line, with a water drainage line for draining the water let in by the valve arrangement , wherein at least one temperature sensor is provided for measuring the water temperature in the cold water supply line and / or the hot water supply line and for generating at least one temperature signal, wherein a controller for actuating the valve arrangement generates a control signal as a function of the temperature signal and wherein the valve arrangement as a function of the control signal water drains through the water drainage.
- the invention also relates to a toilet flush and a urinal flush.
- Drinking water installations are subject to strict requirements for the quality of the hot water and cold water contained in the drinking water system in order to guarantee hygienically perfect drinking water.
- idle times for cold and hot water in the pipes must be avoided. Because both warming up the cold water and cooling the warm water to room temperature in a range from 15 ° C to 25 ° C, water temperatures can arise over a longer period of time, which promote the multiplication of germs, especially Legionella.
- a flushing station is arranged at the respective end of a water line, for example at the end of a floor of a residential building or a hospital.
- the flushing station enables cold and / or warm water to be specifically drained into a separate drain in order to enable the water in the respective line to be exchanged.
- flushing the toilet enables water to be drained from a cold water pipe.
- the flushing technology is provided with a timer and the flushing station is activated when a specified time interval is exceeded after a last flush. This mechanism always takes the same amount of cold water at the same maximum time intervals from the cold water line for refilling the cistern.
- a flushing station in which a cold water pipe and a hot water pipe are connected.
- a manually activated flushing process water is diverted into the cistern by means of a mixing valve.
- the water pipes are only rinsed when the cistern is operated manually. Long downtimes are just not avoided
- Flushing devices known from the prior art for a sanitary facility are described, for example, in the documents DE 20 2014 105702 U1 , EP 2 500 475 A2 , GB 2,478,124 A and EP 0 675 234 A1 described.
- the present invention is therefore based on the technical problem of simplifying compliance with quality criteria for the supply of cold water and / or hot water and preferably improving it with regard to water consumption.
- a flushing device for a sanitary facility in particular a toilet or urinal flush of the type mentioned, in that the control transmits the control signal to a cistern valve arrangement and that the water drain triggered by the cistern valve arrangement actuates the valve arrangement.
- a flushing device is thus specified which only carries out a flushing process for the cold water line and / or hot water line that is fed in when the measured temperature profile makes this flushing process necessary. In this way, on the one hand, necessary rinsing processes are carried out more frequently than with a predetermined time rhythm, especially in the case of extreme environmental influences due to high or low room temperatures.
- both cold and hot water lines can be designed so that they can be checked independently of one another by temperature sensors and can be flushed with the flushing device described to exactly the extent necessary to maintain high water quality, but at the same time minimize water and energy consumption.
- the temperature signal or the temperature signals are evaluated in the controller and the corresponding control signal is output according to a specified algorithm.
- the valve arrangement preferably has two separate valves which are controlled separately by the control signal or by an associated control signal, that is to say are opened or closed.
- the valves are designed as electric motors and can therefore be controlled independently of one another.
- the valve arrangement can be designed as a mixing valve, so that water at a predeterminable temperature can be drained off with a control signal via the water outlet.
- the mixing valve can be equipped with an expansion element or it can be operated electrically. When used with an expansion element, there is no need for an electrical power supply; the expansion element is then mechanically set to a predetermined temperature. When used with electrical actuation, the mixing valve can be controlled more precisely and variably.
- the temperature sensor measures the temperature of the water in the cold water supply line and the control generates the control signal when the water temperature is exceeded above a first temperature limit value.
- the or a further temperature sensor can measure the temperature of the water in the hot water supply line and the control can generate the control signal when the water temperature falls below a temperature limit value. In this way, excessive cooling of the hot water is detected and rectified by flushing the flushing device into a sanitary facility.
- the controller In a preferred manner, the controller generates the control signal as a function of the duration of the overshooting or undershooting of the first or second temperature limit value. In this way, too frequent flushing processes are avoided if the temperature signal fluctuates around the respective temperature limit value.
- valve arrangement sets the water temperature of the mixed water below a third temperature value. It can thus be avoided that the temperature of the water let into the sanitary facility is not too hot.
- the third temperature value can be 30.degree.
- the valve arrangement takes primarily from the cold water supply line or the hot water supply line water, the water temperature of which has exceeded or fallen below the limit value. This avoids unnecessary flushing amounts of water from the line in which the temperature of the water fed into it is correct.
- This control can easily be accomplished with a valve arrangement with two separate valves.
- a temperature specification can also be transferred from the control to the mixing valve in order to drain off rather cold or rather warm water.
- the technical problem shown above is also solved by flushing the toilet with a flushing device described above, with a cistern for receiving a predetermined amount of water and with a cistern valve arrangement for, preferably gush-like, draining at least part of the amount of water contained in the cistern for flushing a toilet, the Cistern valve arrangement enables electrical actuation, the control transmitting the control signal to the cistern valve arrangement, the cistern valve arrangement draining water from the cistern in a conventional manner and a water level measuring device deactivating the valve arrangement of the flushing device when a predetermined water level within the cistern is reached.
- the control of the flush valve thus transmits the control signal to the cistern valve arrangement and the water drainage triggered by the cistern valve arrangement stops, for example by means of a float mechanism, the valve arrangement of the flushing device.
- the controller thus initiates the flushing process of flushing the toilet, which is then terminated in a conventional manner by the mechanics or electromechanics of the cistern, for example by the controller switching off the control signal for the flushing device.
- the same amount of mixed water released by the flushing device is drained from the cold and hot water pipes, with only cold water or only hot water being able to be drained from the flushing device in the borderline case.
- the technical problem shown above is also solved by flushing the toilet with a flushing device described above, with a cistern for receiving a predetermined amount of water, with a cistern valve arrangement for, preferably gush-like, draining at least part of the amount of water contained in the cistern for flushing a toilet and with an overflow to the Draining water from the cistern beyond a predetermined water level in the cistern without actuating the cistern valve arrangement, the controller transmitting the control signal to the flushing device, the flushing device releasing water into the cistern via the water drainage and wherein water from the cistern drains over the overflow .
- control transmits the control signal directly to the valve arrangement and both the valve arrangement opens (activated) by the control signal and closes again (deactivated) by switching over the control signal.
- flow of water from the flushing device into the cistern is not dependent on the filling level of the cistern, but is determined solely by the control.
- the water present in the cistern at the beginning of a flushing process is therefore not drained through the cistern valve arrangement in a predetermined amount, but the amount of water drained by the flushing device is drained from the predetermined water level via the overflow inside the cistern.
- This amount can be smaller or larger than in a normal flushing process of a cistern, approx. 6 to 9 liters. The water quality can thus be better controlled and maintained.
- Another advantage is that the amount of water drained off is drained off evenly and not in a surge. As a result, fewer noises are generated during an automatic flushing process, which could have a disruptive or irritating effect on people present in the vicinity.
- Fig. 1 shows a flushing device 2 for a sanitary facility 4, which in the present case is only shown schematically as a toilet flush.
- the flushing device is connected to a cold water supply line 6 and to a hot water supply line 8. Furthermore, there are a valve arrangement 10 for admitting the water flowing in through the cold water line 6 and the hot water line 8 and a water discharge line 12 for draining the water admitted by the valve arrangement 10.
- a temperature sensor 14 or 16 for measuring the water temperature in the cold water supply line 6 or the hot water supply line 8 and is provided in each case for generating at least one temperature signal T K or T W.
- the temperature signals T K and T W are fed to a controller 18 which generates a control signal S for actuating the valve arrangement 10 as a function of the temperature signals T K and T W.
- the control signal S then causes the valve arrangement 10 to drain water through the water drainage 12 as a function of the control signal S.
- the valve arrangement 10 can be actuated directly or indirectly by the control signal S.
- the valve arrangement 10 shown can either have two separate valves or be designed as a mixing valve.
- the symbol used in the Fig. 1 should apply equally to both variants. If two separate valves are provided, the two lines 6 and 8 can each be flushed individually in a simple manner.
- the valve can either be equipped with an expansion element or it can be operated electrically. When used with an expansion element, there is no need for an electrical power supply to set a mixing ratio between hot and cold water; the expansion element is then mechanically set to a predetermined temperature. When used with electrical actuation, the mixing valve can be controlled more precisely and variably.
- the temperature sensor 14 measures the temperature of the water in the cold water feed line 6 and the controller 18 when exceeding the water temperature T K is above a first threshold temperature T 1, a control signal S 1 generated.
- the temperature sensor 16 measures the temperature of the water in the hot water supply line 8 and the controller 18 produces when falling below the water temperature T W is below a temperature limit value T 2, the control signal S2.
- the controller 16 can generate the control signal S 1 or S 2 as a function of the duration of the overshooting or undershooting of the first or second temperature limit value. In this way, fluctuations in the temperature measurement or the temperature development can be compensated for.
- control signals S 1 and S 2 described can be the same or different in terms of their signal strength or coding.
- control signal S 1 can control the functioning of the valve 10a connected to the cold water line 6 and the control signal S 2 can control the functioning of the valve 10b connected to the hot water line 8.
- both control signals S 1 and S 2 are the same and can be referred to as control signal S
- both valves 10a and 10b are actuated by the common control signal S in the same way.
- the valves 10a and 10b are controlled electromechanically in a known manner.
- valve arrangement 10 is designed as a mixing valve and represents a mixing fitting, then the two control signals S 1 and S 2 can likewise be the same or different in terms of their signal strength or coding. If different control signals S 1 and S 2 are used, the valve arrangement 10 can either only or preferably discharge either cold water or hot water. If, on the other hand, only a common control signal is used - as described - then the valve arrangement 10 is activated in the same way, regardless of which water line produces a corresponding temperature signal T K or T W.
- the mixing valve is controlled electromechanically in a known manner.
- valve arrangement 10 can set the water temperature of the mixed water below a third temperature value T 3 on the basis of the control signal S or the control signals S 1 or S 2 . This serves in particular to avoid an excessively high temperature of the water let into the cistern.
- valve arrangement 10 takes water primarily from the cold water supply line 6 or the hot water supply line 8, depending on which of the lines 6 or 8 the water temperature exceeds the temperature limit T 1 or T 2 has exceeded or fallen below.
- the line is preferably rinsed, the water temperature of which requires a rinsing process.
- Fig. 2 shows a toilet flush 20 according to the invention with a previously based on Fig. 1 described flushing device 2.
- the toilet flush 20 has in a known manner a cistern 22 for receiving a predetermined amount of water and a cistern valve arrangement 24 for flushing out at least part of the amount of water contained in the cistern 22 for flushing a toilet.
- the cistern valve arrangement 24 is designed electromechanically and enables electrical actuation as a function of a control signal.
- the controller 18 generates the control signal S or S 1 or S 2 and transmits it to the valve arrangement 10 and to the cistern valve arrangement 24.
- the cistern valve arrangement 24 lets water out of the cistern 22 as a function of the control signal S or S 1 or S 2 and at the same time the flushing device 2 with the valve arrangement 10 lets water into the cistern.
- a conventional water level measuring device for example a float (not shown), then deactivates the valve arrangement 10 when a predetermined water level within the cistern 22 is reached.
- the water level measuring device generates a signal that is evaluated by the controller and the control signal when the predetermined water level is reached S or S 1 or S 2 switches. The flushing device 2 is thus switched off indirectly by the water level measuring device.
- the illustrated toilet flush 20 is thus able that the controller 18 transmits the control signal S 1 or S 2 to the cistern valve arrangement 24 and that the water drain triggered by the cistern valve arrangement 24 indirectly actuates the valve arrangement 10 and terminates the water inlet. In this way, every time a detected temperature deviation occurs, the toilet flush 20 itself is actuated and a predetermined amount of water is dispensed.
- Fig. 2 further shows, two conventional buttons 26 and 28 are provided for manual actuation of the toilet flush 20 which, when actuated, trigger a corresponding control signal M 1 or M 2 to the controller 18.
- the two switches 26 and 28 can trigger a short flush and a full flush in a known manner.
- the toilet flush 20 has, in the usual manner, an overflow 32 for draining off Above a predetermined water level in the cistern 22 also contained water from the cistern 22 without actuation of the cistern valve arrangement 24.
- the controller 18 transmits the control signal S or S 1 or S 2 to the flushing device 10, so that the flushing device 10 discharges water into the cistern 22 via the water drainage line 12. Water from the cistern 22 then runs off via the overflow 32 above a predetermined water level. Thus, for flushing the cold water line 6 and / or the hot water line 8, a required amount of water is drained into the cistern 22 and via the overflow 32 into the drain 30 without the cistern valve arrangement 24 having to be actuated. A surge-like discharge of water can thus be avoided and only the amount of water that is necessary for sufficient flushing of the lines 6 and / or 8 can be drained off.
- the toilet flush 20 is thus designed such that the controller 18 transmits the control signal S or S 1 or S 2 directly to the valve arrangement 10 and directly controls the starting and stopping of the water supply.
- the controller 18 is set up in such a way that the control signal S or S 1 or S 2 is deactivated when the first or second temperature limit value T 1 and / or T 2 is reached again.
- the amount of water to be drained can be adjusted very precisely to the temperature conditions.
- the toilet flushing shown above can also be used as a urinal flush with a flushing device 2 in the same way Fig. 1 be trained.
- Fig. 3 shows the flushing device 2 and toilet flushing 20 described above in a water supply system 40 on a floor of a residential building.
- a supply line 6 for cold water and a supply line 8 for hot water are installed on the floor.
- Lines 6 and 8 are shown interrupted and only the last bathroom on the floor along lines 6 and 8 is shown. In In this bathroom, both lines are connected, for example, to a wash basin 42 and a shower 44, so that water can be taken from there.
- the lines 6 and 8 are connected to a toilet flush 20 described above.
- the temperature is equalized with the ambient temperature.
- the temperature of the water contained in lines 6 and 8 can - as described - exceed or fall below predetermined limit values T 1 and / or T 2.
- the toilet flush 20 or the flushing device 2 can then be actuated in such a way that water is automatically withdrawn from the lines 6 and / or 8. A long-lasting stagnation of the water in the pipe and the possible hygienic disadvantages can thus be avoided effectively and with low water and energy consumption.
Description

- Weiterhin zeigt
Fig. 1 , dass jeweils ein Temperatursensor 14 bzw.
Fig. 1 ausgebildet sein. -
