Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bag with a gusset.
  • the invention further relates to a method for producing a bag according to the first paragraph.
  • the pouch described therein has a gusset interposed between a front wall and a rear wall and a reclosure disposed on the inside of the gusset with a first closure member and a second closure member for forming a resealable chute in an opening region in the gusset.
  • the chute is formed by moving out that portion of the gusset located from the opening area towards the foot area of the bag.
  • the re-closure has a sealing flap which covers the opening region and its edge regions which adjoin it and which is secured along its edge with the recess of a continuous region on the inside of the side fold.
  • the closing flap is at least partially made of a sealable material and is defined along its edge with the recess of the contiguous area on the inside of the gusset by a sealed seam.
  • the sealed seam has the shape of an inverted "U", wherein a U-web is located above the opening region, that is, starting from the opening region in the direction of the head region of the bag. The two adjoining the U-web U-legs extend down towards the bottom area. Between the U-legs of the opening area runs.
  • Such a bag involves the considerable risk during pouring or dumping of the packaged product that packaged goods can accumulate in the interior of the bag adjacent to the closing flap and that part of the side fold to which the closing flap is fastened, ie essentially that part of the side fold. is located above the opening area, is pressed by the weight of the above the opening portion or the opening accumulating packaged goods to the outside and, as soon as enough packaged goods accumulated, the located above the opening portion of the gusset folds outward.
  • the chute located below the opening area is largely closed and consequently prevents a swift and well-dosed pouring out of the packaged goods or completely prevented dumping, because granular packaged goods can block the now quite narrow pouring opening of the chute.
  • the DE202010014773U1 discloses a pouch having a reclosable system integrated into the gusset comprised of two opposing closure strips which are both disposed on the inner surface and mid-region of the gusset and extend to the edges of the gusset. This arrangement allows four reinforcing longitudinal sealing seams at the edges of the gussets, which are not interrupted in the region of the closure strips.
  • the subject of the invention is therefore a bag made of a film having an outer side and a sealable inner side, and having a front wall and a rear wall and a head region and a foot region and at least one gusset extending longitudinally between the head region and the foot region, the side gusset being delimited by a first longitudinal seal seam toward the front wall and bounded by a second longitudinal seal seam toward the back wall and having an opening portion and having a reclosure attached to the inside, wherein the reclosure has a closing flap which covers the opening area and adjoining edge areas, wherein the closing flap has a width adapted to the width of the side fold and along its edge, which has a first edge zone and an adjoining second edge zone and a third edge zone, with a recess contiguous area between the second and third edge zone, in which a closure part is arranged, on the inside by the in the first Sealed longitudinal seam sealed second edge zone and sealed in the second longitudinal sealing seam third edge zone.

  • the various walls of the bag may be present as individual wall segments and joined together by gluing or sealing their edges. Also, extrusion seams are possible. Also, a film can be formed into a tube and contacting edges of the film, more specifically the inside of these edges, sealed together to make the bag. In addition, in such a tube shape by folding the tube wall, a side fold or two side folds can be produced. At such fold edges and the structure of the bag reinforcing longitudinal sealing seams may be formed.

  • the opening region can also be formed by an originally closed part of the film, which is opened only when the bag is first opened or removed from the bag.
  • the opening region may have a material weakening limiting the opening, which weakening material defines a region of a flap which can be completely or partially released from the gusset, wherein a chute can be formed after opening or removal of the flap.
  • the weakening of the material can be produced by the action of a laser beam or by the production of a perforation or embossing. There may also be a combination of these measures.
  • the material weakening may be a continuous line or in the form of a broken line.
  • the opening may also already be incorporated in the film and this opening may be closed by an additional closing tab applied on the outside of the film, which has to be torn away from the opening in order to open it. In both cases, an original packed condition can be detected when the opening is completely closed, so there is no damage to the tab.
  • the opening area may be formed into a bag prior to processing the film. be defined in their manufacture. However, the opening area can also be defined or produced in the course of processing the film into a bag.

  • the bag may also include actuating means for actuating the reclosure disposed on the gusset adjacent the opening portion, the actuating means having a grip portion for engaging and a mounting portion for securing the gripping portion to the gusset.
  • the actuating means may be formed by a single or multi-layer film strip, either transversely to the longitudinal direction or parallel to the longitudinal direction, preferably at the position of a central Folding line of the gusset either on the outside or on the inside, is attached. If it is attached to the inside, it is led out of the bag through a slot along the fold line, so that the grip area can be easily gripped from the outside.
  • the slot and preferably also the fastening area attached to the inside, can be sealed off with an inside attached cover sheet.
  • the attachment area as well as the cover sheet can be arranged between the inside and an element of the reclosure.
  • the attachment area may engage immediately adjacent the opening area at the location of the gusset to which is attached one part of the reclosure which cooperates with the other part of the reseal fastener attached to the closure tab.
  • a film As a film, a single-layer film or a multi-layer film can be used.
  • a multilayer film may e.g. be made by laminating or coextrusion.
  • the advantage is obtained by this measure that for the attachment of the adjoining the first edge zone second and third edge zone of VerschWRlasche on the inside no separate sealing tool and consequently no separate step is necessary. Rather, in the production of the longitudinal sealing seams in a single step, the respective longitudinal sealing seam is produced at the same time and the closing flap is fastened or sealed in the respective longitudinal sealing seam. The manufacturing process can thus run more efficiently and cost-effectively than is the case with the known method.
  • the first and the second longitudinal sealing seam have a longitudinal sealing seam width.
  • a "width adapted to the width of the gusset" is intended to mean that the maximum width of the closing flap can be so large that the second and the third edge zone (ie the right and the left edge zone) the respective longitudinal sealing seam - possibly with the recess Buckling or folding region of the film at the outer edge of the longitudinal sealing seam - completely fills, or that the width of the closing flap may be slightly smaller than the aforementioned maximum width, so that the third and the fourth edge zone extend only into a part of the respective longitudinal sealing seam and thus only partially fill the respective longitudinal sealing seam viewed from the inside to the outside.
  • the second edge zone along the full longitudinal seal seam width or along a portion of the longitudinal seal seam width can be sealed into the first longitudinal seam and the third edge zone sealed into the second longitudinal seam along the full longitudinal seam width or along a portion of the longitudinal seal seam width. If the respective edge zone is sealed along the full longitudinal sealing seam width, a particularly good anchoring of the Obtain closure flap in the respective longitudinal sealing seam, which is favorable, for example, with a relatively small longitudinal sealing seam width.
  • the longitudinal sealing seam width is relatively large, it may be sufficient for the respective edge zone to be sealed into the longitudinal sealing seam along only a part of the longitudinal sealing seam width in order, for example, not to excessively influence the outer appearance of the longitudinal seam seam and to keep it as narrow as possible, at least optically.
  • the head region is closed with a top seal seam and the first edge zone is sealed into the top seal seam.
  • the integration of the upper edge (first edge zone) of the closing flap into the top-seal seam enables the opening area or opening to be as close as possible for the first time the top seal can be brought.
  • the chute can be opened close to the top seal or immediately adjacent to the top seal. This is possible only because a separate sealing seam between the top seal seam and the opening region for attaching the upper edge (first edge zone) of the closure flap is dispensed with.
  • the use of the film is optimized in a production of the bag, because of a de facto unusable upper bag volume above the lower edge (located towards the foot area) of the closing flap can be largely dispensed with.
  • the film used in bag making can be used to a greater extent to produce a useful lower bag volume, ultimately resulting in more efficient film usage.
  • the bag can ultimately be made smaller or, viewed differently, foil material can be saved for a given usable bag volume.
  • the reduced in relation to the known bag upper bag volume has an additional effect Favorable to the problem of the known bag from folding out of lying above the opening portion of the gusset from.
  • a reduced upper bag volume ultimately also means a lower maximum pressure on the closure tab from inside the bag.
  • the top seal has a top seal margin. Similar to the two longitudinal sealing seams, it may be advantageous if the first edge zone is sealed into the top seal seam along the full top seal seam width or along part of the top seal seam width. Again, the considerations discussed in relation to the longitudinal seam approach in a figurative sense with respect to anchoring in the top seal and outer appearance of the top seal.
  • the opening region or the opening or ultimately an upper edge of the chute can be located at least within a region defined by the size of the closing tab at a freely selectable distance adjacent to the top-seal seam.
  • the opening area or the opening or the upper edge of the chute is arranged directly adjacent to the top seal seam. This means that the upper edge of the chute can either be spaced around a tab that can be pulled out of the gusset or directly below the top seal. In both cases, the advantage is obtained that the upper, unusable bag volume (above the lower edge of the closing tab) can be kept as low as possible.
  • Immediately adjacent to the top seal should mean here in a range of 0 to 5 cm, preferably in a range of 0.5 to 2 cm.
  • the closure part extends from the first longitudinal seam to the end extends to the second longitudinal seam, so along the entire width of the gusset. Then, the entire width of the gusset can be used as width of the chute. In the event that this is not desired, however, the closure part can also be made narrower. Then, suitably, the width of the chute to the width of the closure part adapted to be narrower than the width of the gusset dimensioned.
  • the closure part has proved advantageous for the closure part to have a first closure element fixed on the inside of the side fold and a second closure element cooperating therewith fixed to the closure flap, and the first and the second closure element immediately adjacent to the opening region or at a distance from the latter Opening portion is arranged in the direction of the foot region, wherein the first closure element on the inside and the second closure element are fixed to that of the inside facing side of the closure flap.
  • the size of the upper bag volume can thus be determined as a function of the width of the closure element and / or the width of the opening region. In the present case, the width is measured in the longitudinal direction of the gusset. As a distance, a range of 0 to 5 cm, preferably a range of 0 to 2 cm, are used.
  • the closure elements may be formed by parts of a zipper.
  • the first closure element is a first Velcro strip with a first Velcro area, which is bounded on the one hand by a first sealing flange located towards the head region and on the other hand by a second sealing flange located towards the foot region

  • the two Velcro strips are parallel to each other and transverse to the longitudinal direction preferably 90 ° transverse to the longitudinal direction.
  • the size of the upper bag volume can now be determined as a function of the width of the third sealing flange. As a distance, a range of 0 to 5 cm, preferably a range of
  • the production of the top seal occurs after the production of the first and the second longitudinal seam. This ensures that first the reclosure can be positioned on the inside of the flat spread film, then a Hose formation and production of the longitudinal sealing seams with sealed second and third marginal zone of the closing sheet and structuring of the side folds can take place and only after that the pouch is closed on the head side.
  • the production of the respective sealing seams (longitudinal sealing seams and top seal seam) takes place with the aid of pairs of sealing jaws, which are heated and pressed against one another with sections of the film lying between them.
  • the Velcro areas of the two Velcro strips can be identical or designed differently.
