La demande de brevet européen publiée sous le n° EP 2362277 décrit également une pièce d'horlogerie dont le mécanisme, sous l'actionnement d'un bouton poussoir, est capable de faire indiquer sélectivement l'heure de l'un ou l'autre de deux fuseaux horaires par la même aiguille des heures. Le dispositif met en œuvre un marteau bistable, ainsi que deux mobiles de mémoire à cœur, chacun dédiés à un fuseau horaire spécifique, qui sont liés cinématiquement au sein d'une seule et même chaîne de rouage qui est en prise avec une entrée d'un différentiel. Le décalage horaire entre les deux fuseaux horaires est déterminé par la position relative des deux cœurs qui est pilotée par le marteau bistable. Chacun des mobiles de mémoire comporte également les moyens de réglage du fuseau horaire qui est affiché par la pièce d'horlogerie.
Les mécanismes de commutation et de réglage de l'affichage décrits dans le document précité ont notamment pour inconvénient d'être dissociés du mécanisme de réglage de l'heure et des minutes de la pièce d'horlogerie. De ce fait, ce dispositif ne peut en aucun cas se suffire à lui-même et doit être associé à un deuxième mécanisme de façon à effectuer l'ensemble des réglages de la pièce d'horlogerie. Par ailleurs, cette situation exige la présence d'un organe de réglage additionnel en complément de l'organe de réglage des fuseaux horaires, et a donc des impacts sur l'habillage de la pièce d'horlogerie.

The display switching and adjustment mechanisms described in the aforementioned document have the particular drawback of being separate from the hour and minute adjustment mechanism of the timepiece. As a result, this device can in no case be sufficient on its own and must be associated with a second mechanism so as to carry out all the settings of the timepiece. Moreover, this situation requires the presence of an additional adjustment member in addition to the member for adjusting the time zones, and therefore has an impact on the trim of the timepiece.

Claims (15)

  1. A device (300; 200) for displaying the time, notably a timepiece (300) or a timepiece movement (200) comprising a time display member (A1, A2) and a switchover mechanism (100) allowing the time display member to switch over between a first time zone and a second time zone and to select a first geartrain for setting the first time zone or a second geartrain for setting the second time zone, this switchover mechanism comprising:
    - a first heart piece (3) able to rotate, connected to the display member (A1, A2) by a drivetrain,
    - a first lever (1) having a first end (1a) designed to collaborate with the first heart piece (3) in order to cause the display member (A1, A2) to indicate the time in the first time zone,
    - a second lever (2; 42) designed to make the display member (A1, A2) indicate the time in the second time zone,
    - a two-position selection member (5) collaborating with the first lever (1), and
    - a control member (P) for selecting the first or the second time zone to be displayed and which collaborates with the two-position selection member (5),
    the two-position selection member (5) being designed to collaborate directly with a second end (1b) of the first lever (1).
  2. The device as claimed in claim 1, in which the first lever (1) and the second lever (2) are joined together, notably the first lever (1) being fixed on the second lever (2).
  3. The device as claimed in one of claims 1 to 2, further comprising a second heart piece (4) coaxial with the first heart piece (3), able to rotate independently of the latter, connected to the display member (A1, A2) by a second drivetrain and designed to collaborate with said second lever (2, 42).
  4. The device as claimed in one of claims 1 to 3, comprising an control stem (T) able to occupy at least two positions, the control stem (T), in one of these positions, collaborating with the control member (P) and/or with the selection member (5) so as to set the time in the first or second time zone selected by the control member (P) and displayed by the display member (A1, A2).
  5. The device as claimed in the preceding claim, in which the positions of the control stem (T) comprise a rewind position and a time-setting position, the control stem (T), in the time-setting position, collaborating with the control member (P) and/or with the selection member (5) so as to set the time in the first or second time zone selected by the control member (P) and displayed by the display member (A1, A2).
  6. The device as claimed in one of claims 4 to 5, comprising a clutch perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the control stem (T) and collaborating with a winding pinion (51) so as to actuate the winding mechanism.
  7. The device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which the first and second setting geartrains are distinct.
  8. The device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which the device, notably the switchover mechanism, comprises selection means (16, 25; 54, 1c) for selecting the first or second setting geartrain corresponding to the time zone selected and displayed by the display member (A1, A2) and by means of which the time is to be set.
  9. The device as claimed in the preceding claim, in which the control stem (T) collaborates with a pull-out piece (15, 50) itself collaborating, firstly, with at least one rocking lever (18, 21, 53) to set the time, and secondly, with said selection means (16, 25; 54, 1c) that select the setting geartrain.
  10. The device as claimed in one of claims 8 and 9, in which the means for selecting the setting geartrain comprise, firstly, a second pull-out piece (16) collaborating with the first pull-out piece (15), a first rocking lever (18) and a second rocking lever (21) and, secondly, a follower (25) collaborating with the second pull-out piece (16), the first rocking lever (18), the second rocking lever (21) and the column wheel (5).
  11. The device as claimed in one of claims 8 to 10, in which the selection means that select the setting geartrain comprise a cam (54) and an arm (1c) provided on the first lever (1) and collaborating with the cam (54) .
  12. The device as claimed in the preceding claim, in which one end of the arm (1c) of the lever (1) is designed to collaborate with a pin (57) fixed to the cam (54) so as to cause the latter to pivot in such a way that it drives a rocking lever (53) via the rotating of the pull-out piece (50).

The device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which the first and second setting geartrains are connected to two distinct inputs of a differential and/or in which one or other of the two setting geartrains is kinematically connected to the minutes indication and/or further comprising a hand (A3) designed to indicate the time in the time zone selected by the control member (P) over a 24-hour cycle.
  14. The device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, further comprising a display member (D), for displaying the time difference between the two time zones, notably in number of hours.
  15. The device as claimed in the preceding claim, comprising a dial provided with an aperture (G) and a mask (M) provided between the display member (D) and a dial of the device, in order, depending on the position of the first lever (1) to either mask or not mask the part of the display member (D) that is situated facing the aperture (G).
