Abstract

Procédé pour introduire des extrémités de fil de trame dans une foule (1.1,1.2) d'un métier à tisser. À l'aide de moyens de sélection de fils de trame (19), des fils de trame (3) sont sélectionnés puis introduits dans la foule à l'aide de moyens d'introduction de trame et soumis à un battage au niveau de la bordure de tissu (13) au moyen d'un dispositif à peignes (7, 7.1,10). Un fil de trame (3) est soumis au battage et maintenu dans la zone du bord de tissu, dans une position définie, à l'aide de moyens de retenue, puis, après introduction de la trame à travers les moyens de formation de foule (4), un changement de foule est réalisé.
