Description

The present invention relates to an adapter for a patient stretcher, with which an upper stretcher and an incubator can be attached to a chassis.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

Nowadays, special patient carriers or stretchers are used for the transport of patients. The patient is placed on a stretcher and fixed. The upper stretcher is attached to a chassis by means of which the patient can be moved. In addition, such patient carriers usually have means for adjusting the height of the patient carrier, which are typically installed in the chassis. There are known patient stretches with an electric drive on the one hand of the chassis and on the other hand of the means for adjusting the height, so that the patient stretcher together with the patient can be moved or the height thereof adjusted without great effort by an auxiliary person. Typically, the patient carriers are also set up to be transported in an ambulance. For this purpose, the patient stretches are pushed into a support frame that is permanently installed in the ambulance, the chassis being designed to be foldable. As soon as the patient carrier lies against the carrier frame, the chassis folds in and the patient carrier lies on the carrier frame and can be moved on it.

Furthermore, today incubators are used for the transport and primary care of newborns and toddlers. Usually, an ambulance has no permanently installed incubators. Rather, an incubator is provided as needed, for example from a hospital. The incubator must then either be carried by hand into the ambulance or transported on a chassis. Incubators are often attached to incubator racks that are used to transport the incubator by hand serve and usually have side handles and transport rollers on the underside.

From the DE 37 19 781 C1 is known a chassis for transporting an incubator or a patient bed, ie an upper stretcher. The chassis essentially consists of longitudinal spars, transverse spars, which form a linkage, and pairs of supports, as well as longitudinal rods and support rods, which serve for reinforcement. When using the upper stretcher, it is connected directly to the longitudinal rails of the chassis. Fasteners (not described in more detail) for fastening to the longitudinal spars can be used for this purpose. In order to attach the incubator to the chassis, a stand plate is proposed. Fork latch locks are arranged on the mounting plate, into which bolts of the incubator engage and thus fasten the incubator. The platform itself is in turn connected to the longitudinal spars of the chassis. Since both the upper stretcher and the support plate are attached to the longitudinal spars, it is not possible to simply replace the upper stretcher with the incubator or vice versa. In order to exchange the incubator with the upper stretcher, the base plate must be removed and the upper stretcher fastened to the longitudinal spars with the fastening means, which represents an additional outlay.

The US 5,490,703 A describes a system for transferring patients into and out of an ambulance and for securing the patients during transport. A shell is provided which serves as an adapter for attachment to a lifting slide and can accommodate an upper stretcher. For this purpose, the shell has holding elements on its upper side which engage in the linkage of the upper stretcher and a lock case for locking the upper stretcher. Furthermore, the adapter has a locking pin on the side, which can serve as a fastening element for an incubator.

Offenbarung der ErfindungDisclosure of the invention

The invention relates to an adapter for patient carriers, which is set up to accommodate an upper stretcher for patient transport and an incubator attachment or an incubator frame. The Patient stretcher has a chassis, which can be folded in particular for transport in an ambulance. In addition, means for adjusting the height of the patient carrier can be provided. An electric drive is preferably provided to drive the means for adjusting the height. Optionally, a further electric drive can be provided, which is set up to move the patient carrier.

The adapter has a trough-shaped base body. The base body has a substantially rectangular bottom surface, at the edges of which Edge is formed upwards, which is preferably formed in one piece with the base plate and is formed for example by bending. The base body preferably consists of metal, preferably in the form of a sheet. The trough-shaped body offers the advantage over a simple plate that the adapter is significantly more torsion-resistant. In addition, comparatively more forces can be absorbed, which is why the base body deforms significantly less in the event of a collision. In addition, additional brackets can be attached to the z. B. basket sanding straps can be attached, which are used for example in disasters or in a mountain rescue.

The base body is advantageously connected to the chassis of the patient carrier via the floor surface. Alternatively, the base body can also be connected to the chassis via the edge. In both cases, the base body can be firmly connected to the chassis on the one hand, for example by welding or riveting, or releasably by means of fasteners, such as. B. screws, connected to the chassis. In principle, the base body can be connected to any part of the chassis, but the base body is preferably connected to the linkage of the chassis provided for receiving the goods to be transported. This connection between the base body of the adapter and the chassis does not have to be released when replacing the upper stretcher with the incubator attachment or the incubator frame or vice versa.

Starting from the basic body, directions, axes and sides can be defined. The side of the base body is considered as the head side, in which the patient's head normally lies when the upper stretcher is picked up. Analogously, the side of the base body is considered as the foot side, in which the patient's feet normally lie when the upper stretcher is taken up. The side facing the chassis is referred to as the underside, the opposite side facing away from the chassis is referred to as the top.

At least one fastening element, at least one holding element and a lock case are fastened on the top of the base body, more precisely on the base surface of the base body. In principle, the fastening can be fixed, for example by welding or riveting, but preferably it can be detached and by means of fastening means, such as, for. B. screws can be realized. It is it is provided that the fastening of the at least one fastening element to the base body does not have to be released when the upper stretcher is exchanged with the incubator attachment or the incubator frame or vice versa. In practice, the elements mentioned are all attached to the base body at the same time after assembly and in particular when the stretcher is used, and in particular are only loosened for maintenance and possibly for cleaning.

The at least one fastening element is designed to receive and secure a connecting element, for example a bolt, an incubator attachment or an incubator frame. The incubator to be transported can therefore be attached as an incubator attachment, which has the connecting element, directly to the trough-shaped base body or first attached to an incubator frame, which has the connecting element and is attached to the trough-shaped base body. As described in detail later, the connection between the at least one fastening element and the incubator attachment or the incubator frame is secure and, moreover, detachable in a simple manner, preferably detachable by hand.

The at least one holding element and the lock case are set up to accommodate the upper stretcher. The at least one holding element is designed to hold a frame rod of the upper stretcher. The frame rod can be a rod that belongs to the basic structure of the upper stretcher or is specially designed, in particular a rod specially designed for holding, or part of an axis of the upper stretcher. The lock case is designed in a manner known per se to accommodate and secure a locking element of the upper stretcher. For this purpose, the lock case has a locking system which is adapted for securing the locking element of the upper stretcher. The upper stretcher can be pushed into the adapter on the base body, more precisely on the bottom surface, so that the frame rod is held by the holding element. Then the locking element enters the lock case and is secured by the locking system. The lock case preferably has a lever with which the locking system can be released again by hand and the upper stretcher can be released. This ensures a secure attachment of the upper stretcher, which can be easily removed again.

The adapter described above therefore has elements at the same time with which the upper stretcher can be attached to the chassis and the incubator attachment or the incubator frame can be attached to the chassis. The exchange of the upper stretcher with the incubator attachment or the incubator frame and / or vice versa can be carried out in a simple and quick manner, in particular by hand, since the at least one fastening element and the lock case, as described, can preferably be actuated by hand. In order to replace the upper stretcher with the incubator attachment or the incubator frame or vice versa, neither the at least one fastening element nor the at least one holding element or the lock case has to be detached from the base body. Neither does the adapter itself have to be detached from the chassis for this.

According to one aspect, the trough-shaped base body is reinforced with reinforcing elements at the connection points at which the at least one fastening element, the at least one holding element and / or the lock case are fastened to the base body. The reinforcement elements are, for example, plates which are fastened to the connection points on the underside of the base surface. The reinforcing elements are preferably in the same way and particularly preferably by means of the same fastening means as the at least one fastening element which fastens at least one holding element and / or the lock case to the bottom surface. The reinforcing elements advantageously cover the same area as the at least one fastening element, the at least one holding element and / or the lock case.

The at least one fastening element is designed as a fastening shoe which has an opening into which a bolt-shaped connecting element of the incubator attachment or of the incubator frame can be inserted, so that the fastening shoe can receive the bolt-shaped connecting element. Typical bolt-shaped connecting elements of an incubator attachment or an incubator frame have an indentation along the circumference. Preferably, the fastening shoe can have an internal groove which, when the bolt-shaped connecting element is inserted during the fastening of the incubator attachment or the incubator frame, into the indentation of the engages bolt-shaped connecting element. This prevents the bolt-shaped connecting element from slipping out toward the top. In addition, a securing element is provided, which is designed to secure the bolt-shaped connecting element in the received state.

According to one aspect, the at least one holding element is U-shaped, an opening being formed by the U-shape. The frame rod of the upper stretcher can be inserted into this opening. If the frame rod is pushed into the opening, the at least one U-shaped holding element partially surrounds the frame rod with the other sides.

The opening of the at least one fastening shoe, the opening of the at least one U-shaped holding element and the opening of the lock case advantageously point in a common direction, preferably towards the foot-side end of the base body. In this way, both the upper stretcher and the incubator attachment or the incubator frame can be inserted into the adapter from the same direction.

The preferred form of the securing element for the fastening shoe is a locking rod. In this case, the fastening shoe has a bore on its side into which the locking rod can be inserted. The bore is preferably arranged so that the locking rod delimits the bolt-shaped connecting element in the direction of the opening. In addition, a second hole can be arranged on the opposite side, through which the locking rod is guided out of the fastening shoe. In this case, the locking rod can also be inserted from both sides. In the inserted state, the locking rod secures the bolt-shaped connecting element, so that the bolt-shaped connecting element can no longer move in the fastening shoe and in particular cannot slide out of it. If the bolt-shaped connecting element is received in the fastening shoe, the locking rod can be inserted perpendicular to the opening, can be guided past the bolt-shaped connecting element on the side of the opening and can engage in the indentation of the bolt-shaped connecting element described above. This prevents the bolt-shaped connecting element from slipping out in the direction of the opening and upwards.

An advantageous arrangement of the fastening elements on the base body provides that at least two fastening elements are arranged along an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The bores on the at least two fastening elements are designed such that the locking rod can be inserted into at least two fastening elements. Accordingly, all fasteners have two holes. The fastening element, which is arranged closest to the edge of the base body, can in principle also have only one hole on the side pointing towards the edge, but this fastening element preferably also has two holes, so that the locking rod can be inserted from both sides. All holes are arranged along a common axis and at the same height.

Optionally, the bore of the at least one fastening element can be designed and in particular arranged at such a height that the locking rod lies over the edge of the trough-shaped base body. In other words, the bore of the at least one fastening element is arranged above a plane which is formed by the upper edges of the edges. This offers the advantage that an operator can move the locking rod without reaching under the incubator attachment or the incubator frame. A knob is preferably provided on one end of the locking rod, which is not inserted into the fastening elements and on which the operator moves the locking rod. The knob is preferably designed such that its dimensions in the radial plane of the locking rod are greater than the distance between the edge of the trough-shaped base body and the side of the locking rod facing the edge. This prevents the rod from being pushed too far inwards and the operator has to go under the incubator attachment or the incubator frame.

A preferred arrangement of the elements is as follows: four fastening elements are distributed on the base body. The four fastening elements are each divided into two fastening elements, each of which lies on an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. Two of the fastening elements lie on an axis, which, viewed from the center of the base body, are arranged in the direction of the head-side end, two more Fastening elements lie on an axis which, viewed from the center of the base body, are arranged in the direction of the foot-side end. The exact position of the fastening elements and the distance between them are selected depending on the incubator attachment or the incubator frame and the exact position of the connecting elements of the incubator attachment or the incubator frame. In addition, two of the holding elements are arranged on a central axis perpendicularly and centrally to the longitudinal axis of the trough-shaped base body. Optionally, at least one further holding element is arranged on an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis between the central axis and the head end. Finally, the lock case is arranged between the central axis and the foot end. The position of the holding elements is selected depending on the top stretcher and on the position and distance of the frame rods. The position of the lock case is selected depending on the top stretcher and on the position of the locking element, in particular in relation to the frame rods.

Ausführungsbeispiele der ErfindungEmbodiments of the invention

Figure 1 shows in an isometric view the adapter according to the invention for a patient carrier, not shown, according to one embodiment. The Adapter has a trough-shaped base body 10, which comprises a rectangular base surface 11, from which an edge 12 is bent upwards and protrudes upwards from the base surface 11. The base body 10 is connected via its base surface 11 to a chassis of the patient carrier, not shown here. It is a longitudinal axis A L of the base body 10, which runs parallel to the longer edge through the center of the base body 10 on the bottom surface 11, and a central axis A M of the base body 10, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis A L through the center of the base body 10 on the Bottom surface 11 runs, shown. In addition, a head-side end K and a foot-side end F of the base body 10 are defined.

The adapter has a total of four fastening shoes 20, 20 ', which are arranged along two axes A 1 , A 2 , which are each perpendicular to the longitudinal axis A L of the base body 10. Two of the fastening shoes 20 are arranged on a first axis A 1 between the central axis A M of the base body 10 and the head-side end K and two further fastening shoes 20 'are on a second axis A 2 between the central axis A M of the base body 10 and the foot-side end f arranged. The fastening shoes 20, 20 'serve to receive and secure bolts of an incubator attachment or an incubator frame (not shown here). A locking rod 21 is shown as an example, which is inserted into two of the fastening shoes 20. The locking rod 21 serves as a securing element for the fastening shoes and prevents the bolt of the incubator attachment or the incubator frame from slipping out. Unlike shown here, the locking rod 22 is only inserted into the fastening shoes 20 when the bolts of the incubator attachment or of the incubator frame have already been received in the fastening shoes 20. The exact position of the four fastening shoes 20, 20 'and the distance between them is dependent on the incubator attachment or on the incubator frame which is to be received and the position of the bolts of this incubator attachment or this incubator frame. A more detailed description of the mounting shoes 20, 20 'is provided in connection with Figure 3 given.

At the same time, the adapter has a total of 3 holding elements 30, 30 '. Two of the holding elements 30 are arranged on the central axis A M. Another holding element 30 'is arranged on a third axis A 3 near the head-side end K, ie between the first axis A 1 and the head-side end K. In further embodiments, this further holding element 30 'on the third axis A 3 can be dispensed with. The holding elements 30 are set up to hold a frame rod of an upper stretcher (not shown here). If the upper stretcher is pushed into the adapter on the bottom surface 11, the holding elements 30 arranged on the central axis A M hold, for example, a frame rod which is already designed for holding on the upper stretcher and the holding element 30 'arranged on the head-side end K holds an axis rod of the upper stretcher. The position of the holding elements 30, 30 'is selected depending on the upper stretcher to be picked up and the position and the distance of the frame rods.

Furthermore, a lock case 40 is arranged at the foot end of the base body. The lock case 30 is used in a manner known per se for receiving and securing a locking element of the upper stretcher (not shown). If the upper stretcher is pushed into the adapter on the bottom surface 11, the locking element enters the lock case 40 via an opening 43 and is secured by its integrated locking system. The lock case 40 also has a lever 41 with which the locking system can be released again by hand and the upper stretcher can be released. The position of the lock case 40 is selected depending on the top stretcher and the position of the locking element and in relation to the frame rods.

As in Figure 1 shown, all openings 23, 33, 43 - which will be described in detail below - of the elements 20, 20 ', 30, 30', 40 described point in the same direction towards the foot-side end F.

Figure 2 shows an exploded view of the adapter according to the invention Figure 1 , The same components are provided with the same reference symbols, so that they will not be described again. In this Figure 2 are reinforcing elements 27, 27 ', 37, 37', 47 and fastening means 28, 28 ', 38, 38', 39, 39 ', 48 for the in connection with Figure 1 described elements shown. The reinforcement elements 27, 27 'are assigned to the fastening shoes 20, 20', the reinforcement elements 37, 37 'are assigned to the holding elements 30, 30' and the reinforcement element 47 is assigned to the lock case 40. In this embodiment, all reinforcing elements 27, 27 ', 37, 37', 47 are plate-shaped and have essentially the same base area like the elements assigned to them. The reinforcing elements 27, 27 ', 37, 37', 47 serve to reinforce the bottom surface 11 of the base body 10 at the points at which the fastening shoes 20, 20 ', the holding elements 30, 30' and the lock case 40 are arranged and are attached to the bottom surface 10 from below. The fastening means 28, 28 ', 38, 38', 48 shown here are screws and the fastening means 39, 39 'are rivet nuts which are riveted into the base surface 11. By means of the screws 28, 28 ', the reinforcing elements 27, 27' are fastened to the bottom surface 11 from below through holes provided therefor, and the fastening shoes 20, 20 'are fastened to the bottom surface 11. The rivet nuts 39, 39 'are riveted into holes provided therefor. The screws 38, 38 'are screwed into the rivet nuts 39, 39' from above through holes provided for this purpose in the holding elements 30, 30 'and thereby fasten the holding elements 30, 30' to the bottom surface 11 and the reinforcing elements 27, 27 ' of the bottom surface 11. By means of the screws 48, the reinforcing element 47 is fastened to the bottom surface 11 from below through holes provided therefor, and the lock case 40 is fastened to the bottom surface 11. The fastening means 28, 28 ', 38, 38', 39, 39 ', 48 produce a detachable fastening, but in practice it is not necessary to loosen them after assembly - apart from maintenance and cleaning if necessary. Both the upper stretcher and the incubator attachment or the incubator frame can be attached to the adapter without changing or manipulating the attachment means 28, 28 ', 38, 38', 39, 39 ', 48.

Figure 3 shows an isometric view of the fastening shoe 20, the fastening shoe 20 'being of identical design. The fastening shoe 20 is essentially cube-shaped in this exemplary embodiment, but can also have the shape of a cuboid or another shape in other embodiments. An opening 23 extends into the inside of the fastening shoe 20 on the top and on the side which is referred to as the front from now on. The opening 23 has a U-shape when viewed from above and a box shape when viewed from the side. A bolt of the incubator attachment or of the incubator frame is inserted into this opening 23 (not shown here). A groove 24 is formed along the U-shaped inside, which engages in an indentation of the bolt in the inserted state of the bolt and thus prevents it from slipping out upwards. The groove 24 has angled edges on the front, which facilitates the insertion of the bolt. Furthermore, the Mounting shoe 20 two holes 25 perpendicular to the opening 23 through the sides adjacent to the front. The bores 25 are through bores and lie on a common axis leading through both central axes of the bores 25. In other words, the bores 25 are arranged at a common height and at a common depth (distance from the front). In this exemplary embodiment, the bores 25 are arranged in the center of the groove 24. Through the bores 25, after the bolt of the incubator attachment or of the incubator frame has been received, the in Figure 1 described locking rod 21 inserted, which then runs along the bolt between the bolt and the opening 23 on the front and engages in the indentation of the bolt. This prevents the bolt from slipping out of the front and upwards. Threads for receiving the screws 28 (or 28 ') are provided on the underside, which is not visible here. The bores 25 are arranged at such a height that the locking rod 21, as in FIG Figure 1 shown, protrudes beyond the edge 12 of the trough-shaped base body 10.

Figure 4 shows an isometric view of the holding element 30, the holding element 30 'being of identical design. The holding element 30 has a base section 31, which rests on the base surface 11 of the base body and represents one leg of a U-shaped profile, and a holding section 32, which represents the other leg and the base of the U-shaped profile, so that the holding section 32 and the base portion 31 together form the U-shaped profile. Through the U-shaped profile, an opening 33 is formed in the longitudinal direction of the holding element 30, which extends in the transverse direction through the entire profile. A rack bar of the upper stretcher is inserted into this opening 33 and held up and down by the holding portion 32 and the base portion 31 and in the direction opposite to the opening. The holding section 31 has a flattened edge 34 at the end of the leg, through which the insertion of the rack rod is facilitated. In addition, two bores 35 are provided in the base section 31, which extend as through bores from top to bottom through the base section. The screws 38 (or 38 ') are guided through these bores 35 and screwed into the rivet nuts 39 (or 39') which have been riveted to the bottom surface 11, as a result of which the holding element 20 is fastened to the bottom surface 11.
