Definitions
- the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner filter bag comprising a bag wall and a holding plate connected to the bag wall, the bag wall having a film area in which a plastic film is arranged.
- Such vacuum cleaner filter bags are known, for example from EP 3 066 968 .
- the plastic film is often a transparent film.
- the film area is then transparent, making it possible to visually determine how full the vacuum cleaner filter bag is.
- viewing windows in the area of the holding plate have the advantage that they are best visible.
- foils are also used for other purposes, for example to prevent a filter cake from building up or to reduce abrasion of the filter material in particularly stressed areas inside the bag. Foils in the area of the bag wall are still from the EP 2 025 278 and the DE 20 2008 004 025 known.
- the EP 3 066 968 also describes non-transparent foils in the area of the holding plate in order to facilitate the insertion of the holding plate into the corresponding receptacle in the vacuum cleaner housing.
- the plastic film forms the outermost layer of the bag wall in this area.
- the holding plate is connected to the plastic film.
- a filter bag for vacuum cleaners is known with an elastic sealing membrane, which is arranged between the bag wall and the holding plate and welded to the bag wall and the holding plate around a connection opening.
- the DE 20 2004 008 971 U1 discloses a dust filter bag with a bag wall, which has an inlet opening, and a retaining plate, which has a through-opening arranged in alignment with the inlet opening, with a sealing ring projecting radially inwards with respect to the through-opening.
- the sealing ring is formed by a separate sealing membrane made of plastic material, which is larger in terms of surface area than the through-opening and is attached to the outside of the bag wall by means of a circumferential ultrasonic weld connection.
- the retaining plate is fastened to the outside of the sealing membrane by means of a circumferential ultrasonic weld.
- the retaining plate is not only connected to the plastic film, but also to a non-woven material element which partially overlaps the plastic film.
- the nonwoven element has at least one part which is connected, in particular directly, to the part of the bag wall surrounding the film area.
- a "region" refers to a three-dimensional portion of an element that is characterized by one or more specific properties.
- the film area of the bag wall is the three-dimensional part of the bag wall in which the plastic film is arranged.
- the plastic film can be transparent or non-transparent.
- the plastic film can in particular be referred to as transparent or transparent if the proportion of visible light that can pass through the plastic film is at least 25%, in particular at least 50%. In particular, this portion can pass through the plastic film in such a way that an image of an object lying behind it is possible. In other words, the transmitted light is not diffused light.
- the first partial area of the film area thus forms a transparent area of the bag wall, which enables a visual insight into the interior of the vacuum cleaner filter bag.
- the transparent area thus forms a kind of viewing window in the bag wall.
- a net or another transparent element can also be connected to the bag wall and overlap with the first partial area, with the net or the other transparent element being designed in such a way that they do not allow visual insight into the interior of the vacuum cleaner filter bag through the transparent area impede.
- the first sub-area of the film area does not have to be continuous.
- the first partial area can comprise at least two parts which are separated from one another by the second partial area of the foil area.
- the part of the bag wall surrounding the film area refers here to the part of the bag wall that adjoins, in particular directly, the area in which the plastic film is arranged.
- the holding plate can be attachable to a holding device in a vacuum cleaner housing.
- the retaining plate can be arranged, in particular fixed, in a predetermined position in the vacuum cleaner housing.
- the vacuum cleaner filter bag can be slid over a connection piece on the vacuum cleaner side with the aid of the holding plate.
- the plastic film can be referred to here as non-transparent or opaque in particular if the proportion of visible light that can pass through the plastic film is less than 25%, in particular less than 10%.
- the plastic film can also be described as non-transparent or opaque if the proportion of visible light that can pass through the plastic film is more than 25%, but this proportion passes through the plastic film in such a way that an image of an object behind it is not possible. In other words, the transmitted light is then diffused light.
- the nonwoven element can be made of the same material as the bag wall surrounding the film area.
- the nonwoven element can in particular be formed in one piece with the bag wall surrounding the film area.
- the nonwoven element is not a separate element connected to the bag wall surrounding the film area, but rather an integral part therewith. This can be achieved in that the part of the bag wall surrounding the film area comprises one or more layers of non-woven material and the non-woven material element is formed as the remaining part of these non-woven material layers in one or between several punched-out portions.
- the non-woven element has a through-opening which is arranged concentrically to a through-opening in the plastic film and a through-opening in the holding plate.
- an inflow opening can be formed through which dust-laden air can enter the interior of the bag.
- a nozzle of a vacuum cleaner on the Passage opening in the holding plate and the passage openings in the plastic film and the nonwoven element are at least partially introduced into the vacuum cleaner filter bag.
- the nonwoven element has an annular area surrounding the passage opening, which is connected via at least one web to the part of the bag wall surrounding the film area, and the retaining plate is connected to the nonwoven element in the annular area.
- the ring-shaped area can be dimensioned in such a way that it is completely connected, in particular welded, to the holding plate. This creates no different optics for direct connection of the retaining plate with the transparent plastic film, such as from the ring-shaped area EP 3 066 968 known.
- the main optical difference in this example is the at least one web via which the ring-shaped area is connected to the part of the bag wall surrounding the film area.
- the web can be dimensioned significantly smaller than the first partial area.
- the area of the overlapping area of the web with the plastic film is therefore smaller than the area of the first partial area.
- these can connect the ring-shaped area in particular to opposite sides of the part of the bag wall surrounding the film area. This enables a particularly advantageous stabilization and localization of the non-woven material of the bag wall and the non-woven material element during production.
- the webs can connect the ring-shaped area to the part of the bag wall surrounding the film area in pairs on opposite sides of the film area.
- the term "annular” herein is not limited to the shape of an annulus.
- the actual shape of the ring-shaped area can be adapted to the shape of the area of the retaining plate provided for connection to the bag wall.
- the ring-shaped area can represent a closed area surrounding the passage opening in the plastic film and in the nonwoven element.
- the ring-shaped area can extend between a closed inner and a closed outer boundary line.
- the boundary lines can be circular, elliptical or of any other shape.
- the boundary lines can have at least one web cross. The division into “annular area” and “bar” only serves to describe the geometry of the nonwoven element.
- the ring-shaped area and the at least one web are integral components of the nonwoven element described here and merge into one another.
- the outer boundary of the film area can be rectangular or square.
- the plastic film can be rectangular or square.
- the plastic film can also have other shapes, for example round or oval.
- the outer boundary can be formed by a welded seam, which connects the plastic film to the non-woven fabric of the bag wall. This weld seam can at the same time be part of the part of the bag wall surrounding or delimiting the film area, or correspond to it.
- a “web” is understood to mean an element which starts from an edge of the outer boundary and connects this edge to another element of the nonwoven element, for example to the annular area.
- the web is rectangular or square in plan view of the part of the bag wall that includes the film area.
- other geometries are also conceivable.
- two ridges can connect two opposite sides or edges of the perimeter to the annular region.
- the holding plate and the plastic film can be arranged in such a way that the nonwoven element is located between the holding plate and the plastic film.
- the holding plate and the plastic film can be arranged in such a way that the plastic film is located between the holding plate and the nonwoven element.
- the bag wall of the vacuum cleaner filter bag in particular the part of the bag wall surrounding the film area and the fleece element, can comprise one or more filter material layers, in particular one or more fleece layers.
- Vacuum cleaner filter bags with multiple layers of filter material are, for example, from EP 2 011 556 or the EP 0 960 645 known.
- a wide variety of plastics can be used as the material for the nonwoven layers, for example polypropylene and/or polyester.
- the bag wall of the vacuum cleaner filter bag can also include recycled plastic. For example, the bag wall as in FIG EP 3 219 376 A1 described be trained.
- nonwoven is used according to the definition according to ISO Standard ISO9092:1988 or CEM Standard EN29092.
- fiber fleece or fleece and fleece in the field of the production of fleece are differentiated from one another as follows and are also to be understood in the sense of the present invention.
- Fibers and/or filaments are used to produce a nonwoven fabric.
- the loose or loose and still unbonded fibers and/or filaments are referred to as fleece or batt (web).
- a non-woven fabric of this type is finally produced from such a non-woven fabric, which has sufficient strength to be wound up into rolls, for example.
- a non-woven fabric is made self-supporting as a result of the consolidation.
- the plastic film can be directly connected, in particular welded, to the one or more layers of nonwoven fabric of the bag wall.
- the plastic film can be directly connected, in particular welded, to the at least one web of the nonwoven element.
- the at least one web can also be used to connect the holding plate to the bag wall, which further increases the stability of the connection between the holding plate and the bag wall.
- the plastic film can be blown film or cast film.
- a foil is an element whose thickness is significantly less than its extension perpendicular to it (length and width).
- the film can have an, in particular constant, thickness of less than 300 ⁇ m, for example 100 ⁇ m.
- the plastic film can be made of polypropylene, PP, polyethylene, PE, polyethylene terephthalate, PET, polyamide, PA, or polycarbonate, PC.
- the invention provides in claim 4 a method for producing a vacuum cleaner filter bag, in particular a vacuum cleaner filter bag described above.
- a method for producing a vacuum cleaner filter bag in particular a vacuum cleaner filter bag described above.
- at least one through-opening is punched in a nonwoven web, so that a nonwoven-free area is formed in the nonwoven web.
- the non-woven fabric-free area is formed in such a way that a non-woven fabric element remains after punching, which is arranged between two opposite edge portions of the non-woven fabric-free area and from is spaced apart from the opposite edge sections by a partial area of the nonwoven-free area.
- the nonwoven element remains as part of the nonwoven web after the at least one through opening has been punched, which significantly simplifies production and alignment.
- the through-opening forms the nonwoven-free area. If more than one through-opening is punched, the fleece-free area is formed by a combination of the punched through-openings.
- the non-woven fabric-free area can include several non-contiguous sub-areas and/or several contiguous sub-areas.
- the partial areas can each be formed by one of the through-openings.
- the nonwoven element is arranged between two opposite edge sections. That is, there are two edge portions of the edge of the non-woven fabric-free area which are opposite to each other and between which the non-woven fabric element is arranged. There can also be several pairs of opposite edge sections of the edge of the non-woven fabric-free area, between which the non-woven fabric element is arranged.
- the nonwoven element can be arranged completely or partially between two opposite edge sections. Further edge sections can also be arranged between the opposing edge sections.
- the edge of the non-woven fabric-free area is formed by the combination of the edges of the through openings.
- the edge of the non-woven fabric-free area can therefore also comprise a number of non-contiguous edge sections.
- the fleece-free area can be formed by two separate, that is to say non-contiguous, through openings. In this case, the edge of the non-woven fabric-free area consists of the non-contiguous edges of the two through-openings.
- the through-opening can be formed in the plastic film at the same time as the through-opening is formed in the nonwoven element. However, it would also be conceivable that the Passage opening is formed in the nonwoven element before the passage opening in the plastic film.
- the nonwoven web can be cut to size and the vacuum cleaner filter bag can be made up.
- the vacuum cleaner filter bag can be produced as a flat bag.
- an upper layer can be circumferentially welded to a lower layer, with the film area with the holding plate being arranged in the upper layer, for example.
- two through-openings can be punched, which are formed symmetrically to an axis of symmetry running in the machine direction, in particular the through-openings being punched in such a way that the nonwoven element remains between the through-openings.
- the nonwoven element can be partially arranged between two of the more than two through-openings.
- the area of the nonwoven web in which the nonwoven area and the nonwoven element are arranged can have a rectangular, in particular square, boundary.
- the nonwoven element Before the passage opening is formed, the nonwoven element comprises an area in the form of a disc and at least one web which connects the area in the form of a disc to the rest of the nonwoven web.
- the region in the form of a disc forms, as it were, a broadening of the nonwoven element running transversely to the machine direction.
- the passage opening is then formed there and the retaining plate is attached.
- the area in the form of a disk is formed in a ring shape, in particular by stamping, the retaining plate being connected, in particular welded, to the ring-shaped area of the nonwoven element.
- a single bridge is less stable than several.
- the at least one punched through opening can deform and the nonwoven web can warp and/or curl in the area of the through opening. Stabilization of the nonwoven web can be achieved by at least two webs, so that it no or fewer unwanted effects occur. The web speed between the cycles and thus the production speed can also be increased accordingly.
- the ridges can be arranged on opposite machine direction sides of the region in the form of a disk.
- webs can also be arranged on two opposite sides of the area, transversely to the machine direction, in the form of a disk. It is also conceivable that one or more of the webs run at an angle of 20° to 60°, in particular 45°, to the machine direction.
- the holding plate can have direction indicators, which are arranged in an area of the holding plate surrounding a passage opening of the holding plate, the radial extension of which corresponds to that of the annular area of the nonwoven element.
- the ring-shaped area can be adapted to the area of the holding plate in which the direction indicators are arranged and which is therefore provided for connecting the holding plate to the nonwoven element and the plastic film.
- the holding plate and the plastic film can be arranged in such a way that, after the holding plate has been connected, the nonwoven element is located between the holding plate and the plastic film.
- the holding plate and the plastic film can be arranged in such a way that, after the holding plate has been connected, the plastic film is located between the holding plate and the nonwoven element.
- the two alternatives can be achieved by welding the plastic film to the nonwoven web either from above or from below in a plan view of the nonwoven web.
- the region of the nonwoven web in which the at least one through-opening is to be formed can be at least partially thermally compressed.
- the through-openings can be punched out more precisely.
- the corresponding areas of the nonwoven web can be compacted with ultrasound or pre-embossed with a calender.
- the plastic film can be connected to the nonwoven web and to the nonwoven element.
- the plastic film can be connected, in particular welded, to an area of the nonwoven web surrounding the area free of nonwoven material, to the annular area and to the at least one web of the nonwoven element.
- the holding plate can also be connected, in particular welded, to the at least one web of the nonwoven element.
- the connection between the holding plate and the bag wall can be made even more stable.
- the web of non-woven fabric can comprise one or more layers of filter material, in particular one or more layers of non-woven fabric.
- filter material layers are, for example, from EP 2 011 556 or the EP 0 960 645 known.
- FIG 12 shows a first step of an exemplary method for manufacturing a vacuum cleaner filter bag according to the invention.
- two through-openings 1, 2 are punched into a nonwoven web, which during the process is gradually cut in the machine direction (indicated by an arrow in figure 1 marked) is moved. How to figure 1 can be seen, between the two through-openings 1, 2 there remains a non-woven fabric element 3 extending in the machine direction.
- the two through-openings 1, 2 form a non-woven fabric-free area, which comprises the two through-openings 1, 2 as non-contiguous partial regions.
- the edge of the non-woven fabric-free area is formed by the two edges of the through openings 1, 2.
- the fleece element 3 is arranged between two opposite edge sections A, B of the edge of the non-woven fabric-free area.
- the nonwoven element 3 is spaced apart from the edge sections A, B by a partial area of the area free of nonwoven material, namely by the through-opening 1 or 2.
- the nonwoven web is moved further after the through openings 1, 2 have been punched, it is pulled in the machine direction.
- this pulling in the machine direction led to a deformation of what was then the only passage opening, which led to disadvantages in further processing. Therefore, only a slow and careful movement of the nonwoven web could be realized in the prior art.
- the area of the through openings 1, 2 is stabilized by the nonwoven element 3 when pulled in the machine direction, so that higher processing speeds are possible.
- the two through-openings 1, 2 are formed symmetrically to an axis of symmetry 4 running in the machine direction.
- the area comprising the nonwoven element 3 and the through-openings 1, 2 has a rectangular, in particular square, boundary in a plan view.
- the nonwoven element 3 here comprises a central area in the form of a disc and two webs lying opposite one another in the machine direction, which connect the area in the form of a disc with parts of the said boundary.
- the nonwoven web is only shown schematically here, in particular its borders 5, 6 running transversely to the machine direction.
- a plastic film is bonded to the nonwoven web from the underside of the nonwoven web so that the plastic film can be seen from above on the nonwoven web (as in figure 2 shown) completely overlaps with the non-woven fabric-free area and the non-woven fabric element 3 .
- Shown by dashed lines are in figure 2 the points at which the plastic film is welded to the nonwoven web.
- the plastic film can be welded to a part of the nonwoven web that completely surrounds the nonwoven area, ie with the delimitation of the area described above that includes the through openings 1 , 2 and the nonwoven element 3 .
- the plastic film can also be connected to the nonwoven element 3, for example by a weld seam 8 running in the machine direction.
- the areas of the plastic film that are not overlapped by the non-woven fabric element 3 form a first sub-area of a film area which, in the case of a transparent film, serves as a kind of viewing window to be able to visually determine the filling level of the vacuum cleaner filter bag, and in the case of an opaque film to facilitate insertion of the Contributes vacuum cleaner filter bag in a corresponding recording in the vacuum cleaner.
- FIG 3 a further method step of the exemplary method for producing a vacuum cleaner filter bag is shown, in which in particular the subsequent filling hole is formed in the bag wall.
- the nonwoven element 3 and the plastic film are punched at the same time, so that a passage opening 9 is formed.
- the simultaneous punching of the nonwoven element 3 and the plastic film is advantageous in terms of the process.
- the method according to the invention is not limited to simultaneous punching.
- the previously disc-shaped central part of the nonwoven element 3 is formed into an annular region 10 which is connected to the rest of the nonwoven web, in particular to the weld seam 7, via two webs 11, 12.
- the ring-shaped area 10 is adapted in terms of shape and radial extension to the area of the retaining plate which is provided for connection to the bag wall.
- This area of the retainer panel typically includes directors to enhance the sealing of the retainer panel to the bag wall.
- figure 4 finally illustrates the step of connecting the retaining plate 13 to the annular area 10 and the plastic film (weld area shown in broken line). Since the holding plate is connected not only to the plastic film but also to the nonwoven element 3, a secure connection between the holding plate 13 and the plastic film is possible.
- the retaining plate 13 has, in a manner known per se, a sealing lip 14 and a closure flap (closure flap in figure 4 not recognizable).
- the closing flap can prevent suction material from escaping when the filled bag is removed from the vacuum cleaner housing.
- the retaining plate 13 largely overlaps the nonwoven element 3, but only partially the first portion of the film area. Consequently, the first partial area of the foil area can be used as a viewing window to check the fill level of the vacuum cleaner filter bag when a transparent plastic foil is used. Only small parts of the webs 11, 12 are still visible, but these do not interfere with the function of the viewing window. In the end, the result is comparable to the state of the art (e.g. comparable to EP 3 066 968 ), but with a stronger connection between the holding plate 13 and the bag wall.
- FIG 5 further possible welding areas are shown, in which the plastic film can be connected to the nonwoven element 3 .
- a welding along the ring-shaped element 10 and along the webs 11, 12 also takes place here.
- the circumferential weld seam 7 is shown again.
- the retaining plate 13 can optionally also be connected to webs 11, 12 (in addition to the connection in the area of the ring-shaped element 10).
- a vacuum cleaner filter bag can be made up by cutting the web of nonwoven material to size and, for example, connecting two layers of nonwoven material to one another with a circumferential weld seam.
- One of the two layers of non-woven fabric encompasses the foil area and the holding plate.
- figure 6 shows a plan view of such a simple vacuum cleaner filter bag.
- the vacuum cleaner filter bag can also have other geometries. For example, gussets can be provided on the two longitudinal sides and/or transverse sides in order to achieve a smaller pack size with the same filter area.
- the plastic film could also be connected to the nonwoven web from above in a plan view of the nonwoven web. This ultimately leads to the plastic film being arranged between the nonwoven element and the holding plate in the vacuum cleaner filter bag that is produced.
- the inventors of the present application have recognized that a firmer connection between the retaining plate and the bag wall can also be produced with this configuration, since the nonwoven element in this case forms a softer, more flexible base for the welding than the conveyor on which the nonwoven web otherwise rests .
- the areas of the nonwoven web in which the through-openings 1, 2 are to be punched (cf figure 1 ) partially or completely thermally compacted before punching, for example by ultrasound or pre-embossing. This allows the punch holes to be formed with more defined boundaries.
- the geometry of the figure 1 shown nonwoven element 3 is only an example. More examples can be found in the Figures 7 to 9 .
- the disc-shaped area of the non-woven element 3 is connected to the rest of the non-woven web via four webs, which are arranged in pairs on opposite sides of the disc-shaped area. This geometry is achieved by punching four through openings 14, 15, 16, 17 and forming the non-woven fabric-free area.

- the disc-shaped area of the non-woven element 3 is connected to the rest of the non-woven web via three webs. Two of the webs enclose an angle of 45° with the machine direction. This geometry is achieved by punching three through openings 18, 19, 20 and forming the non-woven fabric-free area.
- the non-woven fabric member 3 is arranged between the edge portions AB, CD, and CE.
- the disc-shaped area may be connected to the rest of the nonwoven web via only one web, as in figure 9 shown.
- only one through-opening 21 is provided, which forms the nonwoven-free area.
- the nonwoven element 3 is arranged between the edge sections A and B and is spaced apart from each of these edge sections A, B by a different partial area of the nonwoven-free area. The positioning of the non-woven element 3 is also simplified by only one web and the assembly of the holding plate is thus improved.

Description
- In
- In
- In
- In
