Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device and a method for producing cladded yarn on a ring spinning frame.
  • the cladded yarn is produced in that a sliver of staple fibers passes a drawing unit in a ring spinning machine before it is spun into a yarn.
  • a second yarn is added which is foreseen to enwrap the staple fibers at least partially. Different positions of adding fibers are known.
  • US2013040523 was published in February 2013 in the name of The Japan Wool Textile Co. Ltd . It describes a heat-resistant flame-retardant protective suit fabric, which is formed of a spun yarn.
  • the spun yarn for forming the fabric is a two-fold yarn prepared by twisting a first yarn of a uniform blended spun yarn, which is covered by a second yarn on a ring spinning frame.
  • WO9409195 was published in April 1994 in the name of the Wool Research Organisation of New Zealand and describes a process and apparatus for producing a yarn comprising staple fibres twisted together with one or more filament or pre-spun yarns on ring or other types of spinning frames. A proportion of staple fibres are overfed into the structure to provide a bulky sheath of fibres twisted around a central core consisting of one or more filament or pre-spun yarns and a second proportion of the staple fibres.
  • DE102010051434 was published in May 2012 in the name of Zwickauer Kammgarn GmbH and is directed to a device which comprises different fiber material templates that are provided for different fiber materials.
  • a drafting roller is provided for distortion of a fiber material.
  • the fiber material which is detached from a clamping roller arranged at downstream side of the drafting roller, is then twisted into a first yarn.
  • a cover yarn is formed by supplying fiber material from a fiber material supply unit for enwrapping the first yarn.
  • WO2008/068294A1 discloses a device for producing fancy yarn which has a carrier yarn guide, which carries two carrier yarns at a defined distance a from one another in the running direction behind the delivery rollers of the drafting system, in the area of an exit point of the roving from the drafting system, the spinning triangle feed.
  • the carrier yarn guide is designed so that the distance between carriers is adjustable.
  • the carrier yarn guide has an outer guide and an inner guide.
  • the outer guide directs the carrier yarns around the drafting device and the inner guide is used for the actual feed to the spinning triangle.
  • the inner guide is designed as a bracket, which is arranged to be adjustable in angle and orientation about an axis via an adjusting screw.
  • the outer guide is arranged fixed on the axis.
  • One drawback of the prior art is that the process of forming the cladded yarn cannot be controlled in a sufficient manner which results in an inconsistent result with respect to quality. Furthermore, the devices known from the prior art do not offer the opportunity to take influence on the process as such on a ring spinning frame with many spindles. Furthermore, the devices known from the prior art do not allow to arrange the spindles in a dense manner.
  • the invention is directed to a device and a method for producing a cladded yarn based on a ring spinning machine. If appropriate, the device can be used in a similar way on any other type of spinning frame.

  • the fibers of a roving (sliver of unwound fibers), which passes through the drafting unit, are drawn in a defined manner before they are spun in a conventional manner to a yarn by a traveler revolving around the spindle and wound onto a bobbin which is arranged on the related spindle and which rotates at a lower speed then the traveler.
  • a cladding yarn is added to the spinning process in the region of the spinning triangle where the fibers exiting from the drafting unit are spun into a yarn.
  • the aim is to add the cladding fibers in a way that in the resulting cladded yarn they enwrap the yarn spun from the fibers of the roving.
  • a device for making of cladded yarn on a ring spinning frame comprises per operative spindle a first creel foreseen to hold at least one bobbin of roving and a second creel foreseen to hold at least one bobbin of cladding yarn. • the draft control device can be foreseen to provide a force to unwind the cladding yarn from the thereto related bobbin of cladding yarn and/or the deliver the cladding yarn to the spinning, respectively cladding process, where the cladding yarn is cladded around the already spun yarn made out of the roving.
  • several draft control devices can be interlinked to each other such that draft is adjustable simultaneously on different operative spindles.
  • the draft control device is designed to individually interrupt the feeding process of the cladding yarn per spindle, which may be advantageous e.g. in the case of maintenance.
  • the device may comprise a monitoring device to monitor the presence of the cladding yarn and to interrupt the supply of the roving to a related drafting unit if the cladding yarn is not present.

    - Bereitstellen einer Spule (8) eines Vorgarns (7) und einer Spule (11) eines Ummantelungsgarns (13);
    - Zuführen des Vorgarns (7) von der Spule (8) des Vorgarns (7) zu der Zugeinheit (2) der Vorrichtung (1), wobei die Zugeinheit (2) ein Paar Eintrittswalzen (4) und ein Paar Zuführwalzen (6) umfasst;
    - Ziehen des Vorgarns (7) in einer definierten Weise zwischen den Eintrittswalzen (4) und den Zuführwalzen (6) der Zugeinheit (2);
    - Spinnen der Fasern, die durch die Zuführwalzen (6) aus der Zugeinheit (2) austreten, zu einem Garn (9), und Wickeln des Garns (9) auf eine Spule;
    - Zuführen des Ummantelungsgarns (13) von der Spule (11) des Ummantelungsgarns (13) zum Injektor (27), der in dem Bereich des Spinndreiecks einer zugehörigen Spindel des Ringspinnrahmens angeordnet ist,
    - Einführen des Ummantelungsgarns (13) in den Spinnprozess in einem Bereich, in dem das Vorgarn (7) aus der Zugeinheit (2) austritt, wobei der Schritt des Einführens des Ummantelungsgarns ausgeführt wird, während der Injektor (27) in Bezug auf die Zugeinheit (2) in einer Richtung parallel zu der Richtung des Spinnrahmens und synchron mit der Bewegung des Vorgarns, das aus der Zugeinheit (2) austritt, schwingt,
    - Einstellen des Zugs in dem Ummantelungsgarn (13) durch eine Zugsteuervorrichtung (15) in einem Bereich zwischen der Spule (11) des Ummantelungsgarns (13) und dem Injektor (27), und
    - Einstellen des Injektors (27) in Bezug auf wenigstens zwei Drehachsen, die parallel zu der Richtung des Ringspinnrahmens sind, und die in Bezug aufeinander beabstandet sind.
