Definitions
- the invention relates to a door, in particular front door, with a door frame and a door panel, wherein the door frame comprises a plurality of door frame profiles which are interconnected, further wherein the door panel has a first and a second plate-shaped viewing element, which at least partially form an outer surface of the door panel , as well as with at least one stiffening element.
- Doors often have a door frame made of plastic profiles, which holds a door panel.
- the door panel fulfills the one hand, the task of the optical design of the door by the door panel has corresponding outside viewing panels.
- the door panel is trying to reduce the weight of the front door by using appropriate lightweight materials or components such as honeycomb panels, etc. are used.
- the door panel is also provided with a foam core to achieve a corresponding thermal insulation.
- stiffening elements are used in the door frame.
- WO 2008/086516 A1 discloses a door with all features of the preamble of claims 1 and 8.
- the present invention is based on the object to improve the stability of a door, in particular a front door.
- This object is achieved with a door according to claim 1 and a use of a glass element according to claim 8.
- the advantage here is that glass on the one hand causes a very good stiffening of the door and thus increases the stability of the door.
- the connection of the visual elements or other elements of the door panel can be improved via the glass, since the glass surface allows easy and good production of adhesive joints.
- glass is relatively inexpensive to manufacture. By using the glass reinforcement can be dispensed with a special corner strength of the door frame, so that the production of the door frame is simplified.
- Another advantage is that through the use of safety glass, such as laminated safety glass, the security against burglary of the door can be improved.
- the stiffening element is formed by a multi-pane insulating glass element with at least two glass panes spaced apart from one another. It is thus achieved in addition to the stiffening of the door at the same time improving the thermal insulation.
- the first and the second plate-shaped viewing element each have at least one recess, which allow the viewing through the door leaf. It can thus be realized simultaneously with the glass stiffening and a viewing window in the door, so no additional provisions for the insertion of glass sheets must be made in the door panel.
- the stiffening element is glued to the door frame, since glass, as already stated, offers a good possibility for bonding.
- gluing the cross section of the door frame profiles of the door frame can be simplified by corresponding grooves for insertion of the glass element can be dispensed with, or these can be configured simpler. It is therefore possible in a simple manner that the door frame is completed before the onset of the stiffening element and then the stiffening element only has to be glued to the frame.
- the two glass panes of the multi-pane insulating glass element are different sizes. It is thus possible to form the profiling of the door frame profiles of the door frame, at least in the region of the receptacle of the glass element step-shaped, so that the stiffening element can be inserted from one side of the door frame and thus easier in this.
- two stiffening elements are arranged, which are each formed by a multi-pane insulating glass element with at least two spaced apart glass panes. It will thus further improve the thermal insulation and the stability of the door.
- this embodiment is advantageous if the door panel has a higher layer thickness, since the distance between two glass panes of a multi-pane insulating glass element can be kept low and thus the volume between the two glass panes can also be smaller. This in turn ensures that Thermal expansions of the gas filling in this volume due to temperature fluctuations have a smaller influence on the bulging of the glass panes of the multi-pane insulating glass element, ie that the multi-pane insulating glass element is dimensionally stable.
- the at least one stiffening element is arranged flush with the door frame, since in this case, the door frame can be at least partially covered by the viewing elements without much effort. If the viewing elements are connected to the door frame, so that the overall stability of the door can be improved due to this overlap.
- first and the second visual element are glued to the stiffening element, since thus a corresponding power flow over the entire door panel or the entire door is achieved.
- FIG. 1 a front door 1 is shown in front view and without frame.
- front view is meant the view from the outside, if the front door is installed normally.
- the front door 1 comprises or consists of a door frame 2 and a door panel 3, which forms the door leaf.
- the front door 1 comprises four door frame profiles 4, namely a lower horizontal profile 5, an upper horizontal profile 6, a right vertical profile 7 and a left vertical profile 8.
- door frame 2 can also have more than four door frame profiles 4, for example, in that the vertical profiles 7, 8 are designed in two parts or in which a further horizontal profile is inserted between the horizontal profiles, etc.
- the door frame profiles 4 may be mitred or bluntly abutting one another. In the event that the door frame profiles 4 are made of a plastic, they are preferably welded together.
- the door frame profiles 4 can be used for the door frame profiles 4 but also a different material, such. Wood, metal, wood materials, etc.
- the door frame profiles 4 are made of plastic, since when using this material, the invention is particularly effective.
- the front door 1 the usual fittings 9 for rotatably mounting the front door on the frame or the building, a door handle 10, a lock 11, etc., which will not be discussed here in detail. Reference is made to the relevant prior art.
- Fig. 2 is a first embodiment of the front door 1 shown in section.
- the front door 1 has a first plate-shaped viewing element 12, which at least partially the outer surface of the front door 1 on the outside, ie the space away side in Installation position of the front door 1, forms.
- the first plate-shaped viewing element is also in Fig. 1 seen.
- the front door 1 has a second plate-shaped viewing element 13, which at least partially the outer surface of the front door 1 on the inside, i. room side in installation position of the front door 1, forms.
- the first plate-shaped element 12 and the second plate-shaped element 13 can cover the door frame 2 at least partially, in particular also entirely, as can be seen from FIG Fig. 2 is shown.
- the overlap on both the lower horizontal profile 5 ( Fig. 1 ), the upper horizontal profile 6 (FIG. Fig. 1 ), the right vertical profile 7 and the left vertical profile 8 of the door frame 2 may be formed.
- first plate-shaped element 12 and the second plate-shaped element 13 are preferably glued to the door frame 2.
- first plate-shaped element 12 and the second plate-shaped element 13 can also be connected differently to the door frame, for example by screws, etc.
- the first plate-shaped element 12 and the second plate-shaped element 13 can also be flush with the door frame 2 in addition to the arrangement and in particular connection with an inner surface 14 or an outer surface 15 of the door frame 2, so that in this case the first plate-shaped element 12 and connect the second plate-shaped element 13 at end faces 16 and 17 of the profiles 5 to 8 of the door frame 2.
- the first plate-shaped element 12 and the second plate-shaped element 13 are each formed in one piece. However, it is also possible to form them in several parts, so that therefore not the entire visible surface of the door panel 3 is covered by one of the viewing elements 12, 13.
- the first plate-shaped element 12 and / or the second plate-shaped element 13 may consist of two, three, four, etc., plate-shaped sub-elements.
- the first plate-shaped element 12 and the second plate-shaped element 13 may consist of a wood material or of wood. But there are also other materials for the first plate-shaped member 12 and the second plate-shaped element 13 can be used, for example, a plastic, or a metal, or a stone, which also material mixtures are possible, ie that at least a portion of the first plate-shaped element 12 and / or the second plate-shaped element 13 is formed by a first material and at least one further part by a further material, for example, the first plate-shaped element 12 has a stone insert.
- the design of the outer, visible surfaces of the viewing elements 12, 13 depends essentially on the particular design requirement for the appearance of the front door 1.
- the stiffening element 18 is formed by a glass element, in particular by a glass pane. It is preferably an unbreakable or shatterproof glass, such as a tempered glass or laminated safety glass used.
- the stiffening element 18 is connected to the door frame 2, in particular glued. In addition, it can be provided that the stiffening element 18 is received by a groove 19 in the door frame profiles 4. Although the stiffening element 18 in Fig. 2 - When viewed from bottom to top - at least approximately centrally located between the two viewing elements 12, 13, this can also be installed off-center in the door panel 3. In the preferred embodiment of the front door 1, the stiffening element 18 is integrally formed. However, there is also the possibility of this form of multiple parts. For example, the stiffening element 18 may consist of two, three, four, etc., plate-shaped sub-elements. According to the invention, the stiffening element 18 extends over the entire surface between the profiles 5 to 8 (Fig.l) of the door frame 2.
- the stiffening element 18 extends over only a portion of this surface, wherein the stiffening element 18th extends in this case at least over the entire distance between the two vertical profiles 5 and 6 or the two horizontal profiles 7 and 8.
- the stiffening element 18 thus extends in each case over the entire distance between two opposite door frame profiles 4 of the door frame second
- the door frame profiles 4 are arranged on the outer circumference of the front door 1.
- the stiffening element 18 is connected to the door frame 2, in particular glued. In the example of the front door 1 after Fig. 2 the stiffening element 18 may be glued into the groove 19. In the case that the stiffening element 18 is formed of several parts, these can be installed adjacent to each other or spaced apart. In the embodiment of the front door Fig. 2 is formed between the viewing elements 12, 13 and the stiffening element 18 each have a gap 20. These intermediate spaces 20 can be filled, for example, with an insulating material, for example a plastic foam.
- Fig. 3 is a further and possibly independent embodiment of the front door 1 shown in section, again for like parts, the same reference numerals or component designations as in the preceding Fig. 1 and 2 be used.
- Fig. 1 and 2 referred or referred.
- the main differences to the design variant of the front door Fig. 2 are that on the one hand two stiffening elements 18 are arranged and that on the other hand they are formed as a multi-pane insulating glass element with at least two spaced-apart glass sheets 21, 22.
- stiffening element 18 may be arranged, for example, two or three arranged one behind the other (relative to the direction of the first plate-shaped viewing element 12 on the second plate-shaped viewing element 13) stiffening elements 18, and / or that the stiffening element 18 is designed as a multi-pane insulating glass element.
- stiffening elements and at least a single glass pane as in the embodiment of the front door after Fig. 2 with at least one multi-pane insulating glass element as in the embodiment of the front door Fig. 3 can be combined.
- the stiffening elements 18 in turn extend at least over the entire surface which extends between the profiles 5 to 8 (FIG. Fig. 1 ) is formed of the door frame. However, at least one of the stiffening elements 18 may extend only over a portion of this area.
- the multi-pane insulating glass elements may be the prior art for this, as this is known from the window industry, be formed. Accordingly, the two glass sheets 21, 22 are arranged spaced from each other, wherein a spacer is arranged therebetween. A gap 23 between the two glass panes 21, 22 may be filled with a gas, in particular a noble gas, such as helium or argon, or a mixture of a noble gas and air.
- the intermediate space 23 can be at least partially filled with a heat-insulating, non-transparent or semitransparent material.
- the multi-pane insulating glass element can also have more than two glass panes 21, 22, for example three or four, etc.
- Fig. 3 are the two multi-pane insulating glass element to form a gap 24 spaced apart in the door frame 2 of the front door 1 arranged.
- This gap 24 may be filled, for example, with an insulating material, such as a plastic foam.
- the multi-pane insulating glass elements are in each case flush with the surfaces 14 or 15 of the door frame profiles 4, ie the profiles 5 to 8 (FIG. Fig. 1 ) are arranged.
- the profiles 5 to 8 may have a protruding toward the door panel 3 web 25, abut on the surface of the multi-pane insulating glass elements and in particular connected thereto, preferably glued, are.
- the first plate-shaped viewing element 12 and the second plate-shaped viewing element 13 are arranged on the two outer surfaces of the multi-pane insulating glass elements.
- these viewing elements 12, 13 are at least partially connected to the respective multi-pane insulating glass element, i. the respective stiffening element 18, connected, preferably glued.
- the door frame is covered by both the first plate-shaped viewing element 12 and by the second plate-shaped viewing element 13 on the respective side in their entirety, as is apparent from Fig. 3 is apparent. But there is also the possibility of only partial coverage or overlap, as is the case Fig. 2 described and in this Fig. 2 is shown.
- the first plate-shaped viewing element 12 and the second plate-shaped viewing element 13 each have a recess 26 and an opening, the passage through the door leaf or the Door panel 3 allow, as in Fig. 1 is shown in dashed lines.
- the two recesses 26 are preferably the same size and are at the same height.
- the two glass panes 21, 22 of the respective multi-pane insulating glass element are the same size.
- the two glass panes of the multi-pane insulating glass element are different in size.
- the two multi-pane insulating glass elements of the front door 1 after Fig. 3 be different in size.
- the profiles 5 to 8 of the door frame 2 are preferably formed as hollow chamber profiles.
- the embodiments show possible embodiments of the front door, it being noted at this point that various combinations of the individual embodiments are possible with each other. For the sake of order, it should finally be pointed out that, for a better understanding of the structure of the front door, these or their components have been shown partly unevenly and / or enlarged and / or reduced in size.

Doors often have a door frame made of plastic profiles, which holds a door panel. The door panel fulfills the one hand, the task of the optical design of the door by the door panel has corresponding outside viewing panels. On the other hand, with the door panel is trying to reduce the weight of the front door by using appropriate lightweight materials or components such as honeycomb panels, etc. are used. Frequently, the door panel is also provided with a foam core to achieve a corresponding thermal insulation. In order to give the door a higher stability against twisting, etc., stiffening elements are used in the door frame.
This object is achieved with a door according to claim 1 and a use of a glass element according to
According to a variant embodiment of the door, it is provided that the stiffening element is formed by a multi-pane insulating glass element with at least two glass panes spaced apart from one another. It is thus achieved in addition to the stiffening of the door at the same time improving the thermal insulation. In a variant that is not part of the claimed subject matter, it is further possible that the first and the second plate-shaped viewing element each have at least one recess, which allow the viewing through the door leaf. It can thus be realized simultaneously with the glass stiffening and a viewing window in the door, so no additional provisions for the insertion of glass sheets must be made in the door panel.
Preferably, the stiffening element is glued to the door frame, since glass, as already stated, offers a good possibility for bonding. By gluing the cross section of the door frame profiles of the door frame can be simplified by corresponding grooves for insertion of the glass element can be dispensed with, or these can be configured simpler. It is therefore possible in a simple manner that the door frame is completed before the onset of the stiffening element and then the stiffening element only has to be glued to the frame.
According to another embodiment of the door is provided that the two glass panes of the multi-pane insulating glass element are different sizes. It is thus possible to form the profiling of the door frame profiles of the door frame, at least in the region of the receptacle of the glass element step-shaped, so that the stiffening element can be inserted from one side of the door frame and thus easier in this.
It is also possible that two stiffening elements are arranged, which are each formed by a multi-pane insulating glass element with at least two spaced apart glass panes. It will thus further improve the thermal insulation and the stability of the door. In particular, this embodiment is advantageous if the door panel has a higher layer thickness, since the distance between two glass panes of a multi-pane insulating glass element can be kept low and thus the volume between the two glass panes can also be smaller. This in turn ensures that Thermal expansions of the gas filling in this volume due to temperature fluctuations have a smaller influence on the bulging of the glass panes of the multi-pane insulating glass element, ie that the multi-pane insulating glass element is dimensionally stable.
It is further advantageous if the at least one stiffening element is arranged flush with the door frame, since in this case, the door frame can be at least partially covered by the viewing elements without much effort. If the viewing elements are connected to the door frame, so that the overall stability of the door can be improved due to this overlap.
It is advantageous if the first and the second visual element are glued to the stiffening element, since thus a corresponding power flow over the entire door panel or the entire door is achieved.
