Definitions
- the present invention relates to a rescue system for rescuing crew members of a ship, with a closed rescue capsule for receiving the crew members, the rescue capsule being arranged in a closed protective space of the ship in an entry position in which the rescue capsule can be climbed by the crew members
- Rescue system has an acceleration device through which the rescue capsule can be accelerated out of the shelter.
- Rescue systems are used on both civil and military ships in order to be able to rescue crew members from the ship in an emergency, for example in cases where the ship threatens to sink.
- Rescue devices e.g. B. open lifeboats or inflatable life rafts.
- a rescue system is known in which, instead of an open lifeboat, a closed rescue capsule is provided to accommodate the crew members in an emergency.
- the escape pod can be lowered into the water from the ship via a slide.
- the rescue capsule offers the crew good protection against the effects of weather and water, e.g. B. due to a brief immersion under the water surface or due to waves.
- the rescue capsule is stored on a weather deck, that is to say a deck which has neither a roof nor is otherwise protected against weather influences. Therefore, damage to the escape pod and the components required to deploy the escape pod cannot be ruled out by wind and weather.
- life rafts are usually used, which are distributed over the ship's weather decks. These life rafts are particularly at risk from the effects of projectiles and / or fragments. There is therefore the Danger that the life rafts are put out of function, so that the crew members cannot be rescued.
- WO 2009/153 240 A1 known rescue system which has a rescue capsule, which is arranged in a shelter.
- the shelter can be moved to a position above the water surface using a loading boom.
- the floor of this shelter can be removed, so that the rescue capsule can be lowered downwards out of the shelter towards the water surface via an acceleration device designed as a lowering device.
- the rescue capsule can only be deployed from a position above the water surface, which limits the area in which the rescue system can be used.
- the object of the present invention is to improve the availability of the rescue capsule.
- the object is achieved in that the acceleration device has a pulling means for accelerating the rescue capsule out of the protective space, the acceleration of the rescue capsule being adjustable.
- the rescue capsule By arranging the rescue capsule within the shelter, the crew members can climb onto the rescue capsule in an area protected against weather and / or combat effects, so that the crew members are protected against these influences.
- the rescue capsule is stored protected from the weather and / or from the effects of battle, so that even if the rescue capsule is stored in the shelter for a long time, no damage from external influences is to be feared. This can increase the availability of the rescue capsule.
- the rescue capsule can preferably be moved from the entry position into a driving position in which the rescue capsule can be moved in the water independently of the shelter and / or the ship.
- the protective space can be closed by a locking element that can be unlocked from the interior of the rescue capsule by an unlocking device, so that the locking element can be opened safely even if the protective space is at least partially below the water surface .
- the closure element is preferably designed as a hatch, via which a hatch opening can be closed.
- the hatch can be made watertight.
- the unlocking device is particularly preferably designed as a mechanical unlocking device.
- the unlocking device can have a handle, for example a crank, which can be coupled to the locking element for unlocking the locking element and can be separated from the locking element after unlocking. It is advantageous if the handle can be moved completely into the interior of the rescue capsule after unlocking the closure element.
- closure element can be detached from the protective space.
- an opening of the shelter can be released so that the escape capsule can be brought out of the shelter through the opening.
- the closure element can preferably be completely removed from the opening of the protective space.
- the closure element is particularly preferably detachable in such a way that it can fall off the ship.
- the shelter has a valve through which water can be introduced into the shelter.
- the pressure inside the shelter can be adjusted to the pressure outside the shelter. This makes it easier to open the protective space, in particular to release the protective element.
- the rescue system has an acceleration device by means of which the rescue capsule can be accelerated out of the shelter.
- the rescue capsule can be set in motion, especially in your direction of travel, using the acceleration device. This makes it possible to quickly remove the rescue capsule from the shelter in an emergency, which can be particularly advantageous when the ship is under attack. It is not necessary to use a crane e.g. B. in the ceiling area of the shelter for deploying the rescue capsule, whereby the shelter can be made more compact overall.
- the acceleration device is preferably designed as a catapult device, so that the rescue capsule can be catapulted out of the shelter.
- the acceleration device has a pulling means for accelerating the rescue capsule out of the shelter.
- the rescue capsule can be pulled out of the shelter using the traction mechanism.
- the traction means can be designed, for example, as a pull rope, as a pull wire or as a pull chain.
- the acceleration of the rescue capsule is adjustable, so that the acceleration can be selected depending on the flooding condition of the shelter.
- the acceleration can particularly preferably be set such that the rescue capsule can be deployed with a greater acceleration, provided the shelter is above the water surface and can be deployed with a smaller acceleration if the shelter is below the water surface that an overuse of the acceleration device, in particular the traction means, due to a higher resistance of the water can be avoided.
- the rescue capsule in the entry position is accommodated in a receptacle in a dispensing direction along which the rescue capsule can be removed from the shelter, so that the rescue capsule can be removed from the shelter directly from the entry position .
- the deployment direction preferably coincides with the direction of travel of the rescue capsule, so that the rescue capsule can continue to move in the same direction after being released from the shelter.
- the receptacle can be designed in the manner of a linear guide.
- a preferred embodiment of such a receptacle has several roles on which the rescue capsule rests in the entry position.
- the receptacle particularly preferably has a plurality of rollers arranged on two opposite walls of the protective space, so that the escape capsule is accommodated between the rollers in the entry position.
- the rescue capsule can be linearly movable in a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the rollers.
- the rescue capsule in the entry position, is received in a receptacle in such a way that it is secured against movement transversely to the dispensing direction, so that damage to the rescue capsule by collisions with the walls of the shelter can be avoided.
- the rescue capsule is preferably secured against floating in the entry position, so that there is no fear of damage to the rescue capsule even when water penetrates into the shelter.
- the receptacle preferably has stops for preventing movement of the rescue capsule in a direction transverse to the deployment direction.
- the receptacle which has rollers
- the receptacle has stops which prevent the rescue capsule from moving parallel to the axis of rotation of the rollers.
- the stops can be designed as separate components from the rollers. It is particularly preferred if the stops are formed on the rollers, which results in a particularly compact structure. It is advantageous if the stops form a linear guide together with the rollers.
- the rescue device preferably has a damping device for damping the effects of shock on the rescue capsule in the entry position. Vibrations of the rescue capsule due to the action of shock waves can be reduced and damage to the rescue capsule prevented via the damping device will.
- the damping device particularly preferably has damping elements via which the receptacle of the rescue capsule is mounted in the shelter. In the case of a receptacle which has rollers, a plurality of rollers are preferably arranged in a holder which is connected to the protective space via damping elements.
- the shelter is designed as an exchangeable module, so that a ship can be equipped with the rescue system on a mission-specific basis. Furthermore, in the case of a shelter designed as a module, it is possible to replace the shelter after the rescue capsule has been deployed with an unused shelter with rescue capsule.
- the module can be designed in the manner of a transport container. The module can preferably be detachably arranged on a ship.
- the protective space is armored, so that the protection of the rescue capsule from the impact of projectiles is increased.
- the protective space can have a ballistic self-locking structure and / or be made of armored steel. It is preferred if the protective space is designed to be pressure-tight and / or watertight and / or gas-tight.
- the rescue capsule has an electric drive, in particular, so that the rescue capsule can be moved in water after being removed from the shelter.
- the rescue capsule preferably has a battery and / or a solar cell for supplying the drive.

Description

Fig. 1-3 an den Rollen 112 angeordnet.
