Definitions

  • the invention relates to a collecting device for forming bundles of sheets, in particular bank notes, which are fed to the collecting device from a single sheet transport, and for feeding sheet bundles to a plurality of output stations, comprising a frame-shaped frame, a stacking station with a stacking device comprising at least one stacking wheel for stacked laying sheets on a stacking surface and a trolley for transporting a sheet or a sheet bundle from the stacking station to the output stations, wherein the trolley is adjustable by means of a carriage drive arranged on it along a guideway which is formed on the frame, and wherein the guide track a basic position section adjacent to the stacking device and at least one output section each leading to an output station.
  • a collecting device of the type mentioned above is used, for example, in a cash dispenser and serves to first combine the bills taken from the cassettes for the individual note values into a bundle according to the request of the operator and then to supply this bundle to the respective delivery station. At the same time non-dispensable banknotes must be sorted out and fed to a reject bin. Furthermore, it must be possible to withdraw a not removed by the operator banknote bundle and also store in the reject compartment.
  • a collecting device of the type mentioned above despite an increased functionality require as little space and at the same time be designed so that the cash dispenser can be adapted to different installation situations.
  • a collecting device of the type mentioned is, for example, from the US-A-6,086,065 known.
  • the guideway has a rack, in which engages a connected to the trolley gear, which is driven by the carriage drive.
  • the collecting device has two dispensing stations, wherein the output sections of the guideway leading to these dispensing stations are connected to the basic position section of the guideway via a sliding switch.
  • This sliding switch carries two differently shaped sections of the guideway, which can optionally be brought into alignment with the basic position section.
  • a leading to a reject tray further section of the guideway is also accessible via a sliding switch.
  • the number of required shift switches needed to connect the home position section to the various output stations is one less than the number of approachable stations.
  • a plurality of individually switchable points not only requires a high control effort but also leads to an increased space requirement for the movement path of the trolley, since the radii of the curved track sections can not be made arbitrarily small.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a collecting device, which makes it possible with little space optionally connect the home position section to a plurality of output sections.
  • the output sections are each optionally connectable to the basic position section via a common circular switch.
  • the circular switch preferably has a turntable on which a plurality of web segments are arranged, each of which is intended for connecting at least two sections of the guideway.
  • the inventive crossover offers the possibility to connect in a confined space each of the sections of the guideway with the basic position section, which, as will be explained later, by a combination of rotation of the diverter and the transport movement of the trolley, the possibility of the trolley practically in place to pivot and thus turn in a new direction.
  • This eliminates curve sections of the guideway, which in turn require a relatively large amount of space.
  • the circular switch not only reduces the footprint of the entire collection device but also the tax expense that is required in the known solution for the control of a variety of individual points.
  • the frame may be cuboid in a conventional manner, wherein the sections of the guideways are arranged on two mutually parallel side surfaces of the frame and an interface to the single sheet transport on a side surface perpendicular to the first side surfaces square side of the frame is trained. In each case an interface for connecting a sheet dispensing station is formed on the remaining rectangular sides. If, for example, the interface for the single-sheet transport is located on the underside of the frame, then two interfaces for the sheet output on the second side surfaces of the frame and a further interface for a sheet output on the upper side of the frame can be provided.
  • the collecting device offers the possibility to choose the location of a dispensing station according to the local conditions or the ergonomic requirements, without the need for the collecting device or the cash dispenser would have to be changed.
  • a reject compartment is present in the collecting device, then this is preferably arranged on the side of the basic setting section facing away from the stacking device such that its sheet inlet opening points to the circular switch.
  • the basic position section is thus located between the stacking device and the reject compartment, ie approximately in the middle of the cuboidal frame.
  • the circular switch is approximately in the middle between the second side walls of the cuboid frame, which form the interfaces for the output stations. This not only has the advantage that the track lengths are approximately the same length to the interfaces on the opposite side walls of the cuboid frame, but that the interface to the top of the frame is approximately in the center of the frame.
  • the guideway comprises at least one blind portion
  • the over the circular switch is connectable at least with the basic position section and is directed at least approximately parallel to the insertion direction of leaves in the sheet inlet opening of the reject tray.

  • a switchable switch is arranged at the discharge end of the input conveyor, which connects the input conveyor with the stacking device, preferably a stacking wheel or a buffer for single sheets depending on their position.
  • the buffer has at least two compartments whose inputs are selectively connectable to the discharge end of the input conveyor, so that per collecting operation two non-dispensable banknotes can be sorted out before the output process must be completely canceled altogether.
  • the arrangement is such that the buffer can be emptied by the input conveyor again.

  • This buffer consists of a storage space 178 which is arranged on the side facing away from the stacking wheels 28 of the input conveyor 24 ( FIGS. 6 and 7 ).
  • the storage compartment is divided into two compartments by a wall that can be adjusted with a stepper motor. This allows two reject processes to be stored separately per transaction.
  • a reject process can comprise a single note or several overlapping notes. In a second reject operation, the notes are usually spaced from the first reject operation, which is sufficient to open the second compartment.
  • FIGS. 6 and 7 can be seen at the upper end of the input conveyor, a switch 180, which between the in the FIG. 6 position shown and in the FIG. 7 shown position can be adjusted.
  • a switch 180 which between the in the FIG. 6 position shown and in the FIG. 7 shown position can be adjusted.
  • Banknotes fed by the entry conveyor are transported to the left in the storage compartment following the curved arrow at the top end of the entry conveyor.
  • the switch 180 according to FIG. 7 the banknotes are fed to the stacking wheels.
  • the compartments of the cache In pauses between two transactions, the compartments of the cache must be cleared.
  • the respective compartment for pressing against the back of the outer belt drive, which forms the input conveyor pressed.
  • the compartment back has two pairs of wheels, which have a smaller distance from the note height and press on the spring-loaded belt.
  • a locking lever After pressing the compartment rear wall, a locking lever is swung out, which has kept the banknotes in the compartment.
  • the banknotes are deflected around the lower inlet roller of the input conveyor and introduced into the normal transport path, so that they can be stored by the stacking device in the trolley. Subsequently, the trolley transports the rejected banknotes in the manner described above in the reject tray.
