Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a laundry care device with a control.
  • washing liquid column After pumping out washing liquid from the tub of a laundry care device by means of a pump, a remainder of the pumped out washing liquid remains in the drain line, the rest of the pumped out washing liquid forming a column of washing liquid in the discharge line on the pressure side of the pump, provided the pump is still driven. Above a certain pressure at the pump nozzle, the washing liquid column lifts out of the pump pressure chamber, so that the washing liquid column can flow back through the gravity acting on it in the drain line and penetrate into the suction chamber of the pump.
  • the pump operated with a low pump capacity when the wash liquid column is lifted off again accelerates the backwashed wash liquid a wash liquid column builds up in the discharge line on the pressure side of the pump, which subsequently flows back into the discharge line due to gravity.
  • a vibrating washing liquid column is obtained in the drain line.
  • the vibrating washing liquid column vibrates in the drain line at your design-related natural frequency.
  • the oscillation of the washing liquid column in the drain line can result in an unpleasant, oscillating noise state and, in addition, a strong motor load can occur for the pump due to the oscillating flow of the washing liquid.
  • the effect of the washing liquid column swinging up occurs with certain constellations of pump shape, flow behavior and installation conditions or delivery head of the laundry care device.

  • the object according to the invention is achieved by a laundry care device with a tub for receiving washing liquid, an outlet opening arranged on the tub for discharging washing liquid, the outlet opening being fluidly connected to an outlet line, the outlet line being connected to a pump, the Pump is configured to pump washing liquid through the drain opening and through the drain line out of the laundry care device, a power detection element for detecting an electrical power value of the pump, and with a controller for controlling the pump, the controller being designed during a first period of time of the drain pipe vibrating washing liquid column to determine when the electric power value detected by the power detection element exceeds an electric vibration reference power value, wherein the controller is configured during a after the first time period, the second time period to reduce a pump power of the pump to a reduced pump power, wherein when the pump is operated with the reduced pump power, the electrical power value detected by the power detection element falls below the electrical vibration reference power value in order to reduce the vibration of the washing liquid column in the drain line, and the control is designed during a third time period following the second time period
  • control enables an effective reduction or elimination of the vibrating washing liquid column in the drain line. This reduces noise when pumping out.
  • the controller determines the presence of a vibrating wash liquid column in the drain line when the electrical power value detected by the power detection element exceeds an electrical vibration reference power value.
  • the washing liquid column vibrating in the drain line with a certain frequency results in an electrical power value of the pump oscillating in a corresponding frequency, e.g. the amplitude of an electrical current applied to the pump. If the detected electrical power value exceeds the electrical vibration reference power value, the controller can determine that there is a vibrating washing liquid column in the drain line.
  • the control reduces the pump power of the pump to the reduced pump power, the electrical power value detected by the power detection element when the pump is operated with the reduced pump power falling below the electrical vibration reference power value, so that elimination or at least a significant reduction in the washing liquid column vibrating in the drain line can be ensured during the second period.
  • the controller determines an inflow of washing liquid into the drain line if the electrical power value detected by the power detection element exceeds the electrical inflow reference power value. After the second period, the vibrating wash liquid column in the drain line was reduced sufficiently. If washing liquid subsequently enters the drain line from the tub during the third time period, the electrical power value of the pump detected by the power detection element can exceed the inflow reference power value. As a result, the control can recognize that sufficient washing liquid is again present in the drain line in order to ensure that the washing liquid is effectively pumped out of the laundry care device without an oscillating washing liquid column occurring in the drain line. For this purpose, the control system can again increase the pumping capacity of the pump sufficiently. In the event that an oscillating wash liquid column occurs again in the drain line during the further pumping process, the controller can repeat the first, second and third time period.
  • the laundry care device ensures early detection of a lack of washing liquid inflow to the pump, and an oscillating condition of the washing liquid column in the drain line and the associated noise emission and a high energy requirement can be avoided without having to carry out constructive, design changes in the laundry care device.
  • the lifespan of the components can also be extended.
  • the pump is operated by a pump motor, which in particular comprises a permanently excited pump motor or an electronically commutated pump motor.
  • a reduction in the pump output of the pump is achieved in particular by reducing the pump speed of the pump.
  • the occurrence of an oscillating column of washing liquid in the drain line does not occur in every laundry care device, but rather occurs when the pump speed of the pump exceeds a predetermined oscillation speed.
  • the oscillation speed is in turn dependent on the height of the wash liquid column in the drain line, the height of the wash liquid column in the drain line again depending on the height of a drain hose, which is on the outside of the laundry care device is appropriate. If the pump speed of the pump falls below a predetermined vibration speed, no vibrating wash liquid column occurs in the drain line. When the pump speed of the pump exceeds a predetermined vibration speed, an oscillating column of washing liquid occurs in the drain line, and the vibration of the column of washing liquid is reduced according to the embodiment of the present invention.
