Description

The invention relates to an effect panel with a honeycomb structure forming a first layer with honeycomb openings extending substantially at right angles to the layer and with a second layer, which is at a distance from the first layer and designed as a glass plate. A glazing of this kind is from the DE 86 10 271 U1 known.

From the document DE 199 00 934 C2 ( EP 1 020 585 A1 ) is known a three-layer plate-shaped object whose middle layer is formed as a honeycomb plate. At least one of the outer layers is formed as a glass plate. As material for the honeycomb panel plastic is specified. Due to its structure, this object is particularly suitable as a mechanically strong component, for example as a tabletop. For use as a window or facade element of this object is less suitable, in particular because the two outer layers abut the honeycomb panel and therefore no way is provided to ventilate the space between the outer layers and the honeycomb panel and thereby the Avoid formation of condensation. The same applies to other known multilayer components ( DE 44 45 228 A1 ), which are composed of two cover layers of glass and a middle, applied to both cover layers support layer of a honeycomb panel.

The invention has for its object to propose an effect panel, which is suitable for use as a facade element.

To solve this problem, the honeycomb structure is located on a third, made of wood layer, so that the wood properties can be used for facade elements.

The honeycomb structure can be varied almost arbitrarily in terms of structure and choice of material to achieve the desired effect. In this context, the term "effect" is understood to mean not only the visual impression but also other physical effects.

The honeycomb structure can consist of a fiber, in particular pulp fiber-containing material, for example cardboard. This material is particularly inexpensive to manufacture and process. Further advantages of the material are that it is a renewable raw material, or is this environmentally friendly disposal possible. However, the honeycomb structure can also consist of film material, in particular plastic or metal foil material. Another embodiment provides that the honeycomb structure is treated with a fire retardant. Such effect panels can be used as fire protection elements. The honeycomb structure can also be formed by adjoining pipe segments.

Another embodiment provides that the clear width of the honeycomb openings and / or the wall thickness between the honeycomb openings changes over the areal extent of the honeycomb structure. As a result, many optical effects can be achieved and the mentioned effects with respect to thermal insulation can even vary over the surface of the effect panel. The honeycomb structure can be designed in any color. It is even conceivable to provide the inside surfaces of the honeycomb openings with different colors, so that the color of the effect panel appears different when viewed from different sides.

According to another embodiment, spacers are provided between the honeycomb structure and the glass plate. As a result, the individual layers of the Effektpaneels need not necessarily be held together by a frame, but it can, for example, brackets are used. Furthermore, thanks to these spacers, honeycomb structures with a low rigidity can also be installed.

According to another embodiment, if the spacers consist of elongate elements which are embedded in depressions of the honeycomb structure and protrude beyond the plane of the honeycomb structure, the stiffness of the honeycomb structure is simultaneously increased.

According to another embodiment, at least one surface of the second layer formed as a glass plate is provided with a surface structure, resulting in further design possibilities.

The three layers can all be surrounded by a frame. In this case, the frame may have openings which allow ventilation of the space between the honeycomb structure and the glass plate.

The frame can consist of various materials and profile shapes. If it is intended to be mounted on the outside of a building, it must be ensured that it is durable and any ventilation openings must be designed so that it is not rain-proof.

The Effektpaneel invention can be combined with insulating glass plates by the second layer is a layer of insulating glass.

Another aspect of the invention relates to a facade cladding comprising effect panels according to the invention. Of course, the advantages and design possibilities mentioned above also apply to the façade cladding.

One embodiment of the facade cladding provides that facade profiles are arranged between the effect panels. These facade profiles can be used in a known manner for attaching the effect panels on the facade.

Also, the position information selected in the description, such as top, bottom, side, etc. related to the immediately described and illustrated figure and are to be transferred to a new position analogous to the new situation.

The embodiments show possible embodiments of the Effektpaneels and the cladding, which should be noted at this point that the invention is not limited to the particular embodiment variants thereof shown, but also various combinations of the individual embodiments are mutually possible and this variation possibility due to the teaching of the technical Acting through the subject invention in the skill of those working in this technical field is the expert. Thus, all conceivable embodiments that are possible by combinations of individual details of the embodiment variant shown and described are also included within the scope of protection, which is defined by the patent claims. Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of an effect panel with three layers. A first layer 1 in the form of a honeycomb structure is arranged at a distance 4 from a second layer 2, which is formed as a glass plate. As the third layer 3, a glass plate is provided, against which the honeycomb structure 1 is applied. The effect panel after Fig. 1 Although similar in construction to Effektpaneel invention, but has the difference to an effect panel according to the invention as a third layer 3 a glass plate and no wood layer.
The Fig. 1 also shows purely and schematically, for example, a frame which holds the said layers together. A Z-shaped profile 6 surrounds the glass plate 2, a spacer profile 8 and the honeycomb structure 1. An end profile 9 is fastened to the profile 6 by fastening means 7, for example screws. Of course, other frame structures can be used for holding the effect panel together. Also, the Effektpaneel, as already mentioned, be constructed without a frame. To the honeycomb structure 1, at least in this embodiment, no high demands are made in terms of their strength and rigidity, since it is not burdened by external forces. So that the honeycomb structure 1 retains its shape, it can either be made sufficiently dimensionally stable or by appropriate inserts be amplified, as will be explained below. Alternatively or additionally, the honeycomb structure 1 can also be connected to the layer 3 by gluing.

For ventilation of the space formed by the distance 4 between the honeycomb structure 1 and the glass plate 2 openings 10 are provided in the frame, in particular in its lower and upper region, of which in Fig. 1 only one is visible, in the upper area of the effect panel. By an arrow 11, an air flow is indicated, which flows through the said space and thus prevents, for example, fogging of the glass plate 2. But it is also possible to complete the entire space between the two glass plates 2 and 3 by a suitable frame tight, to evacuate and optionally to fill with a gas. As gas are pure gases such as carbon dioxide or nitrogen, but also gas mixtures, and noble gases. Even air that has previously been dehumidified as completely as possible can be filled into the evacuated room.

As already mentioned, as a material for the honeycomb structure 1, for example, cardboard can be used. The FIGS. 2 and 3 For example, show a honeycomb structure 1 formed from corrugated cardboard, wherein the Fig. 2 a side view of the corresponding layer 1 shows and Fig. 5 a view in the direction of arrow V in FIG. 2 represents. If necessary, the honeycomb structure 1 may be formed or reinforced so as to stand practically loosely between the glass plates 2 and 3. The FIGS. 2 and 3 show a way to reinforce the honeycomb structure made of corrugated cardboard in this example 1. Between the layers of corrugated cardboard reinforcing layers 12 are incorporated at intervals, which are stronger or made of a different material than the other layers.

Fig. 4 shows another example of a reinforcement in which slots are incorporated in the honeycomb structure, for example milled, in which reinforcing strips 13, which consist for example of plywood, inserted and optionally are attached by gluing. In some cases, it may be sufficient if the slots are filled with a hardening material.
As FIG. 5 shows, the reinforcing bars 13 may also protrude over the surface of the honeycomb structure 1 and in this way simultaneously form spacers, which are supported on the layer 2. Fig. 6 shows another example of spacers that simultaneously perform a gain function. These are T-profiles 14, for example made of aluminum, which are adhesively bonded to the honeycomb structure 1, for example. In some cases, it may be sufficient to provide spacers which do not reinforce the honeycomb structure 1 and which are only punctiform supported on the layers 2, 3. Fig. 7 shows such an example in which arranged in a grid pins 15 penetrate the honeycomb structure 1 and protrude on both sides. However, this example does not form part of the invention. The material of the honeycomb structure 1 can be treated with a fire retardant, so that the honeycomb structure is fire-resistant or fire-retardant. If the material is made of fibers, it may be impregnated with the fire retardant. But it is also possible to coat the material with fire retardant or to integrate in the case of plastic substances with fire retardant effect in the material.
Hereinafter, embodiments of a facade cladding will be described, which is constructed with effect panels according to the invention. Fig. 8 shows an embodiment of such, designed for mounting in a facade cladding effect panel. The frame designated 18 here can be executed solid as shown in the drawings, but alternatively it can also be made for example from drawn or extruded profiles. As a material for the frame 18, for example, come wood, aluminum or plastic in question. As the Fig. 8 shows, in this embodiment, arranged on the building exterior surface of the glass plate 2 (left in the figure) is not overlapped by the frame 18. This can, as indicated in the drawing, be made possible by an adhesive bond between the frame 18 and the glass plate 2. The third Layer 3 forming plate is designated in this example with 19 and consists of wood. On the honeycomb structure 1 side facing away from the plate 19, an insulating layer 20 is arranged in this example.

The Fig.9 and 10th show two embodiments of an effect panels of the type described above containing facade cladding. In both examples, the frames 18 of the effect panels are attached to posts 23, which in turn are connected to a building or to a building wall (not shown). In the example below Fig. 9 engage between the frame 18 of two adjacent effect panels fastening means through which a facade profile 21, optionally with the interposition of a rubber-elastic part, is stretched against the glass plate 2. In the example below Fig. 10 the joints between adjacent effect panels are relatively narrow and filled with a sealant 22, as indicated in the figure. Both in the embodiment according to Fig. 9 as well as with that Fig. 10 can be provided with appropriately designed openings in the frame for ventilation of the glass plates 2.

For the sake of the order, it should be pointed out that, for a better understanding of the construction of the effect panel and the facade cladding, these or their components have been shown partly unevenly and / or enlarged and / or reduced in size.
