Der transluzente Bereich 36 erstreckt sich über die Höhe der Vorderwand 29 entlang der Ausnehmung 30. Durch die seitliche Einstrahlung aus der Lichtquelle 35 hebt sich der transluzente Bereich 36 stark von seiner Umgebung ab; denn er ist in den aus dem Vorratsbehälter 25 mit Wäschebehandlungsmittel benetzten Bereichen dunkler als in den unbenetzten Bereichen. Dadurch ergibt sich wie in Fig. 1 ein gut erkennbarer senkrechter Balken (z. B. dort an der Ausnehmung 22) als analoges Maß für den Füllzustand des zugehörigen Vorratsbehälters. Die Vorderwand 37 des Vorratsbehälters 38 in Fig. 5 ist über die Höhe der Ausnehmung 30 in ihren Hohlraum eingeformt, so dass zwischen der Ausnehmung 30 und der Einformung 39 ein Formschluss entsteht. So kann von seitlich auf die Außenfläche der Vorderwand 37 des Vorratsbehälters 38 einfallendes Licht ferngehalten werden.
