  • the patient carriers are also set up to be transported in an ambulance.
  • the patient stretches are pushed into a support frame that is permanently installed in the ambulance, the chassis being designed to be foldable.
  • the chassis folds in and the patient carrier lies on the carrier frame and can be moved on it.
  • incubators are used for the transport and primary care of newborns and toddlers.
  • an ambulance has no permanently installed incubators. Rather, an incubator is provided as needed, for example from a hospital. The incubator must then either be carried by hand into the ambulance or transported on a chassis. Incubators are often attached to incubator racks that are used to transport the incubator by hand serve and usually have side handles and transport rollers on the underside.
  • a chassis for transporting an incubator or a patient bed ie an upper stretcher.
  • the chassis essentially consists of longitudinal spars, transverse spars, which form a linkage, and pairs of supports, as well as longitudinal rods and support rods, which serve for reinforcement.
  • the upper stretcher it is connected directly to the longitudinal rails of the chassis.
  • Fasteners (not described in more detail) for fastening to the longitudinal spars can be used for this purpose.
