Abstract

The invention relates to a piece of kitchen furniture having a useful surface area and at least one functional element arranged above the useful surface area. Deductions for kitchen furniture are known from the prior art, which are arranged separately above the kitchen furniture and suck the cooking fume upwards. In such an arrangement, the cooking fume must bridge a long distance since the fume is typically located above the user's head. This requires high air velocities in connection with large amounts of air, which is associated with a high energy consumption, a high noise and a low-efficient extraction. From the prior art, the so-called niche suction is still known. This is understood to mean a plate-shaped trigger which is arranged perpendicular or obliquely projecting from the cooktop and which protrudes ascending cooking vapor sucks backwards. The disadvantage here is an insufficient suction for the front of the hob, which is far away from the trigger. Furthermore, a high energy consumption and a high noise pollution results from the fact that the boiling vapors, which rise upward of their own accord, have to be redirected to the rear, which requires increased suction power.

From DE 20 2012 004 271 U1 a suction is known. Furthermore, from the prior art, a suction is known, which provides rectangular and closable slots in addition to the hob and in the hob. The cooking vapor is discharged through the hole or the closable slots down.

A disadvantage of these arrangements is a high energy consumption and increased noise pollution in that the hot cooking vapor rises physically due to a condition and a deflection in the opposite direction is required. Another disadvantage of these arrangements lies in the openings in the floor space or hotplate, because so when running over a pot liquids can run into the suction. Although a filter provided in these devices catches a part of the overcooking mass, a part penetrates through the filter into a designated collection point, which must be cleaned regularly to avoid odor nuisance. This requires additional work for the user.

The aim of this invention is to provide a cooking furniture, with which the above-mentioned disadvantages can be solved. Another object of the invention is to provide a kitchen furniture, which, compared to known kitchen furniture has increased usability and functionality. This object is achieved with a kitchen furniture according to one of the independent claims.

According to the invention, on the one hand, a kitchen furniture according to the preamble of claim 1 is provided, which has a directly attached to the kitchen furniture support member for the functional element. The useful surface of the kitchen furniture is typically horizontal or substantially horizontal. Overall, from all the various advantages of this new extraction technology results in a significant increase in the effectiveness of the suction, a lower noise pollution and a significant cost reduction of the suction compared to the prior art. The integration of the extraction in the hob creates a single and compact working area. So it does not need to be planned, maintained and installed with two separate devices - hob and vacuum unit. This leads to low manufacturing, assembly and maintenance costs.
