Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Fahrzeug der eingangs genannten Gattung so auszugestalten, dass eine weitere Optimierung des Arbeitsraumes möglich ist.The invention has the object of providing a vehicle of the type mentioned in such a way that a further optimization of the working space is possible.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die Merkmale im Kennzeichnungsteil des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Durch die erfindungsgemäßen Maßnahmen ist eine vielseitige und damit auch optimale Vergrößerung des Arbeitsraumes möglich. Weiterhin ermöglicht die zweiteilige Ausbildung der Seitenwand eine rasche und wirkungsvolle Anpassung des Arbeitsraumes an besondere Situationen. So kann durch Anheben des unteren Wandabschnittes ein rascher Zugang zum Arbeitsraum geschaffen werden, um diesem beispielsweise durch ein Staplerfahrzeug Arbeitsmaterial zuzuführen oder aus diesem zu entfernen. Es kann aber auch sehr rasch die Belüftung des Arbeitsraumes auf der sicheren, kein Nachbargleis aufweisenden Fahrzeugseite verändert werden. Sobald jedoch ein Abschnitt mit einem angrenzenden Nachbargleis erreicht ist, kann durch Absenken des unteren Wandabschnittes sofort ein uneingeschränkter Sicherheitszustand erzielt werden.This object is achieved by the features in the characterizing part of

- Track maintenance vehicle comprising two undercarriages (5) which are spaced from each other in a longitudinal direction (2) of the vehicle, and two side walls (10) which are spaceable from each other in a transverse direction extending normally to the longitudinal direction (2) of the vehicle so as to limit a work zone (13) which is open in the direction of the track (9) and is provided to perform maintenance works, wherein relative to a vertical, each side wall (10) is composed of an upper wall portion (19) and a lower wall portion (20), and wherein the lower wall portion (20) is height-adjustable relative to the upper wall portion (19) by means of a drive (21),

- Vehicle according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the upper wall portion (19) is mounted to a central upper frame portion (6), configured as a longitudinal carrier (22), of the vehicle frame (3) in such a way as to be pivotable about an axle (27) extending in the longitudinal direction (2) of the vehicle.
- Vehicle according to claim 3, characterized in that the ends (4) of the longitudinal carrier (22) are supported on the undercarriages (5).
