Abstract

L'invention concerne une pièce structurale ou de châssis d'un véhicule à moteur. Cette pièce structurale ou de châssis est constituée d'une matière composite et comporte une couche extérieure métallique, une couche centrale de plastique ou de mousse plastique et une couche extérieure de plastique renforcé par des fibres. L'objet de l'invention est d'obtenir une pièce structurale ou de châssis qui permet de réduire encore le poids sans nuire aux propriétés de capacité d'absorption de charge. A cette fin, l'épaisseur de la couche centrale de plastique est d'au moins 0,2 mm.
