In hoods, which are designed as a so-called Esse, the actual hood is attached to a fan box, which can also be referred to as a fan housing. This hood is limited when eating up and out through a viewing hood and functional elements, such as electronic elements are accommodated in the hood. In addition, filter elements are held in the hood, which cover a suction opening of the hood. Above the hood, the fan box is covered by a chimney.
Currently, such foods are made so that the viewing hood is bolted to the fan box. In addition, stiffening and connecting elements are screwed to the viewing hood in order to give it the required rigidity and to attach the functional and filter elements can. For example, a vertical rear wall is screwed to the viewing hood at the rear of the viewing hood. On the underside, a connecting rail is screwed to the viewing hood along the rear edge of the viewing hood. Furthermore, a centrally extending along the width of the viewing hood stiffening rail is provided. For holding the electronics or at least to protect against interference with the electronics also a shield plate is provided which is also bolted to the viewing hood. To protect against the entry of contaminants and better air line to the air inlet of the fan box, a baffle in the form of a trough can also be attached to the viewing hood or the stiffening and connecting elements. In these hoods thus the viewing hood is the supporting element of the hood.

A disadvantage of the known extractor hoods in the form of food, is that a large variety of parts is necessary in order to realize different forms of extractor hood, in particular the viewing hood and the fan box can. In addition, the production is complicated due to the large number of joints and difficult because of the sometimes poor accessibility of the joints. Finally, it is disadvantageous that, for repair purposes or maintenance work, for example on electronic elements which are arranged in the hood, as a rule an entire disassembly of the hood from the ventilator box is necessary.
Object of the present invention is therefore to provide a solution in which the variety of parts that is necessary for the provision of different cooker hoods can be minimized and the hood can still be easily mounted and maintained.
The invention is based on the finding that this object can be achieved by providing a skeleton which serves to support the essential components of the extractor hood and can be fastened to the functional and facing elements.
According to a first aspect, the object is therefore achieved by an extractor hood, in particular a dining area comprising a fan box and a viewing hood. The hood is characterized in that the fan box forms a backbone, at least with an inner frame of the hood, the inner frame at its top a defined interface for attachment to the fan box, the inner frame is firmly connected to the underside of the fan box with this, the inner frame the outside of which has at least one interface for connection to the viewing hood and the viewing hood is releasably secured to the skeleton, wherein the inner frame has a trough-shaped base body and at the bottom of the Body is provided the interface for attachment to the fan box, wherein the tank bottom is the top of the inner frame.
The extractor hood according to the invention preferably represents a meal, in particular a Wandesse. As Esse in this context, an extractor hood is called, in which the fan box is at least partially surrounded by the hood, which comprises a viewing hood on the outside and in the interior functional elements, such as the Control electronics of the hood and filter element are added. The fan box is the housing in which the fan and possibly also the motor and associated electronic components are included for operating the fan. As the inner frame of the hood is understood in the context of the invention, a component of the hood, which has at its top a defined interface for attachment to the fan box and on the outside at least one interface for connection to the viewing hood. In addition to the inner frame and other components of the hood, in particular electronic components and filter elements are kept. Preferably, the inner frame is used in addition to the targeted air flow from an intake opening at the bottom to the air inlet to the fan box. For this purpose, the inner frame is preferably designed in a trough shape in which the trough bottom is the upper side. As a viewing hood, according to the present invention, a veneering part of the extractor hood is referred to. The viewing hood preferably covers the distance between the outer edge of the extractor hood and the fan box at least upwards. In the present invention, in contrast to the prior art, the viewing hood has no supporting function, so that it can represent a pure facing element.
The connection between the fan box and the inner frame is preferably a solid connection, which can only be solved by means of tools. Preferably, the connection, that is, the attachment of the inner frame on the fan box by means of screws. As a result, a stable skeleton can be formed on which further parts of the extractor hood can be constructed. The basic structure lies with the mounted extractor hood inside. In particular, the viewing hood is attached to the skeleton. In addition, the fireplace, which serves as a veneer of the fan box, be attached to the skeleton. The attachment of the viewing hood to this Backbone is inventively a releasable connection. Particularly preferably, the connection between the viewing hood and the skeleton in the region of the fan box is a plug-in, clamping and / or clamp connection. At the interface of the inner frame to the viewing hood, this can be additionally connected to the inner frame by means of screws or other releasable connecting means. By attaching the viewing hood to the skeleton, which is located inside the hood, the viewing hood can be removed from the skeleton if necessary, without parts of the skeleton, in particular the inner frame, must also be removed.
The inner frame, which has interfaces for connection to the viewing hood and in addition to the fan box, also gives the hood in the hood the necessary stability. Since this stability is achieved by a single component, namely the inner frame, the required number of parts for the production of the hood is minimized and simplifies the production. In addition, the storage and product development for different forms of extractor hood, in particular the viewing hood is simplified because only the shape of a component, namely the inner frame, must be changed. Finally, the design of the hood according to the invention also extends the freedom of design of the viewing hood, as this no longer represents a supporting component and thus the shape and the material of the viewing hood can be chosen freely. According to the invention, the inner frame is a load-bearing component of the basic framework. In this context, a component is referred to as the load-bearing component, to which other components of the extractor hood, in particular the hood, are fastened or held. In addition, at least part of the weight of these components is preferably carried by this component. The inner frame can be made for this purpose of a material whose wall thickness allows the supporting function. Additionally or alternatively, reinforcements, for example in the form of beads, can be introduced into the inner frame. Finally, fastening devices for holding or fastening electronic components and / or filter elements can also be provided on the inner frame. The inner frame is preferably a sheet metal component which is produced by deep drawing. In addition, a bending part can be permanently attached to the inner frame, in particular fastening devices for filter elements can be provided. The bent part is also referred to as the rear wall of the inner frame.
According to the invention, the inner frame has a trough-shaped main body and at the bottom of the main body an interface for attachment to the fan box is provided. In particular, the interface represents a contact area on which the fan box rests on the inner frame. In addition, fastening elements, in particular screw passages are provided at the interface, via which the inner frame can be screwed to the fan box. When assembled, the inner frame is installed with the bottom of the tub facing upwards. In the bottom of the air passage opening is additionally introduced, can pass through the air from the inner frame in the fan box. The interface is therefore preferably provided at the edge of the air passage opening of the inner frame. In addition to the interface for connection to the fan box, an interface for connection to the viewing hood is provided on the inner frame. This interface is located on the outer edge or frame of the inner frame. Preferably, this interface is formed only by a part of the outer edge of the inner frame. In particular, the lateral outer edges of the inner frame are the interface through which the viewing hood can be attached to the inner frame. The interface also represents a contact area, on which the viewing hood rests on the inner frame. In addition, fastening elements, in particular screw passages are provided at the interface, via which the inner frame can be screwed to the viewing hood.
According to one embodiment, two fastening rails are provided on the fan box, via which the viewing hood can be releasably connected to the fan box. The mounting rails can be made in one piece with the fan box or preferably attached to the fan box. The advantage of separate mounting rails is that their shape and material can be selected according to the function to be performed by the mounting rail. In particular, a clamping force can be applied to the viewing hood by the mounting rail. Particularly preferably, the rails are provided on the sides of the fan box, in particular in the lower region of the fan box. By providing rails on opposite sides of the fan box, the viewing hood can be inserted from the front for connection to the fan box in the rails. By clamping or locking elements on the rails, the viewing hood can then be held in position. By the viewing hood from the front of the fan box can be postponed, hindered the inner frame, which is firmly connected to the bottom of the fan box with this, does not slide. By providing mounting rails, in particular with clamping or locking means also a removal of the viewing hood of the fan box without tools is possible. This simplifies the maintenance or repair of components covered by the sighting cap.
Furthermore, a non-inventive kit for cooker hoods for producing a cooker hood according to the invention comprises an inner frame and a fan box. The kit is characterized in that the inner frame and the fan box are used to produce a skeleton and the kit comprises at least two viewing hoods for releasable attachment to the skeleton.
With this kit, two different cooker hoods can be made. These extractor hoods differ only by the viewing hood. Since this invention is placed or pushed onto an internal framework, the same basic framework can be used for different viewing hoods. In contrast to the prior art, in which the viewing hood is the supporting element and all components must be adapted to the viewing hood, the number of components that must be kept or developed for the production of different cooker hoods, low in the kit according to the invention. Preferably, the at least two viewing hoods of the kit have different shapes. The shape of the viewing hoods may differ by their geometry and / or their dimensions. If the viewing hoods differ only in terms of their geometry and / or dimension in the height direction, the same basic framework, that is to say the same fan box and the same inner frame, can be used for the different viewing hoods. This is the case, for example, for viewing hoods, which have a box shape and differ only in height. Also, the kit may have a viewing hood in box shape and another viewing hood with a roof shape. In both cases changes in the kit according to the invention at best, the position of the point at which the viewing hood is attached to the fan box. The basic structure consisting of fan box and inner frame, however, remains the same. In addition, it is preferably also possible to compensate for the difference in height of the viewing hoods by using differently high fastening rails. In this case, the remains Also, the position at which the viewing hood is connected to the fan box is the same. The use of mounting rails will be described in more detail below with reference to a preferred embodiment.
If the shapes of the viewing hoods differ by their width, only inner frames of different widths are to be provided in the modular system. The fan box, however, in some cases remain the same for inner frames of different widths.
The kit includes two fan boxes of different widths and three inner frames of different widths. With this kit, all cooker hoods of conventional dimensions can be produced with the desired viewing hood. Preferably, the kit in this embodiment comprises inner frame, which are each used for a hood hood width of 30cm, 60cm and 90 cm. The width of the inner frame for these extractor hood widths may be 20cm, 50cm and 80cm, for example. The width of the fan cases of the kit can be for example 20cm and 30cm. In the inner frame in this case corresponding air passage openings are provided, wherein the width of the air passage opening of the inner frame for the extractor hood widths 30cm to 50cm and 60cm are the same and 20cm. Only the air outlet opening of the inner frame for the extractor hood width of 90cm is different and is 30cm. By the air passage opening at two inner frames of different widths are the same, the same fan box can be used for these two inner frame, whereby the number of components of a kit for the production of different cooker hoods can be further reduced. In addition, the smallest inner frame can also be used to attach a glass shade as a viewing hood.
Preferably, predetermined interfaces to a fan box and a viewing hood are provided on the inner frame of the kit. These interfaces are respectively provided at the outer edge of the inner frame and at the edge of the air passage opening of the inner frame. As a result, the further shape of the inner frame for the applied to the backbone visual cover is not important and a viewing hood can be replaced by another. This is advantageous over the prior art in which stiffening and connecting elements had to be adapted to the shape of the viewing hood.
The kit may comprise, according to one embodiment, two mounting rails for connecting the fan box to a viewing hood. The mounting rails are attached to opposite sides of the fan box. As a result, a connection between the fan box and the viewing hood can be generated by sliding the viewing hood onto the ventilator box. By the mounting rails represent separate components, the mounting rails can be mounted according to the position of the connection point between the fan box and the viewing hood on the fan box in view hoods, which have different heights or a mounting rail corresponding height can be used for different sight hoods.
According to a further aspect, the invention relates to a method for mounting an extractor hood according to
By connecting the viewing hood to the fan box before attaching the inner frame to the fan box, overhead mounting can be achieved. This means that the underside of the fan box and the underside of the viewing hood can point upwards during assembly. This is advantageous because the parts to be joined do not have to be arranged above the fitter. In addition, a screwing, in which the fitter brings the screws down, ergonomically advantageous.
According to one embodiment, the method steps of assembling the extractor hood are performed in a package. If appropriate, at least one method step of attaching fastening rails to the viewing hood can be carried out prior to the insertion of the viewing hood into the packaging, that is, outside the packaging become. In particular, a box is referred to as packaging, in which optionally workpiece carriers can be introduced. The assembly in the package is inventively possible because the assembly is made so that the hood is located above the head, that is, the underside of the individual components is accessible from above. The advantage of this embodiment is that an additional packaging step can be omitted. In addition, it is not necessary in this embodiment to bring the fully assembled hood in a package, which may possibly damage the cooker hood.
According to a further embodiment, two fastening rails are releasably connected to the viewing hood before the connection of the viewing hood with the fan box. About the mounting rails then in a further process step, the attachment of the viewing hood to the fan box. In this case, the rails are used, in particular, for pushing and removing the viewing hood onto the ventilator box or from the ventilator box. The direction in which the pushing and pulling takes place, is directed horizontally, that is, the viewing hood is pushed from the front of the fan box. By connecting the mounting rails to the viewing hood prior to attachment to the fan box, the subsequent step of connecting the viewing hood to the fan box can be made via the mounting rails in a box overhead. Even with an assembly outside of a package can be minimized by the prior connection of the mounting rails with the viewing hood space requirements for mounting in the horizontal direction.
Preferably, the releasable connection between the viewing hood and the fan box is made by a clamping and / or positive connection or a snap-in connection. This connection is advantageous because the connection between the viewing hood and the fan box can be solved without tools.
The connection between the fan box and the inner frame, however, is preferably carried out by screws or rivets. The fan box and the inner frame form the backbone of the cooker hood. Thus, an attachment in which the relative movement of the components can be reliably avoided in all directions to each other, advantageous.
- 1) pushing on mounting rails on an inner fold of the viewing hood,
- 2) placing the viewing hood on a workpiece carrier,
- 3) pushing the fan box into the viewing hood, in particular into the inner edge of the viewing hood,
- 4) screwing the fan box with the mounting rails,
- 5) wiring of electrical components of the cooker hood,
- 6) Inserting and screwing a light strip into the viewing hood,
- 7) fixing the inner frame to the fan box, placing the inner frame on the viewing hood, and
- 8) Screw the inner frame to the fan box.
The said process steps are preferably carried out in the order given. However, steps 1 and 2 can also be performed in reverse order. This is particularly possible if the hood is not mounted in a package and sufficient mounting space in the horizontal direction. In addition, according to the invention, it is also possible first to place the ventilator box on a workpiece carrier, which may be located in a packaging, and then to place the viewing hood from below with fixing rails fastened thereto.
The fixing of the inner frame to the fan box in
Following the screwing of the inner frame with the fan box or previously also the viewing hood can be screwed to the interfaces with the inner frame with this. This connection is used, inter alia, grounding purposes and can reliably prevent relative movement of the viewing hood and the inner frame to each other. However, this relative movement is at least partially already prevented by the attachment of the viewing hood to the fan box.
The light strip is inserted into the viewing hood so that it rests on a connecting web extending inwards from the outer edge of the viewing hood. The connecting web is in this case preferably provided on a frame on the underside of the viewing hood, which extends along the outer edge of the viewing hood.
After screwing the inner frame with the fan box and any necessary screwing the viewing hood with the inner frame, filter elements are introduced into the inner frame, for example in the form of filter cartridges. These are attached to the back of the inner frame and the back of the light bar, in particular hung or snapped. For this purpose, the back of the inner frame has a greater height than the other inner frame.

With the present invention, a standardization in the production of cooker hoods, in particular food is achieved by providing a backbone of fan box and inner frame and the definition of interfaces on the inner frame. In this case, common parts of this standard can also be used in special designs, for example at over-widths such as 120 cm of the extractor hoods and thus contribute to a further reduction in complexity.
By standardizing the filter cutout for 60 / 70cm devices and for 90 / 100cm devices, the light strips in 2 widths and the filter elements can be standardized in one width in the invention. The filter elements as well as the light strip, which are used for wall meals, are used analogously for island food as well as for extractor hoods with a width of 120cm.
By defining interfaces on the inner frame, the extractor hood can be modularly constructed in the future. Only the parts that are relevant to the design are rebuilt.
