Definitions

  • the invention relates to a door leaf for a front door, which comprises an outer jacket which covers at least the door leaf broad sides of the door leaf.
  • the outer jacket is made of a sheet metal.
  • the door leaf has an insert element which is at least partially surrounded by the outer jacket and is arranged on an end region of the door leaf.
  • the invention also includes a method for producing the door leaf according to the invention.
  • door leaves are constructed or designed differently.
  • the object of the invention is to improve a door leaf and a method in such a way that the door leaf is provided in a particularly simple and cost-effective manner and at the same time with a particularly high level of thermal insulation and resistance, in particular with regard to security against burglary.
  • the invention creates a door leaf and a method with the features of the independent claims.
  • Advantageous refinements are the subject of the dependent claims.
  • the invention creates a door leaf for a front door.
  • the door leaf comprises an outer jacket which covers at least the broad sides of the door leaf.
  • the outer jacket of the door leaf lies on or on the visible side of the door leaf.
  • An outer shell means in particular an outer shell.
  • the outer jacket is made of a sheet metal.
  • the metal sheet has a material thickness or sheet thickness of 1 mm to 3 mm, particularly preferably of 1 mm to 2 mm. Due to the structure of the door leaf with a metal sheet as the outer jacket, the door leaf is particularly dimensionally stable, in particular with particularly little warpage and is particularly insensitive to mechanical loads. In addition, the metal outer jacket means that the door leaf requires very little maintenance and care.
  • wooden doors In comparison to wooden doors in particular, the lifespan of the wooden door is dependent on a surface treatment, since, for example, painting is necessary. Accordingly, wooden doors require a particularly high level of maintenance. Furthermore, wooden doors may warp due to strong temperature fluctuations, for example when the outside temperature is particularly low.
  • the door leaf has an insert element which is at least partially surrounded by the outer jacket.
  • the outer jacket completely or partially covers the insert element.
  • the insert element is received in the outer jacket.

  • the insert element is on an edge region of the door leaf arranged.
  • the insert element preferably forms the frame spars of a door leaf frame of the door leaf.
  • the insert element is formed from a plywood as a wood material.
  • Laminated wood means in particular that the insert element is formed from several layers of wood or from adjacent or arranged layers of wood.
  • the invention is characterized in that a film element is applied to an outer surface of the insert element facing the end face region of the door leaf.
  • “External surface” means in particular a predetermined surface area of a surface of the insert element to which the film element is attached.
  • the outer surface preferably forms a surface that extends between the door leaf broad sides, in particular from a door leaf broad side to a door leaf broad side opposite the door leaf broad side.

  • veneer strip wood is understood to mean, in particular, from at least three plies and wood glued in the same direction.
  • Laminated veneer lumber is also made from parallel veneer layers, which are glued together in width to form a material board. In particular, solid wood is used in the production of glulam.
  • glulam Since glulam is made of wood and has a multi-layer structure, cracking takes place to a much lesser extent. In addition, glulam has a particularly high load-bearing capacity. Since glulam is made in particular from pre-sorted and cleared wood, load capacities can be achieved that cannot be achieved with solid wood of the same cross-section. Glued laminated timber also has advantages in terms of weight and chemical resistance.

  • the film element is designed as a plastic sheet.
  • the plastic can have polyvinyl chloride, or PVC for short, or a mixture, in particular a plastic mixture, of PVC and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer, or ABS for short.
