Definitions

  • the invention relates to a silencer device for a one- or two-barreled firearm, in particular a shotgun, according to the features of independent patent claim 1.
  • a muffler for firearms which can be adapted to different ammunition.
  • an attachable to the muzzle of the firearm lug is provided, forming the muffler muzzle, interspersed by a reject opening tail and arranged between the nosepiece and the tailpiece with a number of successive, aligned chamber parts, which are interspersed in each case by a bullet hole.
  • Each chamber part is attached according to the modular principle directly to the adjacent chamber part and the outer walls of the successive chamber parts form the muffler outer wall.
  • This silencer has a monolithic core, which is made regularly from a single piece of metal.
  • the core is mounted in a tubular housing on the barrel of the firearm.
  • the muffler has a plurality of baffles arranged at opposite acute angles, measured from a perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the muffler, so that the baffles are arranged in an opposite configuration to each other.
  • Each of the baffles has fluted surfaces on both sides and is provided by a rib supported, which is arranged at the lateral center line of each baffle.
  • the US Pat. Nos. 7,931,118 B1 describes a baffle for use in a firearm silencer which employs proximal and distal surfaces with at least one connecting wall positioned between the proximal and distal surfaces and defining two expansion chambers between the proximal and distal surfaces.
  • the connecting wall has a borehole and at least one opening in the wall itself and at least one opening from the borehole in at least one of the expansion chambers positioned between the proximal and distal sides of the baffle.
  • the connecting wall can be either curvilinear, curvilinear, flat or angled. Openings are provided on the proximal and distal surfaces of the baffle. At least one side of the baffle is either flat, curvilinear, curvilinear or asymmetrical to the axis of the baffle.
  • the associated conduction of the explosive gases can lead to a target inaccuracy in the weapon.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a special chamber configuration for a muffler device, by means of which an efficient conduction of the explosive gases within the muffler device - and accompanied by a particularly effective sound attenuation - can be achieved.
  • a silencer device for a firearm in particular a shotgun

  • the inventive muffler device is preferably used in (shotgun) shotguns, in particular Bockdoppelflinten and double shotguns (transverse shotguns). In principle, however, it is also conceivable to use rifles and handguns.
  • the middle part has an elongated, platelet-shaped and non-pierced base element, from which the chamber partition wall elements protrude (ie upwards in the case of a single-barreled weapon and to the left in the case of a double-barreled weapon, such as a double-barreled long shotgun or upwards, or to the left, as in the case of a long-barreled shotgun and to the right).

  • the lateral passages are arranged alternately, wherein preferably the alternately arranged lateral passages and the at least one chamber form a meandering flow path for the explosion gases. Due to such a line of the explosion gases through the chambers of the muffler device, a particularly high sound-damping effect can be achieved. In shotguns can be achieved in this way regularly a sound attenuation of about 140 dB to about 80 dB.
  • “Alternating” in the present case means that the side chamfers of the chamber partition wall elements or the lateral passages are arranged alternately, ie seen in the weft direction left, right, left, etc. or right, left, right, etc.

  • the chamfer or the lateral passage in the first chamber partition wall element for the lower run is arranged on the right side of the muffler device.
  • An equilateral arrangement of the bevels or lateral passages is also possible.

  • the (first) Kammennenntakeement directly opposite the attachment part in any case sections a thicker wall than the other Kammennennitemente.
  • This measure serves to bring into the first chamber (ie which formed between the first chamber partition wall element and the attachment part, so to speak, as an inlet chamber) to absorb introduced pressure and thereby keep the recoil of the weapon as low as possible.
  • the wall may be formed approximately stepped. But particularly preferably, the wall in the form of a (continuous) bevel is formed, wherein the slope is arranged on the side facing the neck of the (first) Kammentrennitements.
  • the bevel includes (viewed in cross-section) an angle ⁇ between 30 ° and 60 °, preferably of about 45 °, with the elongate base element of the middle part. This makes it possible to achieve the most effective recoil damping.
  • the housing part on its outer side on a longitudinal flattening. In this way, a visual overlap of the muffler device with the aiming device of the firearm (i.e., in the case of a rifle with rail and grit) can be safely avoided.
  • the attachment part on its side remote from the muzzle of the firearm side has a recess which serves to receive a narrow side of the elongated base member of the central part. In this way, a particularly good installation or attachment of the middle part can be achieved on the attachment part.
  • the neck portion is flange-shaped to provide a flush fit of the To allow housing part.

  • the end wall element may also be formed by the housing element. The As a rule, the end wall element has a somewhat thicker wall than the chamber partition wall elements lying between it and the first chamber part wall element.
  • the end wall element of the middle part has bores which correspond with bores at the end of the housing part facing away from the barrel mouth of the firearm. In this way, by means of pins, screws or similar fastening means, an efficient assembly or attachment of the housing element can be ensured at the middle part.
  • the attachment part preferably has bores which correspond to bores on the end of the housing part facing the barrel mouth of the firearm and wherein preferably the attachment part also has mounting bores via which the attachment part can be mounted / locked on the barrel mouth of the firearm. • an angle ⁇ between 30 and 60 °, preferably 45 ° with the elongated base member 13a preferred (but not shown here).
  • a second central section 10b is shown for a muffler device 1 for a single-barreled firearm. From the elongated base member 13b protrude the Kammentrennputemente 15d, 15e and the end wall member 17 from. The corresponding bullet holes 15d, 15e or the reject opening 17a are arranged in alignment with each other (as well as with the remaining bullet holes of the first center section 10a). Between the chamber partition elements 15d and 15e of the flat portion F 5, and between the chamber dividing wall element 15e and the end wall 17 of the flat portion F 6 is formed. On the front of the chamber partition wall member 15d of a flat portion F 4 is disposed with the groove 19b, which in turn runs correspondingly over the second central portion 10b. The narrow side 14b of the elongated base member 13b is also used here for mounting in the corresponding recess 16 of the first central portion 10a.
  • recess 32 of the attachment part 30 in turn serves for receiving and mounting the narrow side 14a of the first metal piece 10a.
  • the elongated base elements 13a and 13b thus form the bottom of the muffler device for a single-barreled firearm.
  • the housing part 20 in turn closes flush with the attachment part or the flange ring 36.
  • the corresponding holes and the mounting hole for mounting the muffler device to the muzzle are not shown for reasons of simplicity.
