The present invention relates to a roller leveler according to the preamble of claim 1, for straightening straightening material, in particular straps and metal parts, which can be inspected, maintained and maintained in a simple and fast manner, including cleaning. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for inspecting, servicing and maintaining a roller leveler including cleaning work.
Rolled materials, such as strip steel or even rolled, in particular hot rolled sheets, have on its surface after the manufacturing process impurities such as scaling, which are replaced when straightening means Walzenrichtmaschinen by the bends of the material, after which they fall by gravity or at the top Stick to elements of the roller leveler.
Roll leveling machines conventionally have an upper and a lower roll mill, with an upper or lower leveling unit, wherein the upper leveling unit with respect to the lower leveling units by means of a plurality of drives moves up and down and, for example, to set the bite gap, can be inclined. The upper leveler conventionally comprises a plurality of upper straightening rollers and the lower straightening unit comprises a plurality of lower straightening rollers. The upper straightening rollers are mounted in upper bearing strips, and the lower straightening rollers are mounted in lower bearing strips.
A plurality of upper support rollers of the upper leveler and lower support rollers of the lower leveler serves to support the upper and lower straightening rollers, wherein the upper and lower support rollers are in turn mounted in a plurality of Stützrollenböcken.
The falling by gravity impurities hit the lower support rollers and contaminate them. This leads on the one hand to higher wear, but can also have an additional negative impact on the straightening rollers and thus on the straightening result. The same applies to adhering to the upper support rollers impurities.
In the operation of roller leveling machines not only cleaning operations must be carried out at certain intervals, but also include inspection, maintenance and repair work. This work is the more complex the larger the straightening machines are. Large straightening machines have heavy straightening rolls of up to 500 kg and more per straightening roll. The present invention is particularly suitable for large roll leveling machines with large and heavy leveling rolls.
The maintenance and cleaning of the support rollers requires according to the prior art, a significant amount of time. In the assembled state, in which the lower straightening rollers lie on the lower support rollers, with two support rollers support a straightening roller, to make the support rollers accessible, the straightening rollers must be removed from the straightening machine, which in particular in the above-mentioned heavy straightening rollers a caused considerable expense. For this purpose, the lower straightening rollers, which must be stored separately next to the straightening machine, are removed from the drive side at which the cardan shafts are located on the opposite side, the operator side, after removal of the bearing strip bearing the straightening rollers. Thereafter, the support rollers are freely accessible and can be moved out together with the Stützrollenböcken from the leveler - in the axial direction of the straightening rollers - inspected and cleaned. Other maintenance work, such as the relubrication of bearings can also be done.
In order to restore the operating state of the leveler, then the corresponding assembly steps must be done in reverse order.
The present invention is therefore based on the object to improve a roller leveler of the type mentioned in such a way that a much simpler and time-saving inspection, maintenance and servicing of the leveler including cleaning of the lower and upper support rollers is made possible.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a corresponding method for inspecting, maintaining and maintaining a roller leveler.
The roller leveling machine of the present invention, which is defined in claim 1, is characterized in that the lower bearing bars are detachably connectable from the lower roller mill and detachably connectable to the upper bearing bars, so that when raising the upper roller mill, the lower straightening rollers together with the upper roller Straightening rollers can be raised, and the lower support rollers are moved out together with their lower Stützrollenböcken from the straightening machine along the axis of movement of the straightening material and / or that the upper bearing strips on the lower bearing strips and detachable from the upper roll mill, whereby after lifting the upper roll mill the upper support rollers together with their upper Stützrollenböcken along the axis of the movement of the straightening material are moved out.
Thus, the great advantage is achieved that in a quick and easy way and in particular by means of the existing drive on the one hand, a method of lower leveling rolls is made possible upwards, whereby the free accessibility of the lower support rollers is enabled and on the other hand, a free accessibility of the upper support rollers is created in that the upper bearing strips are detachable from the upper roller mill and can be stored on the lower bearing strips. The straightening rollers remain in the straightening machine.
Advantageously, these are bolted to the upper bearing strips for lifting the lower bearing strips.
The connection of the two bearing strips takes place, for example, in that angle rails are provided as connecting elements between the lower bearing strips and the upper bearing strips, one angle rail each being arranged in a respective lateral end section of the lower bearing strips and the upper bearing strips.
Alternatively, the detachable connection can be realized that are provided as connecting elements of the lower bearing strips with the upper bearing strips connecting plates on the outer longitudinal side of the lower and upper bearing strips, which are releasably connected by screws with the lower and upper bearing bar.
In a further advantageous alternative embodiment, a positive releasable connection of the lower bearing strips with the upper bearing strips is provided by displaceable wedge-shaped connecting elements, each of which is slidably mounted in a groove in the lower bearing bar and each in a notch of the upper bearing bar for temporary connection Both bearing strips can be inserted.
The movement of the wedges can be done hydraulically, electrically or pneumatically.

This method thus allows for a quick inspection, maintenance and service procedure including cleaning of the lower support rollers while avoiding the disassembly and reassembly of the lower leveling rollers.
It is particularly advantageous that all upper and lower straightening rollers and the associated bearing strips can remain in the straightening machine, whereby the disadvantages of the prior art are overcome. Thus, this method is particularly suitable for large straightening machines with large and heavy straightening rollers.
It is advantageous that the upper bearing strips and the lower bearing strips are screwed together via connecting elements, such as angle bars or connecting plates. This only requires very simple connection elements. Alternatively, the upper bearing strips and the lower bearing strips can be releasably connected together by means of connecting wedges.
When retracted, the support roller blocks can also be easily exchanged.
