Abstract

Method of constructing a swimming pool, pond or body of water, characterized in that at least the following successive stages are carried out: a) pouring concrete to form a concrete slab constituting the bottom of the pool, said slab having dimensions greater than the dimensions of said water basin, b) fixed to said concrete slab thus formed first panels (5) delimiting the lower portion of the basin, these panels having curved edges (6) drilled, c) assembling at least some of these first panels (5), second panels (4) having curved edges (6) drilled, these second panels (4) being placed above the first panels (5) being joined to these by one of their bent edges (6) drilled, these first and second panels (4, 5) also being secured to at least one stiffening element (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, d) for each stiffening element (10), a strut (17) is attached to the concrete slab at one of its ends, the other end of said strut (17) being connected to the elongated body (11) the corresponding fastening element, e) adjusting the inclination of each stiffening element (10) relative to its corresponding strut (17) so as to ensure the verticality of the corresponding first and second panels relative to the horizontal surface of the ground.
