Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for fastening frames according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the invention further relates to the use of such a device.
  • the invention relates to a method for attaching a frame to a wall by means of a device of the type mentioned, wherein a first clamping bracket is connected to a holding plate and the holding plate is attached to an inside of the frame.
  • the attachment of frames to a wall or the installation of frames in a wall opening is usually carried out using PU foam, with the frame in the wall opening first being temporarily fastened, for example using one or more spreaders and/or wedges.
  • the PU foam can then be inserted between the frame and the wall. This inserted PU foam then has to harden for about one to two hours before any foam excess can be removed and the installation of the frame can be continued, especially with the attachment of a decorative strip or panel.
  • the disadvantage here is, on the one hand, that the installation of frames usually takes a long time due to a waiting time, mostly due to the PU foam.
  • the quality of the fastening depends on temperature and humidity. For example, installing a frame is not possible or only possible to a limited extent at low temperatures, for example below 4 °C, and/or at high relative humidity.
  • PU foam in particular a two-component foam, contains substances that are hazardous to health or environmentally harmful, which is why disposal of emptied PU foam cans is complex because they have to be disposed of as hazardous waste.
  • PU foam in particular the two-component foam
  • the PU foam can expand further following assembly, which means that installed frames can shift or warp and possibly a Built-in door can no longer be closed or opened. An affected frame must therefore be removed and replaced, which leads to considerable additional costs and requires an enormous amount of time.
  • a fastening device for frames which essentially consists of two clamping angles, which can be fixed relative to one another in a desired position by operating a screw, with a frame being pressed against the wall by the clamping angles acting on a wall.
  • the frame is designed with an opening through which the screw can be actuated.
  • EP 2 287 431 A1 discloses a door frame constructed in several parts, which has a top frame and a lower frame attached underneath.
  • the lower frame is mounted with part of the top frame on a reveal opening, after which side frames can be attached.
  • the lower frame can be formed from two clamping legs that can be moved relative to one another.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a device of the type mentioned at the outset, with which a simple and ecologically sustainable fastening of a frame in a wall opening can be achieved.
  • a further object of the invention is to provide a use for such a device.
  • the first object of the invention is achieved with a device according to claim 1.
  • An advantage achieved with the invention can be seen in particular in the fact that simple handling of the device is achieved by a rotationally fixed arrangement of the clamping angles on the holding plate. If a first clamping angle and a second clamping angle are arranged on the holding plate in a rotationally fixed manner, the holding plate can, for example, be connected to the frame, preferably screwed, with the clamping angles, especially the first clamping angle, being in a correct position and/or orientation for fastening the frame.
  • a device according to the invention can thus be fastened quickly and without problems by one person alone, since attention no longer has to be paid to the orientation of the first clamping angle while attaching the second clamping angle.
  • connecting elements which serve to connect the wall anchors are round or tubular, and these are pushed into a corresponding tube on the holding plate.
  • the frame can be loaded immediately after installation, so for example a door can be hung directly after installation, especially without waiting time.
  • flat clamping elements provide the largest possible area for support on the wall or on a wall.
  • the clamping element and the at least one connecting piece enclose an angle of approximately 90°. This ensures that the clamping elements engage and/or rest on both sides of the wall, in particular on two walls, in order to hold the frame in a desired position. It is usually provided here that the clamping element and the at least one connecting piece are connected by a section which preferably runs obliquely. This section can enclose an angle between 10° and 80°, in particular an angle of 45°, with the at least one connecting piece, one of the connecting pieces and/or with the clamping element. Alternatively, this section can be curved or curved.
  • the at least one connecting piece has a substantially polygonal, preferably rectangular, cross section. This makes it possible to provide a single connecting piece and still achieve a rotation-proof mounting of the clamping bracket on the holding plate. Likewise, a non-rotatable mounting can be achieved with a connecting piece with an oval cross section. Alternatively, two connecting pieces can be provided, which can be of any design, in particular round.
  • a first clamping angle preferably at a first end, has at least one internal thread for receiving one adjusting means, for example a screw, and a second Clamping angle, preferably on the clamping element, each has a connecting hole corresponding to the internal thread.
  • An adjusting means such as a screw can thus be guided through the connecting hole corresponding to the internal thread and screwed into the internal thread, whereby the two clamping angles are connected and a maximum span is set.
  • the hole has a smaller diameter than a screw head of a screw screwed into the internal thread. The screw head preferably rests on the clamping element, so that by further screwing in the screw or actuating the adjusting means, a distance between the two clamping elements or the span is reduced.
  • At least one of the clamping elements has several holes for receiving one fastener each.
  • a U-shaped profile such as a rubber cap, can be placed on the clamping element in order to prevent the device from slipping, for example on smooth surfaces such as a tiled wall. It has proven useful if the clamping element has at least two, particularly preferably three, holes in order to connect the clamping element to the wall in a stationary and in particular rotationally fixed manner.
  • the holding plate has a central surface which is flanked by two support surfaces, with the holding plate between the central one Surface and a support surface is beveled. This creates a space between the holding plate and the frame into which the clamping brackets, in particular with their connecting pieces, can be inserted.
  • a receptacle for the connecting pieces can be provided on the holding plate.
  • the receptacle can, for example, comprise at least one tube or at least one guide channel, into which a connecting piece can be inserted.
  • the clamping angles each have at least two rod-shaped, for example round, connecting pieces and corresponding guide channels or tubes are provided on the holding plate, into which the connecting pieces can be inserted.
  • the holding plate has at least one guide element for the clamping angles.
  • the guide elements or the guide element ensure that the clamping angles can be inserted into the holding plate or between the holding plate and the frame in a correct positioning.
  • the connecting piece of the first clamping bracket can be clamped between the guide elements, so that the holding plate is connected to the clamping bracket in a rotationally fixed manner.
  • the clamping angles have teeth at a second end, in particular on the clamping element.
  • This toothing is preferably positioned on an upper side of the clamping element and can, for example, claw into a wall, whereby the device is fixed.
  • an upper part of the clamping element is inclined in the direction of the guide elements.
  • the U-shaped profile in particular the rubber cap, can be placed over the toothing or placed on it.
  • the first clamping angle is formed in one piece with the holding plate or is firmly connected to it. This eliminates the need to assemble the first clamping bracket with the holding plate when attaching the device to the frame.
  • the further goal is achieved with the use of such a device for attaching a frame to a wall.
  • a device for attaching a frame to a wall One advantage arises in particular from the fact that attachment can take place independently of temperature and humidity and the device used for this purpose has increased health and environmental compatibility.
  • the installed frame can be removed and replaced, for example, without leaving any residue or damage.
  • the devices that have already been used can then be used again for a replacement frame.
  • the first procedural task is solved with a method of the type mentioned at the outset, whereby the frame is set into a wall opening, after which a second clamping angle opposite the first clamping angle is connected to the holding plate in a rotationally fixed manner, after which the first clamping angle and the second clamping angle are connected to at least one adjusting means be connected and a span is reduced until sufficient clamping force is achieved on the wall to fix the frame to the wall.
  • a connecting piece of the second clamping bracket is inserted between the holding plate and the frame.
  • the connecting piece is fixed by the holding plate itself, which reduces the weight of the entire device.
  • one or more guide channels for the first and/or second clamping angle can be provided on the holding plate, into which the clamping angle or angles are inserted.
  • the frame is aligned before the span is reduced, especially to a minimum.
  • the span can first be reduced a little so that the frame holds in the wall opening and is preferably fixed perpendicular to the edge of the wall opening.
  • the frame can then normally be moved back and forth or parallel to the Wall opening border, can be adjusted, after which the span is further reduced so that the frame essentially holds its position in the wall opening.
  • further fine adjustment of the frame can be carried out if the holding plate and the clamping brackets are not yet firmly connected to one another.
  • the frame and the holding plate can be moved back and forth in the wall opening, in particular relative to the clamping angles and along the connecting pieces.
  • the holding plate is connected in a fixed position to the first clamping angle and/or the second clamping angle using a fixing means.
  • a fixing means By fixing the holding plate on the two clamping angles or on one of the two clamping angles, it is ensured that the frame remains in a finely adjusted position.
  • one or more, in particular self-tapping, screws can be screwed in between the holding plate and the first and/or second clamping bracket.
  • Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a device 1 for fastening a frame 2 to a wall 3 or in a wall opening, the device 1 being connected to a frame 2, placed on one side of a decorative panel 4 of the wall 3 and clamped to the wall 3 on both sides.
  • the device 1 comprises a holding plate 5 and two clamping brackets 6a, 6b, which each rest on the walls of the wall 3.
  • Fig. 2 shows the device 1 in a three-part embodiment, comprising the holding plate 5 and two clamping brackets 6a, 6b.
  • the device 1 can be designed in two parts, with the holding plate 5 having an integral clamping angle 6a is trained.
  • the holding plate 5 is essentially raised in the middle, with a first clamping angle 6a from one side and a second clamping angle 6b from a side opposite the first clamping angle 6a being inserted into or under the holding plate 5.
  • the clamping angles 6a, 6b have a large span 7.
  • the holding plate 5 comprises a plurality of guide elements 8.
  • the guide elements 8 are flat.
  • Fig. 3 shows a top view of the device 1, the clamping angles 6a, 6b being completely inserted into the holding plate 5, the span 7 being reduced to a minimum caused by the holding plate 5.
  • this minimum or the minimum span 7 is usually defined by a wall thickness.
  • FIG. 4 Two clamping angles 6a, 6b are shown, each of which has a clamping element 9 and at least one connecting piece 10.
  • the first clamping angle 6a essentially has two flat connecting pieces 10, each with a recess, which are connected by the clamping element 9.
  • the connecting piece 10 of the second clamping angle 6b also has a recess which is open on one side, so that this connecting piece 10 is essentially U-shaped, with lateral, in particular rod-shaped, parts each having a rectangular cross section.
  • two or more rod-shaped connecting pieces 10 can also be provided, which are connected to one another, preferably by the clamping element 9.
  • the connecting pieces 10 can be designed in any shape, in particular with a rectangular, square, triangular, polygonal, oval or round cross section. If several connecting pieces 10 are provided, different shapes can be combined with one another as desired. However, if only a single rod-shaped connecting piece 10 is provided, this preferably has at least one edge or is oval in order to ensure a rotation-proof attachment.
  • the recesses in the connecting pieces 10 primarily serve to reduce weight.
  • a toothing 12 is provided on both the first and second clamping angle 6b, preferably on an upper side of the clamping element 9.
  • a U-shaped profile 13 such as a rubber cap, is shown, which is advantageously made of an elastic material, in particular rubber or silicone. This U-shaped profile 13 or the rubber cap can be placed over the teeth 12 in order to prevent the device 1 from slipping on a smooth surface, such as a tiled wall.
  • Fig. 5 shows a further representation of the clamping angles 6a, 6b, whereby it can be seen that the clamping element 9 and the at least one connecting piece 10 enclose an angle of approximately 90 °.
  • the clamping element 9 of the first clamping angle 6a is connected to the connecting piece 10 via an obliquely arranged section. This section preferably forms an angle between 10° and 80°, usually an angle of 45°, with the clamping element 9 and/or the connecting piece 10.
  • the clamping element 9 of the second clamping angle 6b is connected directly to the connecting piece 10, with one connection point being curved.
  • Fig. 6 shows a front view of the clamping angles 6a, 6b with the clamping elements 9 in the foreground, the clamping elements 9 having a plurality of holes 14 for fastening or receiving a fixing means.
  • these holes 14 serve to reduce weight and, on the other hand, a fastening screw, for example, can be screwed into the wall 3 through these holes 14 in order to fix the device 1 to it.
  • the clamping elements 9 each have recesses which serve to reduce weight and, if necessary, simplify handling.
  • two connecting holes 15 corresponding to the internal thread 11 are provided on the clamping element 9 of the second clamping angle 6b, through which an adjusting means, such as a screw, can be screwed into the internal thread 11 in order to connect the clamping angles 6a, 6b to one another and to adjust the span 7 .
  • a maximum span 7 can be adjusted with the adjusting means, since a distance between the clamping elements 9 can only be increased until the second clamping element 9 abuts, for example, on a head of the adjusting means, for example on a screw head.
