Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sitzmöbel in Form einer eine Rückenlehne und eine Sitzfläche aufweisenden Bank mit zwei in der Ebene der Rückenlehne angeordneten hinteren Stützbeinen und zwei in den jeweils vorderen äußeren Eckbereichen der Sitzfläche angeordneten vorderen Stützbeinen.
  • Soweit ein derartiges Sitzmöbel allgemein durch Benutzung bekannt ist, erlaubt eine als Sitzmöbel vorliegende Bank lediglich die Funktion eines Besitzens insbesondere durch zwei oder mehrere, nebeneinander auf der Sitzfläche sitzende Personen. Nun treten oft Situationen auf, in denen eine Abstellfläche in Form einer Tischplatte gewünscht ist. Das Beistellen eines gesonderten Tisches ist jedoch häufig aus Platzgründen nicht möglich; weiterhin bedeutet das Vorhalten eines gesonderten Tischmöbels auch einen zusätzlichen Platzaufwand für dessen Aufbewahrung wie auch einen zusätzlichen Herstellungsaufwand für das gesondert zu fertigende Tischmöbel.
  • Ein eingangs genanntes Sitzmöbel ist beispielsweise aus US 5,292,172 bekannt.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Sitzmöbel der eingangs genannten Art zur Verfügung zu stellen, welches neben der reinen Sitzfunktion geeignet ist, wenigstens eine weitere Funktion zur Verfügung zu stellen.
  • Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe ergibt sich einschließlich vorteilhafter Ausgestaltungen und Weiterbildungen der Erfindung aus dem Inhalt der Patentansprüche, welche dieser Beschreibung nachgestellt sind.
  • Die Erfindung sieht in ihrem Grundgedanken ein Sitzmöbel in Form einer eine Rückenlehne und eine Sitzfläche aufweisenden Bank vor, bei welchem die Sitzfläche senkrecht zur Ebene der Rückenlehne geteilt ist und jeder dadurch gebildete Sitzflächenteil zusätzlich zu seinem vorderen Stützbein wenigstens ein innenliegendes Stützbein aufweist und wobei die beiden Sitzflächenteile um ihr jeweils hinteres Stützbein in eine seitlich zur Rückenlehne gelegene Sitzposition ausschwenkbar sind und die an einem Grundgestell schwenkbar gelagerte Rückenlehne aus ihrer Rückenlehnenposition zwischen die nach außen ausgeschwenkten Sitzflächenteile in eine waagerechte und einen vertikalen Abstand zur Sitzfläche der Sitzflächenteile aufweisende Tischposition schwenkbar und in dieser Tischposition mittels einer an dem Grundgestell gelagerten Stütze festlegbar ist.
  • Mit der Erfindung ist der Vorteil verbunden, dass das erfindungsgemäße Sitzmöbel zunächst weiterhin die Funktion eines Besitzens durch vorzugsweise zwei nebeneinander auf der Sitzfläche sitzende Personen erlaubt. Soll nun beispielsweise eine Ablagefläche geschaffen werden, so können die beiden aufgrund der erfindungsgemäß vorgenommenen Teilung der Sitzfläche vorgenommenen Sitzflächenteile um 90° Grad nach außen ausgeschwenkt werden, so dass ein der Breite der Bank bzw. der Rückenlehne entsprechender Zwischenraum frei wird. In diesen Zwischenraum wird nun die Rückenlehne aus ihrer Rückenlehnenposition um ihre Halterung an einem Grundgestell hochgeklappt und in einer Tischposition mittels einer an dem Grundgestell gehalterten Stütze fixiert, so dass damit aus der üblichen Bank nunmehr eine Sitzgruppe bestehend aus zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Sitzen mit einem dazwischen liegenden Tisch geschaffen ist. Insofern ist mit der Erfindung der Vorteil verbunden, dass im Bedarfsfall eine Tischplatte aus der Bankkonstruktion herausgeklappt und in Funktion gesetzt werden kann, ohne dass ein zusätzliches Tischmöbel beigestellt und vorgehalten werden muss. Im Rahmen des erfindungsgemäßen Gebrauchs wird dabei lediglich die Breite der ursprünglichen Sitzbank vergrößert, ohne dass aber zusätzlicher Raum für einen vor der Bank aufzustellenden Tisch benötigt wird. Die Tischfläche verbleibt vielmehr innerhalb des von der Bank eingenommenen Raumes.
  • Nach einem Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, dass die Rückenlehne um eine am oberen Ende des Grundgestells angeordnete, sich parallel zur Sitzfläche erstreckende Querstrebe schwenkbar ist.
  • Zur Anbringung der für die erfindungsgemäße Nutzung erforderlichen Stütze kann vorgesehen sein, dass das Grundgestell eine zusätzliche, sich parallel zur Sitzfläche erstreckende und mit Abstand zu der die Rückenlehne halternden Querstrebe angeordnete Querstrebe aufweist, an der die die Rückenlehne in deren Tischposition festlegende Stütze schwenkbar gelagert ist.
  • Soweit nach einem Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung vorgesehen ist, dass die Rückenlehne eine in ihrer Rückenlehnenposition bis unterhalb der Sitzfläche reichende Erstreckung aufweist, ist damit der Vorteil verbunden, dass die zwischen den ausgeschwenkten Sitzflächenteilen gegebene Erstreckung der als Tischplatte dienenden Rückenlehne eine größere Tischfläche zur Verfügung stellt. Von der Erfindung sind aber auch Ausführungsbeispiele umfasst, bei welchen die Rücklehne in Erfüllung ihrer Rückenlehnenfunktion nur bis an die Sitzfläche des Sitzmöbels heranreicht; in diesem Fall ergibt sich beim Hochschwenken der Rückenlehne eine Tischplatte mit kleinerer Abmessung.
  • Nach einem Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist es zweckmäßig, wenn die hinteren Stützbeine einen einstückigen Bestandteil des die schwenkbar daran gelagerte Rückenlehne haltenden Grundgestells bilden.
  • Soweit nach einem Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung vorgesehen ist, dass jeder Sitzflächenteil ein innenliegendes Stützbein aufweist, welches jeweils mittig unter den in der eingeschwenkten Position aneinander anliegenden Trennleisten der Sitzflächenteile angeordnet ist, und sich damit eine Abstützung des jeweiligen Sitzflächenteils auf drei Stützbeinen ergibt, ist hiermit der Vorteil verbunden, dass das zunächst innenliegende Stützbein in der ausgeschwenkten Stellung der Sitzflächenteile an der Vorderseite des Sitzflächenteils zu liegen kommt, so dass dadurch aufgrund der Freigabe des Eckbereichs des Sitzflächenteils zu dem von der Tischplatte überdeckten Raum ein besserer Einstieg zwischen Sitzflächenteil und Tischplatte gegeben ist.
  • In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wiedergegeben, welches nachstehend beschrieben ist. Es zeigen:

  • Die in Figur 1 zunächst dargestellte Bank 10 weist eine Rückenlehne 11 und eine Sitzfläche 12 auf. Die Bank verfügt dabei über zwei hintere Stützbeine 13 und zwei vordere, in den Eckbereichen der Sitzfläche 12 jeweils angeordnete Stützbeine 14. Aus Figur 1 ist ferner erkennbar, dass die Sitzfläche 12 der Bank 10 durch zwei aneinander anliegende Trennleisten 15 geteilt ist, so dass sich zwei voneinander getrennte Sitzflächenteile 25 ergeben. Bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ist etwa mittig unter jeder Trennleiste 15 ein innenliegendes Stützbein 16 angeordnet, so dass jeder Sitzflächenteil 25 durch drei Stützbeine abgestützt ist, wobei die jeweils drei einem Sitzflächenteil 25 zuzuordnenden Stützbeine 13, 14 und 16 in ihrem unteren, bodennahen Bereich jeweils durch Verstrebungen 17 miteinander verbunden sind.
  • Die Rückenlehne 11 ist von einem rechteckigen Grundgestell 18 umgeben und daran gehaltert, wobei die hinteren Stützbeine 13 der Bank 10 bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel einstückig mit dem Grundgestellt 18 verbunden sind. Wie sich aus den weiteren Figuren ergibt, weist das Grundgestell 18 an seinem oberen Ende eine sich parallel zur Sitzfläche 12 erstreckende Querstrebe 19 auf, an welcher die obere Kante der Rückenlehne 11 mittels eines entsprechend ausgebildeten Mechanismus schwenkbar gelagert ist. Aus Figur 1 ist weiterhin zu erkennen, dass sich die Rückenlehne 11 in der dargestellten Rückenlehnenposition bis unterhalb der Sitzfläche 12 erstreckt.
  • Um die in Figur 1 dargestellte Bank in die integrierten Tischfunktion zu verbringen, ist es erforderlich, die beiden aufgrund der Anordnung der Trennleisten 15 getrennt zu handhabenden Sitzflächenteile 25 um das sie jeweils tragende hintere Stützbein 13 um 90° Grad nach außen zu schwenken, so dass zwischen den ausgeschwenkten Sitzflächenteilen 25 ein Zwischenraum entsteht, der mindestens der Breite der Rückenlehne 11 entspricht. Wie in Figur 2 durch den Pfeil 24 angedeutet und aus der Darstellung in Figur 3 ersichtlich, wird die Rückenlehne 11 nach dem Herausschwenken der Sitzflächenteile 25 in den zwischen den Sitzflächenteilen 25 gebildeten Zwischenraum um die obere Querstrebe 19 des Grundgestells 18 hochgeklappt und in dieser hochgeklappten Tischposition mittels einer an der zusätzlichen mittleren Querstrebe 20 des Grundgestells 11 schwenkbar gelagerten Stütze 21 festgelegt. In der aus den Figuren 3 bis 5 ersichtlichen Funktionsstellung ist aus der in Figur 1 dargestellten Bank 10 nunmehr eine Sitzgruppe bestehend aus zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Sitzen in Form der Sitzflächenteile 25 mit einem dazwischen liegenden, von der Rückenlehne 11 gebildeten Tisch geschaffen. Da aufgrund der Verschwenkung der Sitzflächenteile 25 um 90° Grad nach außen das zunächst innenliegende Stützbein 16 an der Vorderseite der so gebildeten Sitzgruppe zu liegen kommt, ist der Eckbereich zwischen dem jeweiligen Sitzflächenteil 25 und dem von der als Tischplatte dienenden Rückenlehne 11 überdeckten Raum frei gehalten, so dass von der Vorderseite her ein leichter Einstieg für eine entsprechende Person gegeben ist, die auf dem Sitzflächenteil 25 Platz nehmen will.
  • Die in der vorstehenden Beschreibung, den Patentansprüchen, den Zeichnungen und der Zusammenfassung offenbarten Merkmale des Gegenstandes dieser Unterlagen können einzeln als auch in beiliegenden Kombinationen untereinander für die Verwirklichung der Erfindung in ihren verschiedenen Ausführungsformen wesentlich sein.

Claims (6)

  1. Sitzmöbel in Form einer eine Rückenlehne (11) und eine Sitzfläche (12) aufweisenden Bank (10) mit zwei in der Ebene der Rückenlehne (11) angeordneten hinteren Stützbeinen (13) und zwei in den jeweils vorderen äußeren Eckbereichen der Sitzfläche (12) angeordneten vorderen Stützbeinen (14), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei welchem die Sitzfläche (12) senkrecht zur Ebene der Rückenlehne (11) geteilt ist und jeder dadurch gebildete Sitzflächenteil (25) zusätzlich zu seinem vorderen Stützbein (14) wenigstens ein innenliegendes Stützbein (16) aufweist und wobei die beiden Sitzflächenteile (25) um ihr jeweils hinteres Stützbein (13) in eine seitlich zur Rückenlehne (11) gelegene Sitzposition ausschwenkbar sind und die an einem Grundgestell schwenkbar gelagerte Rückenlehne (11) aus ihrer Rückenlehnenposition zwischen die nach außen ausgeschwenkten Sitzflächenteile (25) in eine waagerechte und einen vertikalen Abstand zur Sitzfläche der Sitzflächenteile (25) aufweisende Tischposition schwenkbar und in dieser Tischposition mittels einer an dem Grundgestell (18) gelagerten Stütze (21) festlegbar ist.
  2. Sitzmöbel nach Anspruch 1, bei welchem die Rückenlehne (11) um eine am oberen Ende des Grundgestells (18) angeordnete, sich parallel zur Sitzfläche (12) erstreckende Querstrebe (19) schwenkbar ist.

Sitzmöbel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Grundgestell (18) eine zusätzliche, sich parallel zur Sitzfläche (12) erstreckende und mit Abstand zu der die Rückenlehne (11) halternden Querstrebe (19) angeordnete Querstrebe (20) aufweist, an der die die Rückenlehne (11) in deren Tischposition festlegende Stütze (21) schwenkbar gelagert ist.
  4. Sitzmöbel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, bei welcher die Rückenlehne (11) eine in ihrer Rückenlehnenposition bis unterhalb der Sitzfläche (12) reichende Erstreckung aufweist.
  5. Sitzmöbel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, bei welchem die hinteren Stützbeine (13) einen einstückigen Bestandteil des die schwenkbar daran gelagerte Rückenlehne (11) haltenden Grundgestells (18) bilden.
  6. Sitzmöbel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, bei welchem jeder Sitzflächenteil (25) ein innenliegendes Stützbein (16) aufweist, welches jeweils mittig unter den in der eingeschwenkten Position aneinander anliegenden Trennleisten (15) der Sitzflächenteile (25) angeordnet ist.
