Definitions

  • the invention relates to a projectile or an ammunition, also with a training bullet or a training ammunition, on the one hand compared to the introduced combat or mecanicsmunitäon up to a predefined combat distance ballistic equality, on the other hand degrades faster when exceeding this distance the speed and thus compared to the imported ammunition has a significantly limited overall range.

  • a self-separation mechanism remains active until a check of the function of a detonator is completed. If the result is negative, a self-decomposition takes place, which is thus placed at the beginning of the mission. Further self-separation devices can be taken from DE 100 20 637 C1 or DE 43 35 938 C2.
  • the invention takes on the task to show an ammunition that meets the safety requirements of the users.
  • the object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
  • Advantageous embodiments are the dependent claims.
  • the invention is based on the idea of specifying an ammunition which in a so-called main combat distance does not undergo any external ballistic disturbances which, however, if the target has not been hit, can reduce the velocity much faster. Especially during practice ammunition they have to show as much as possible the same characteristics as the corresponding combat ammunition within the training main combat detachment, but then they can reduce the speed much faster. These requirements are ensured by the fact that after reaching this Trents, Main combat distance, the air resistance of the projectile is increased or the trajectory of the projectile is influenced in such a way that the speed is reduced faster and the trajectory is reduced (shortened). For this purpose, a change is made on the floor, which causes the change in air resistance or the change in Fiug s.
  • the ammunition or the practice round consists of a projectile body, which receives a bullet-giver.

  • Tracer light as well as retardation element (s) are designed so that they allow the projectile to fly smoothly over a certain distance (main combat distance). Therefore, according to the distance or time of flight of the projectile, they have a charge with a preset nominal burning time. Due to the hot powder gases when the projectile is fired, the tracer track or the pyrotechnic retardation element (s) are ignited in the projectile body. After leaving the gun barrel on the trajectory of the projectile is fired by the one or more delay elements and their delay lines or by the tracer at the end of the preset burning duration arranged in the projectile body pressure generating charge. As a result of the internal pressure arising in the projectile, the projectile giveaway opens along its predetermined breaking points, thereby changing the aerodynamic resistance of the projectile. This changed air resistance ensures that a predetermined residual flight distance is not exceeded.
