Definitions
- the invention relates to a carton for packaging goods or for decoration. Moreover, the invention relates to a flat strip of material for producing such a carton.
- Folding boxes of various kinds are known. Regularly, the cartons have several wall elements which are connected to each other via lines of weakness.
- the cartons usually have a bottom and a cover element with which the respective carton can be closed.
- the cartons are usually delivered in a flat, partially assembled state.
- the folding boxes are unfolded on automatic machines or semiautomatic machines or manually, depending on the number of copies, and filled with the product to be packaged.
- an additional loop or a gift ribbon can be attached as a decoration.
- the vendors or the packing staff have to pack a variety of goods as a gift, often long lines in front of the corresponding tables.
- the care of the seller or the packaging staff in the packaging of the goods so that the goods are rather careless and dirty packaging after some time.
- the boxes are usually gray cardboard, which is covered with differently patterned paper.
- the boxes are already built so that no manual unfolding or assembling is required. As a result, the box takes up a lot of space, which is impractical for storage and transport and high costs. In addition, such gift boxes are relatively expensive.
- US 132 368 shows a gift box according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the present invention seeks to provide an improved carton, which has a high-quality optical and can be unfolded quickly and intuitively including Dokorationsmaterial. Furthermore, the invention has for its object to provide a flat strip of material from which a corresponding carton can be made.
- the carton according to the invention is given by the features of the main claim 1.
- the flat material strip according to the invention for producing such a folding box is given by the features of claim 4.
- Advantageous embodiments and developments of the carton and the strip of flat material are the subject of subsequent claims to these claims.
- the carton according to the invention has four wall elements, which are connected in rows with their lateral edges in each case over mutually opposite weakening lines.
- the two outer wall elements are attached to each other.
- the carton has a lid member and a bottom member, which together with the wall elements form a closed body, in the interior of which the product to be packaged can be stored.
- the cover element has two cover tabs. The use of two separate cover flaps results in a significantly lower bulging of the cover element, which leaves a visually appealing impression on the end user.
- At least two strips of material are present on the folding box, which are fastened to mutually opposite wall elements and which can be fastened to each other at least in the area of the cover element.
- a total of four material strips can be present in an advantageous manner, so that in each case a material strip can be attached to each of the wall elements.
- two mutually opposite material bands could then be fastened to each other in each case in the region of the cover element and in the region of the bottom element.
- two loops may be present.
- the two other material bands could then be fastened together as described below.
- the material strips may be formed so long that they can be tied in the region of the cover element and / or in the region of the bottom element to form a loop.
- the material strips can also be glued to one another in the region of the cover element and / or in the region of the floor element. This can be done for example via a double-sided tape. This tape may already be present on the tapes, so that only the protective film has to be removed in order to fasten the tapes to each other. Subsequently, a further decoration of the carton can be made, for example via a ready-tied loop, a decorative sticker or any other decorative object.
- the bottom element may be formed as a glued bottom.
- a glued floor can still allow a flat folding of the carton, so that a flat transport of the same is possible.
- the floor is already finished, so that no further unfolding or plugging in this regard is required, which allows a particularly simple and rapid unfolding of the folding box.
- the bottom element When using the folding box as a decorative object and the bottom element in an advantageous embodiment may have two bottom flaps.
- the bottom flaps are also intuitive to close and allow a symmetrical appearance of the carton.
- the wall elements, the cover element and the bottom element of the folding box can form a body in the form of a closed cuboid or a truncated pyramid.
- the lines of weakness between the individual wall elements are each parallel to each other.
- Such folding boxes can be stored to save space and are universally suitable for many different forms of products to be packaged.
- the lines of weakness between the individual wall elements could also be directed toward one another, so that a folding box in the form of a truncated pyramid results.
- the carton may be made of cardboard or cardboard-like material or at least contain such material. Such material can be easily recycled; at the same time it is sufficiently stable to protect the product to be packaged.
- the carton is formed from a one-piece blank. This results in no additional effort in the production of such a carton, which would be necessary, for example, by positioning a plurality of independently present blank parts.
- the strip of flat material according to the invention for producing a corresponding folding box has four wall elements, which are connected in a row with their lateral edges to each other via weakening lines lying opposite one another.
- a fastening tab is present, which has a further weakening line with the other wall elements opposite the lateral edge of outer wall element is connected.
- two cover tabs are present, each of which attaches to the upper edge of a wall element via a line of weakness.
- the cover tabs are present on one of the two outer wall elements and on one of the two middle wall elements, wherein the corresponding wall elements are separated from one another via a further wall element. At the lid tabs each a push-in tab is present.
- the sum of the height of the two cover tabs corresponds to the respective width of the two free wall elements on which no cover flap is present.
- a carton made from such a flat strip of material would have a two-part cover element, in which the two cover tabs would bulge significantly less than with a single lid flap.
- two bottom tabs may be present, each of which attach via a line of weakness at the lower edge of a wall element.
- the bottom flaps can be present on one of the two outer wall elements and on one of the two central wall elements, wherein the corresponding wall elements are separated from one another via a further wall element.
- the bottom flaps may in particular be present on those wall elements on which the cover flaps are present.
- At the bottom tabs each can be present a tuck.
- the sum of the height of the two bottom flaps can correspond to the respective width of the two free wall elements on which no bottom flaps are present.
- the two lid or bottom flaps can be made the same height.
- the height of one of the two lid or bottom flaps would correspond to half the width of the free wall element.
- the resulting in the insertion of the lid or bottom flaps and thus the closing of the carton slot in the lid or bottom element would then be exactly in the middle, which is a visual gives an appealing impression.
- such a central slot can be particularly easily covered by the decoration of the carton.
- a dust flap hangs over a weakening line on the two free wall elements, to which no lid or bottom flap hangs.
- the two dust flaps each have a slot which runs perpendicular to the line of weakness between the wall element and the dust flap. In this slot, the Einstecklaschen the lid or bottom flaps can be inserted to later close the carton safely, without the lid or bottom flaps can solve themselves again.
- the slot in the two dust flaps may preferably extend to the line of weakness between the respective wall element and the corresponding dust flap.
- the Einstecklasche the lid relationship as bottom flap can thus extend over the entire width of the lid or bottom flap, which allows a visually appealing impression of the closed carton and at the same time can provide a reliable attachment of Deckelberziehungrii bottom tab.
- the dust flaps may be attached to the free edges of the adjacent lid or bottom flaps via a line of weakness.
- a crimp fold can be present in each case in the corner region of the dust flap. This creasing fold can halve the angle between the line of weakness between the dust flap and the wall element and the line of weakness between the dust flap and the bottom flap.
- the strips of flat material for producing the folding boxes are printed in order to obtain a visually appealing folding box.
- the cut edges of the strip of flat material are not printed. Therefore, at this point, the material of the strip of flat material would be visible, noticeable.
- dust flaps no cut edges on the edges of the lid or bottom flaps are more visible, which gives a visually appealing and high-quality impression of the carton.
- a material band is attached to at least two of the four wall elements.
- the decoration for the subsequent carton is already present in the blank, so that they no longer have to be purchased separately.
- a later gift ribbon no longer needs to be placed in the middle, but is already pre-fixed, so that the process of decorating the carton is possible quickly and reproducibly.
- the material straps are present on the free wall elements to which no lid straps and / or bottom straps attach. In this way, the material bands can conceal the slot between the two lid or bottom flaps in a particularly simple manner visually appealing.
- the attachment of the material bands can be carried out in an economic manner, that they are adhered to the respective wall elements.
- the adhesive area does not have to be made over the entire length of the wall elements. Rather, it may be sufficient to provide an adhesive only in sections. In this case, the adhesive region should preferably take place in the lower or middle region of the wall elements.
- the material ribbons reach over the bottom area of the carton, as long as the subsequent carton box is used as a gift box.
- the folding box is usually handed over and set up so that the floor area is not visible.
- the material bands can thus rest flush on the lower edge of the respective wall elements. In this way, material band can be saved.
- the material strips can protrude as far as desired over the upper and / or lower edge of the wall elements. If the material bands are to be tied into a loop, it is also necessary that they are made relatively long.
- the material strips should in this case consist of a flexible material, so that it can not come to unwanted kinking or damage to the material bands during transport and storage of the strip of flat material.
- the material bands in this case can be cloth or textile bands.
- first and two second bands of material may be present.
- the first material bands are present on those wall elements to which the Boden SCmoid attach lid flaps.
- the second bands of material are present on those wall elements to which no Boden SCmoid attach lid flaps.
- the first material strips may be attached over their entire length to the strip of flat material and extend over the entire height of the lid or bottom flaps.
- the two first material bands can still extend at least a little way into the region of the respective insertion tabs.
- the two second material strips may preferably be present only in the region of the wall elements on the flat material strip.
- the two second material bands can project beyond the upper and / or lower edge of the respective wall elements by a certain amount, so that the two second material bands can be fastened to one another in the region of the base element and / or in the region of the cover element. This can be done in particular via a double-sided adhesive tape or via binding into a loop. It would also be possible to fasten the two second material strips in the area of the floor element to one another via a double-sided adhesive tape and to form a loop in the area of the cover element.
- the flat material strips may have parallel lines of weakness, so that a rectangular, cuboid carton can be made from it.
- folding boxes can be stored to save space and are universally suitable for many different forms of products to be packaged.
- the flat material strip can consist of cardboard or cardboard-like material or at least contain such material.
- a carton 10 of the invention can be prepared.
- the flat material strip 12 is in Fig. 1 shown so that the outside of the later carton 10 facing upward.
- the flat material strip 12 has four wall elements 20, 22, 24, 26 in the present example case.
- the individual wall elements 20, 22, 24, 26 hang over lines of weakness 30, 32, 34 in a row together.
- the weakening lines 30, 32, 34 each extend parallel to one another and represent the lateral edges of the respective wall elements 20, 22, 24, 26.
- a fastening tab 38 hangs on the first wall element 20 via a further weakening line 36.
- the fastening tab 38 can be fastened to the inside of the fourth wall element 26, for example by means of an adhesive strip.
- a lower dust flap 40, 42 On the wall elements 22, 26 is in each case a lower dust flap 40, 42.
- the dust flaps 40, 42 hang over lines of weakness 44, 46, to the respective wall elements 22, 26 at.
- On the wall elements 20, 24 is in each case a lower bottom flap 50, 52nd
- the bottom flaps 50, 52 are attached via weakening lines 54, 56 to the respective wall elements 20, 24.
- the bottom flaps 50, 52 each have a fastening region 60, 62, which can be fastened to the inside of the dust flaps 40, 42.
- Such a glued floor as a bottom element of a carton is basically already known from the prior art.
- a cover flap 70, 72 On the first wall element 20 and the third wall element 24 is in each case a cover flap 70, 72.
- the cover flaps 70, 72 hang over weakening lines 74, 76 on the respective wall elements 20, 24 at.
- the two cover flaps 70, 72 have the same height 78.
- the height 78 corresponds to half of the width 28 of the second or fourth wall element 22, 26.
- the two cover tabs 70, 72 thus together form the cover element of the folding box 10th
- An insertion tab 80, 82 is located on each of the two cover tabs 70, 72.
- the insertion tabs 80, 82 hang over weakening lines 84, 86 against the cover tabs 70, 72.
- a dust flap 90, 92 At the second wall element 22 and the fourth wall element 26 is in each case a dust flap 90, 92.
- the dust flaps 90, 92 hang over weakening lines 94, 96 on the wall elements 22, 26 at.
- the two dust flaps 90, 92 After the height 78 of the two cover flaps 70, 72 corresponds to half the width 28 of these wall elements 22, 26, the two dust flaps 90, 92 each have a slot 100, 102 approximately in the center. In this slot 100, 102, the push-in tabs 80, 82 can be inserted.
- a material strip 104, 106 glued is present in the present example case in each case.
- the material strips 104, 106 are placed on the respective wall elements 22, 26 such that the material strips 104, 106 cover the slots 100, 102 in the dust flaps 90, 92. This allows the material strips 104, 106 in the assembled state of the carton 10 on the placed between the two lid tabs 70, 72 resulting slot 108.
- the material bands 104, 106 are arranged approximately in the center of the wall elements 22, 26. If the lid flaps 70, 72 would have different heights, resulting in a laterally disposed slot 108, the material bands 104, 106 could also be placed eccentrically on the wall elements 22, 26 in order to be able to conceal the slot 108 in the folded state.
- the material bands 104, 106 are over an amount 110 on the line of weakness 94, 96 via.
- this amount 110 is less than the sum of the height 78 of the cover flaps 70, 72 and the height 88 of the insertion flaps 80, 82. In this way, damage to the material strips 104, 106, for example, during transport and storage of the flat material strips 12 be prevented, since they do not survive beyond the outer edge of the flat material strip 12.
- the flat material strip 12 could basically already in its in Fig. 1 state sold to the end customer. In general, however, the flat material strip 12 is at least partially glued and unfolded put into the market in order to allow the end user as comfortable and intuitive use of the carton 10.
- the fastening tab 38 is fastened to the wall element 26 and the flat material strip 12 is folded at the weakening line 32.
- the attachment portions 60, 62 of the bottom flaps 50, 52 are fastened to the lower dust flaps 40, 42, so that the bottom element automatically results as soon as the folding box 10 is also bent at the weakening lines 30, 34.
- the closing of the lid member is done for the end user in an intuitive manner by first the two dust flaps 90, 92 to the Weakening lines 94, 96 are folded inward (see Fig. 2 ). Subsequently, the insertion of the two Einstecklaschen 80, 82 of the two lid flaps 70, 72 take place (see 3 and 4 ). In the last step, then the fastening of the two material strips 104, 106 together (see Fig. 5 ). The two strips of material 104, 106 are fastened together in the example shown here by means of a double-sided adhesive tape 112. In the present exemplary case, the double-sided adhesive tape 112 is already present on the material strip 104, so that only the protective film has to be removed in order to fasten the material strip 106 to the adhesive tape 112 and thus to the material strip 104.
- the bands of material 104, 106 could also be tied into a loop. In this case, however, the material strips would have to be formed significantly longer than is the case in the present example case.

- the dust flaps 140, 142, 144, 146 each have approximately in the middle a slot 160, 162, 164, 166. In these slots 160, 162, 164, 166, the Einstecklaschen 80.6, 82.6, 130, 132 can be inserted later.
- the dust flaps 140, 142, 144, 146 also hang on the side Edges of the cover tabs 70.6, 72.6 and the bottom tabs 120, 122 via lines of weakness 168, 170, 172, 174,176, 178 at.
- the upper dust flap 140 is thus connected to the two cover flaps 70.6, 72.6 and to the second wall element 22.6.
- the lower dust flap 144 is connected to the two bottom flaps 120, 122 and the second wall element 22.6.
- the upper dust flap 142 is connected only to the fourth wall element 26.6 and the cover flap 72.6;
- the lower dust flap 146 is only connected to the fourth wall element 26.6 and bottom flap 122.
- a fastening tab 180, 182 is present, which can be attached to a flap portion 184, 186.
- This flap portion 184, 186 depends on a line of weakness 188, 190 on the free edge of the lid flap 70.6 and the bottom flap 120 at.
- attachment tabs 180, 182 could also attach to the tab members 184, 186 via a line of weakness. In this case, the fastening tabs 180, 182 could then be attached to the upper dust flap 142 and the lower dust flap 146, respectively. This embodiment would be particularly easy to assemble.
- the squish creases 192, 194, 196, 198 are located in the dust flaps 140 and 144.
- the squish fold 192 in the dust flap 140 bisects the angle between the weakening line 150 between the second wall element 22.6 and the dust flap 140 and the line of weakness 168 between the dust flap 140 and the lid flap 70.6.
- the creasing fold 194 in the dust flap 140 bisects the angle between the line of weakness 150 between the second wall element 22.6 and the dust flap 140 and the line of weakness 170 between the dust flap 140 and the lid flap 72.6.
- the crease 196 in the dust flap 144 bisects the angle between the line of weakness 154 between the second wall element 22.6 and the dust flap 144 and the line of weakness 174 between the dust flap 144 and the bottom flap 120.
- the creasing fold 196 in FIG The dust flap 144 bisects the angle between the line of weakness 154 between the second wall element 22.6 and the dust flap 144 and the line of weakness 176 between the dust flap 144 and the bottom flap 122.
- the creases 200, 200 in the dust flap 142 halves the angle between the line of weakness 152 between the fourth wall element 26.6 and the dust flap 142 and the line of weakness 172 between the dust flap 142 and the flap 72.6 ,
- the creasing fold 202 in the dust flap 146 bisects the angle between the weakening line 156 between the fourth wall element 26.6 and the dust flap 146 and the line of weakness 178 between the dust flap 146 and the bottom flap 122.
- the crimping folds 192, 194, 196, 198, 200, 202 are each inwardly folded, so that the adjacent areas of the dust flaps 140, 142, 144,146 come to rest on each other , This has the advantage that no cut edges of the flat material strip 12.6 can be seen in the region of the lid and bottom element of the folding box 10.6.
- the stuffer creases with creases could also in the embodiment according to the Fig. 1 to 5 be used with glued soil.
- first material strip 210, 212 glued is present in the present example case.
- the material bands 210, 212 are placed in the middle of the respective wall elements 20.6, 24.6.
- the material bands 210, 212 extend approximately from the center of the insertion tabs 130, 132 of the bottom tabs 120, 122 to about the middle of the Einstecklaschen 80.6, 82.6 of the cover tabs 70.6, 72.6.
- the material strips 210, 212 are attached in the present example case over its entire length to the flat material strip 12.6.
- the outlines of the material strips can be identified at least in sections in the insertion tabs 80, 82, 130, 132. In this way, the two ends of the strips of material 210, 212 can be accurately positioned, so that there is a continuous circulating belt, without this having to be aligned after assembling the carton.
- the marking of the outlines of the material strips by a color marking done, since the Einstecklaschen 80, 82, 130, 132 are not visible in the assembled state of the carton.
- the marking can be made by a scoring line or a score line, since such a mark would be recognizable both from the later outside of the folding box and from the later inside of the folding box.
- a second material strip 214, 216 glued is present in the present example case.
- the material bands 214, 216 are placed against the respective wall elements 22.6, 26.6 so that the material bands 214, 216 cover the slots 160, 162, 164, 166 in the dust flaps 150, 152, 154, 156.
- the material bands 214, 216 in the assembled state of the folding box 10.6 can be placed above the slot formed between the two cover tabs 70.7, 70.6 or between the two bottom tabs 120, 122.
- the material bands 214, 216 are likewise arranged approximately in the center of the wall elements 22.6, 26.6.
- the material strips 214, 216 are fastened to the flat material strip 12.6 only in the region of the wall elements 22.6, 26.6. However, they overflow with an amount over the wall elements 22.6, 26.6, which in the present example case is so large that the material strips 214, 216 can be bound in the region of the bottom element and in the region of the cover element of the folding box 10.6 in each case to form a loop.
- the two material bands 214, 216 could also be fastened to one another, for example, by means of a double-sided adhesive tape. In this case, the material strips 214, 216 could be formed correspondingly shorter.
- the flat strip 12.6 could in principle already in his in Fig. 6 state sold to the end customer. As a rule, however, the flat material strip 12.6 is at least partially glued and unfolded into the market in order to enable the end customer to use the folding box 10.6 as comfortably and intuitively as possible.
- the fastening tab 38.6 is fastened to the wall element 26.6 and the flat material strip 12.6 is folded at the weakening line 32.6.
- the attachment tabs 180, 182 are attached to the tab members 184, 186.
- the closing of the lid member and the floor member is done in an intuitive manner to the end user by first folding the dust flaps 140, 142, 144, 146 inwardly at the weakening lines 150, 152, 154, 156. If the crimp creases 192, 194, 196, 198, 200, 202 are already correspondingly pre-bent, the cover flaps 70.6, 72.6 and the bottom flaps 120, 122 fold inwards more or less automatically. Subsequently, the insertion of the two Einstecklaschen 80.6, 82.6 of the two lid flaps 70.6, 72.6 and the two Einstecklaschen 130, 132 of the two bottom flaps 120, 122 done.
- the two first material strips 210, 212 already form a circulating belt around the folding box 10.6.
- the fastening of the two second material strips 214, 213 to one another takes place.
- the two material bands 214, 216 are bound in the example shown here to form a loop.
- the material bands 214, 216 could also be attached to each other via a double-sided adhesive tape.
- the double-sided tape could already be present on one of the two second material belts 214, 216, so that only the protective film would have to be removed in order to fasten the two material belts 214, 216 to one another.
- the lines of weakness 30, 30.6, 32, 32.6, 34, 34.6, 36, 36.6, 44, 46, 54, 56, 74, 74.6, 76, 76.6, 84, 84.6, 86, 86.6, 94, 96, 124, 126, 134, 136, 150, 152, 154, 156, 168, 170, 172, 174, 176, 178, 188, 190 are each formed in the present example as creasing lines to allow the simplest possible and exact folding of the carton.
- the crimp creases 192, 194, 196, 198, 200, 202 are each in the present example designed as creasing lines in order to allow the most simple and exact folding of the folding box.
- the lines of weakness 30, 30.6, 32, 32.6, 34, 34.6, 36, 36.6 each extend parallel to one another. Consequently, the wall elements 20, 20.6, 22, 22.6, 24, 24.6, 26, 26.6 are rectangular and from the flat material strip 12, 12.6, a cuboidal carton 10, 10.6 can be made.
- the individual wall elements could also each have the shape of a trapezoid; the lines of weakness between the wall elements would then no longer be parallel to one another but would converge. In a Faltzuites with wall elements in the shape of a trapezoid would then no cuboid carton more result, but the corresponding carton would have the shape of a truncated pyramid.
