Claims (9)

  1. A timepiece comprising:
    - a case (1) comprising a sealed part (2) and an unsealed part (3),
    - a striking mechanism (40) located in the sealed part (2) of the case (1),
    - at least one gong (10, 30) intended to be actuated by the striking mechanism (40),
    characterized in that the one or more gongs (10, 30) is/are situated completely inside the unsealed part (3) of the case (1), in that the unsealed part (3) comprises at least a resonance chamber 12, in that the timepiece comprises transmission means (4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 14 to 28) provided for the transmission of the movements of the striking mechanism (40) occurring inside the sealed part (2) of the case (1) to the one or more gongs (10, 30) situated completely inside the unsealed part (3) of the case (1) and in that the transmission means comprise an elastic membrane (14, 17, 19, 22) separating the sealed part (2) from the unsealed part (3) of the case (1), this membrane (14, 17, 19, 22) being arranged in such a way as to transmit movements of the striking mechanism (40) to the one or more gongs (10, 30), the unsealed part (3) of the case (1) being provided, on the external side of the case (1), with openings (13) and parts forming a resonance chamber (12) being positioned in the openings (13) opposite the at least one gong (10).
  2. The timepiece as claimed in claim 1, in which the membrane (14, 17, 19, 22) comprises at least one striker (15, 16, 18, 23, 24) intended to be struck by the striking mechanism (40) and/or to strike a gong (10, 30).
  3. The timepiece as claimed in claim 2, in which the striker (15, 16, 18, 23, 24) comprises a part (20, 26, 28) situated in the sealed part (2) of the case (1) and a part (21, 25, 27) situated in the unsealed part (3) of the case (1).
  4. The timepiece as claimed in one of claims 2 and 3, in which the striker (18, 23, 24) consists of a plurality of parts (20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28).
  5. The timepiece as claimed in one of claims 2 to 4, in which the one or more strikers (18, 23, 24) is/are detachably secured to the membrane (19, 22).
  6. The timepiece as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which the gongs (30) are secured to a shoe (29) separated from the case (1) of the timepiece by an intermediate insulating component.
  7. The timepiece as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which each gongs is associated with its own resonance chamber (12) .
  8. A method for manufacturing a timepiece as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which at least one gong (10, 30) is arranged in the unsealed part (3) of the case (1).
  9. The method as claimed in the preceding claim, in which transmission means (4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 14 to 28) are provided which are capable of transmitting to the one or more gongs (10, 30) the movements of the striking mechanism (40) occurring inside the sealed part (2) of the case (1).
