Definitions
- the invention relates to a door having a door leaf in the form of a composite construction provided with a core and a cover layer.
- Doors with such door leaves usually have a core of chipboard or other wood materials, which may optionally include additional honeycomb inserts to reduce weight.
- This core is often provided with a circumferential wooden profile, which consists mostly of solid wood.
- the composite construction is usually covered on both flat sides with a high-density fiberboard (HDF wood board), which HDF board may be provided with a surface finish, such as plywood, laminate or with a paint job.
- HDF wood board high-density fiberboard
- a disadvantage of such a door construction that building supervisory requirements are not met with respect to the non-combustibility of the building materials and thus the applications are limited for such doors.
- Another disadvantage is that the peripheral edges formed of solid wood are susceptible to the ingress of moisture. The moisture ultimately damages both the core of the composite structure and the cover layer, so that both the stability and the visual appearance of the door is permanently impaired.
- the CN 201802266 U relates to a refractory and burglar-proof door according to the preamble of claim 1, wherein on both sides a plywood plate, a wavy paper and another plate are applied to a perlitenite plate.
- the publication EP 0 628 670 A1 discloses a building fire protection panel comprising two thermosetting and non-combustible outer mineral resin layers, and high thermal and mechanical strength reinforcing fibers and a lower density non-combustible central core, the core consisting of a mineral charge and a binder compatible with the resin which allows adhesion of the core directly to the layers. It is between the mineral resin layers further provided a plate of a material of the same nature as that of the central core.
- the invention is in view of this prior art, the object to provide a door under avoidance of said disadvantages, which is both non-combustible, so meets the requirements of building material class A1, as well as in great variability can be equipped with a decorative cover layer.
- the invention provides a door with a non-flammable door leaf in the form of a composite construction whose core consists of non-combustible mineral silicate material provided with a non-flammable decorative layer which is variably provided according to the desired aesthetic requirements is, wherein the existing problems with such products in terms of edge stability, the risk of cracking and breakage during transport and attachment by the intended circumferential support frame made of metal profiles are avoided. For these reasons, experts have hitherto considered silicate structural panels not suitable for use as non-combustible door panels.
- the present invention is based on the finding that, in contrast to the laminates typically used for building material panels, the non-combustible decorative layer consists of at least two paper layers and a reinforcing layer, such as a glass fiber fleece, resulting in significantly improved performance due to the resulting lower paper content in case of fire leads.
- a reinforcing layer such as a glass fiber fleece
- the reinforcing layer of the decorative layer can also have a positive effect on the stability of the entire building material panel.
- the length and width of such a door can be dimensioned more freely, namely larger, since the risks of sagging and damage caused thereby are avoided by the combination according to the invention of such a building material panel with a closed support frame.
- a core From silicate material is a comparatively low density of only 800 kg / m 3 or less, in particular 700 kg / m 3 or less and thus achieved a low weight.
- the silicate material of the building material panel can also be combined with gypsum or other inorganic fillers and / or fiber materials.
- inorganic fibers made of glass, carbon or aluminum oxide organic fibers such as cellulose fibers or aramid fibers are also suitable as fiber materials.
- gypsum by the addition of gypsum to the building board the fire protection properties of the door panel made therefrom are improved in case of fire in that the water of crystallization bound in gypsum evaporates in case of fire and thereby the fire opposite side of the door leaf is cooled.
- the gypsum supplement increases the specific gravity of the plate, reducing its moisture tolerance and stability. Accordingly, the gypsum content can be adapted to the desired fire protection properties.
- the silicate material contains or consists of perlite. This is advantageous because perlite on the one hand have a very low specific weight and at the same time have good thermal insulation properties and good fire behavior.
- the building material panel forming the core of the door leaf of the door according to the invention has a density of 800 kg / m 3 or less, in particular 700 kg / m 3 or less, preferably 650 kg / m 3 or less, particularly preferably 450 kg / m 3 or less.
- This door leaves can be produced whose specific weight corresponds approximately to that of such door leaves, which have a press chip, that is about 400 to 900 kg / m 3 .
- the door leaves are distinguished from door leaves with press chips by their non-combustibility. In addition, in case of fire through the mineral core neither smoke nor harmful vapors.
- the door leaf core is not only improved in terms of its fire protection properties, but also kept the specific gravity low.
- the decorative layer is glued to the building material plate with a water glass adhesive. It is particularly advantageous to perform the bonding at slightly elevated temperature, for example in the range of 30 to 70 ° C, in particular at 30 to 60 ° C.
- a glass-water adhesive By using a glass-water adhesive, it is possible to stick the decorative layer directly on the building material, so that the use of intermediate metal layers, as are known in the prior art, is not required.
- a primer or an adhesion promoter is used.
- the water glass adhesive used has the further advantage, in comparison to the known from the prior art epoxy or polyurethane adhesives, non-flammable and to develop in case of fire, no smoke or toxic gases.
- the preferably used adhesive based on water glass in case of fire, cooling properties by elimination of water, whereby the fire protection properties of the building material panel are further improved.
- a suitable water-glass adhesive is commercially available, for example, from the company Woellner under the name COLLOSIL®.
- the cover layer comprises or consists of a melamine resin.
- melamine resin shows a more favorable fire behavior compared to the phenol-formaldehyde resins commonly used for building material panels.
- the topcoat can also contain a flame retardant and / or be equipped with it.
- a flame retardant suitable for this purpose can be integrated into the material of the cover layer and / or the cover layer can be equipped therewith.
- suitable Flame retardants are, for example, polybrominated diphenyl ethers (pentaBDE, octaBDE, decaBDE), TBBPA and HBCD, melamine, urea, APP (ammonium polyphosphate), TCEP (tris (chloroethyl) phosphate), TCPP (tris (chloropropyl) phosphate), TDCPP (tris (dichloroisopropyl) phosphate), TPP (triphenyl phosphate), TEHP (tris- (2-ethylhexyl) phosphate), TKP (tricresyl phosphate), ITP (“isopropylated triphenyl phosphate"), mono-, bis- and tris (isopropylphenyl) phosphates of varying degrees of isopropylation, RDP (resorcinol bis (diphenyl phosphate)), BDP (bisphenol A bis (diphenyl phosphat
- the reinforcing layer may comprise or consist of a flat fiber structure.
- fibers known to those skilled in the art for reinforcing decorative layers can be used for this purpose. These are, for example, fibers of quartz, glass, carbon, aramid or other flame-retardant plastics, fibers of alumina or other inorganic materials or mixtures thereof.
- the fiber structures may be woven or unwoven and used, for example, as a nonwoven, woven fabric and / or scrim.
- the reinforcing layer comprises a Glasermaschinevlies, tissue and / or scrim or consists of the aforementioned fiber structures, preferably in the form of a flame-retardant, equipped with flame-retardant fillers and impregnated with melamine resin fiberglass mat.
- Two, three or more reinforcing layers can also be used.
- the reinforcing layer is arranged between two paper layers, wherein a paper layer is preferably a cellulose paper impregnated with an aqueous melamine resin.
- a paper layer is preferably a cellulose paper impregnated with an aqueous melamine resin.
- at least the paper layer provided with the cover layer is printed, dyed and / or structured. In this way, the door leaf can be given almost any possible optical design.
- the printing can be done for example via a screen printing process. to Generation of a surface structuring can be used by a person skilled in the art for embossing techniques known per se.
- the reinforcing layer and the paper layers are glued to a melamine resin.
- fillers may be added to the melamine resin, in particular inorganic fillers such as gypsum, chalk or the like, as well as mixtures of these.
- the attachment of the support frame on the door leaf is preferably done by gluing. Furthermore, for aesthetic reasons, the support frame may be provided on its outer surfaces with a non-combustible decorative material.
- the illustrated non-combustible building material door T is pivotally inserted in a door frame 1 by means of hinges 2 in a known manner and can be locked by means of a locking device 3.
- the door T has a door leaf 4 which is surrounded on all sides by a support frame R made of metal profiles 5.
- the support frame R covers the upper and lower horizontal edges and edges as well as the lateral vertical edges and edges of the door leaf 4 and is firmly connected to these by a silicone bond 6.
- Each individual, the supporting frame R forming metal profile 5 is U-shaped in cross-section and has free, parallel to the main surfaces of the door leaf 4 extending legs, between which a web 7 extends, covering the side surfaces of the door panel 4.
- the metal profiles 5 are produced by multiple deformation of a single elongated metal strip on which both the two free legs and the web 7 are formed by suitable folding.
- the web 7 has a recess directed away from the door leaf, which serves to receive a strip 8 made of a non-combustible material.
- the strip 8 can also be designed with a decorative edge cover.
- the described metal profiles 5 are welded together to produce the support frame R.
- the door leaf 4 itself has a core of a building material 9, which consists of a pressed silicate material using lime, vermiculite, sand, mica, water and aggregates on which by means of a solvent-free inorganic adhesive 10, a decorative layer 11 is adhered.
- the decorative layer 11 consists of a reinforcing layer 12 in the form of a glass fiber fabric and a printed paper layer 13, which are laminated to one another by means of a melamine resin. Finally, the paper layer 13 is covered with a cover layer 14 of melamine resin. In the manner described, both main surfaces of the door leaf 4 are provided with a decorative layer 11.
