- the locking lever 7 When the hook 2 is inserted into the formwork part 3, the locking lever 7 is tilted in the opposite direction of insertion x, which can be done manually. However, this is not necessary, as the locking lever 7 tilts itself as soon as its upper section abuts the top edge of the opening 31. Once the hook 2 is inserted and lowered into the engaged position, the locking lever 7 straightens up because its lower edge is pressed against the support of the formwork part 3. The movement of the locking lever 7 is effected on the one hand by the rounded lower edge corner of the locking lever 7 facing the opening 31 and on the other hand by the fastening 7a, 7b.
- the locking lever 7 is attached to the hook 2 by means of a pin 7a, which is mounted laterally or in the middle of the hook 2 and is slidable in an elongated hole 7b of the locking lever 7.
- the rounded edge corner allows the locking lever 7 to pivot into the inclined position (see figure).

- This direction of force, vertical or obliquely upward, represents the only direction of action that is particularly critical for the climbing bracket detaching or becoming dislodged from the formwork component.
- Such a force can occur on a construction site when material is lifted by a crane to/from the platform supported by the climbing bracket.
- the material or parts of the crane can become stuck on the climbing bracket while the crane motor continues to operate and attempts to lift the stuck material further upward.
- the present invention addresses such a problem. This is achieved effectively through the improved climbing bracket and the improved formwork component. Despite the additional elements, the two parts are very easy and user-friendly to connect.
